So for context, I met this guy and he’s really sweet we talk for a few days we were taking things slow and yk going with the flow and see how it ends and see if things go well but suddenly he has a few issues going on around his friend group and stuff like that, okay that’s reasonable and then he gets into a lot of stress about his work and personal life about how hard things are for him and he just wants to be calm for now (mentally). As we were talking about that he also mentions he thinks that he doesn’t like me as much as I like him or that it’s not equal, which is fair considering it’s only been a few weeks at this point. So he suggests that we take a break for a week or maybe two. We send each other snaps and reels but I don’t know how to feel, like I know he’s in a tough spot but should I wait for him? Or just move on to another person? But at the same time I don’t think he will move on from me and I’ll try to find him in others.
WHAT DO I DO??? DO I DROP IT???? OR DO I GO THROUGH IT AND SEE HOW IT GOES???

The new diagnosis is the cartilage in his hip is wearing down and he is going to need a hip replacement (he’s only 43). He knows I follow MM and have healed so much. So I'm curious to know which one of these devices you guys think holds up better. Im mainly talking about them in terms of their performance, hardware etc, not price points
Overall from what I've understood, the Win Minis biggest problem is thermals, where it heats up A LOT. The Ayaneo seems to have the issues of really bad ergonomics (in comparison to similar handheld, Ally, SD, Legion Go), as well as the screen size factor that some don't appreciate (ie, the resolution and resources that it has don't add up). But what do you guys think?

I'm a sucker for these kinds of long family sagas, so I knew I'd like it going in, but the second half of the book in particular hit me hard. Such a powerful exploration of despair, yearning, and the need to escape the confines of your life. This passage near the end cut deep:
When the fever is at its height, life calls to the patient: calls out to him as he wanders in his distant dream, and summons him in no uncertain voice. The harsh, imperious call reaches the spirit on that remote path that leads into the shadows, the coolness and peace. He hears the call of life, the clear, fresh, mocking summons to return to that distant scene which he has already left so far behind him, and already forgotten. And there may well up in him something like a feeling of shame for a neglected duty; a sense of renewed energy, courage, and hope; he may recognize a bond existing still between him and that stirring, colourful, callous existence which he thought he had left so far behind him. Then, however far he may have wandered on his distant path, he will turn back—and live. The property is meant to complete in May 2025. The searches and enquiries are done and a mortgage offer is made too which expires in September 2025. The conveyer has started to ghost me and it’s been a month. I sent the signed draft contract and other documentation but have no idea where I stand as I am not being answered. I am extremely worried as have been in a shitty situation living with family for a very long time. Finally a good thing (own place) was coming over and now this ghosting???
