I have observed this very much that dad's mostly wants thier child to act like their opposite mbti
My dad is ENTP and he is very protective towards me and constantly forces me to act like an ISFJ. According to him, childrens must given limited freedom otherwise they get spoiled. And this absolutely contradicts with how bold and independent he used to be in his teenage.
I have another INFJ uncle, who forced his daughter to act like ESTP ( she is an INFP). He will constantly force her to be more bold and independent. And would say childrens must have the right to choose what they want in life, and they must act very impulsive and not care so much about future much and live life.
My ESFP teacher whose daughter also studies in my school absolutely hates when her daughter do something ESFP like. She controls her hairstyle, she keeps a track of her friends, and forces her to study a lot) this INTJ kind of behaviour is what she demands which is a absolute contradiction.
So what do you guys think about it?

Our son, 2 months old, is hearing a mix of 2 languages at home. We wish for him in future to acquire a specific 3rd language, which none of us speak and is not a common language around us.
We thought to maybe hire a nanny who's a native speaker of the 3rd language, to come maybe twice a week, 1-2 hours at a time, to expose him to this language.
I'd love to hear your input: Is it a dumb idea? A waist of time and money? Does being exposed only a few hours a week even worth anything as far as recognizing this languages' sounds? Have someone tried it and could report from experience? Is there any reliable source we can read from? Does using recorded voices could help in any way? (I guess it can't replace a human voice, but maybe it could reinforce it?). And any other input of yours.

like I had 2 weeks continuous year 10 mocks for my gcse and it just ended on Friday so I was resting cause I needed a break from studying so I rewarded myself (mind you I was highest in the year group according to my teacher).
