Hey fellow New Yorkers and rental experts. I’m traveling a lot for work for the next 4-5 months. My mom is going to come and stay in my apartment to help out with things and to have a staycation for herself. There is a section in my lease that states I should list anyone over the age of 18 living with me. Is it necessary to notify the property management company about this matter?
I will be overseas and would prefer not to have to deal with any issues that may arise while I’m there.

2025.01.21 02:20 Serious_Crazy_3741 Lego Fortnite Odyssey has a lot of game design issues
From objects free floating in the air to quests being able to be completed and not receiving credit to imbalanced combat and outright god-awful control scheme, it's almost like they spent the minimal amount of time possible on this game mode.
I mean just look at the tutorial, two quests in, the player is asked to take down a wolf. A player who for all intents and purposes according to the demographic that this game is targeting, may not have the best chance in combat, is left armed with a terrible dagger and a Dodge ability that only works when the servers aren't melting down.
Then take the first main base you come up to. You are asked to build various items, and perhaps you stumble upon the car Jack, now anyone who sees something like that and is provided with the build prompt would logically think, hey, it's okay to go ahead and get it done because I have most of the materials and the rest are easy to get.
Oh but wait you just built that car before the quest came up, and now you have to take down the car. So you get to do all of that all over again, googling how to find the car they are looking for through the god-awful tiny menu, then moving around with the god-awful controls and surprise you didn't get all of your materials back!
Server issues are frequent, and despite being hardwired in on a good system, I will see that lovely Wi-Fi symbol on the left hand side of the screen every minute or so. Good luck dodging during that!
I want to like this game mode, I really do. But as someone who has been playing video games for damn near 30 years, the design issues stick out like a sore thumb. Either this is a game that wants you to use a guide for everything or it wants to guide you along the way but it cannot be both. Put simply, it is not intuitive.

2025.01.21 02:20 Boatnuts14 Issue with listing OS from usb
I have a super micro x10dai board with 2 Xeon e5-2609 v3 CPUs and 512 GB ddr4 ECC memory in it.
My trouble is I’m trying to install windows. I have tried USBs that were made with media creation tool and USBs made with Rufus. I always get just a windows logo with a spinning wheel or a super micro logo with a spinning wheel. I’ve tried Uefi and legacy. Can anyone suggest troubleshooting steps?
It’s posting so I don’t believe any hardware issues. All 14 drives I put in were formatted with disk part first. I’ve reset bios to default. I’ve tried to see if bios update is available but haven’t found much on their site about this board.
Any suggestions appreciated

I’m 21F and was just confirmed on the 2nd I have hsv2. I’m genuinely devastated and I feel like killing myself everyday. I have Borderline Personality disorder aswell so it’s already hard regulating my emotions but lately I’ve been feeling so worthless and disgusting. When my long time partner found out I have it in the hospital he called me disgusting and didn’t even want me to touch him and told me vaginas with herpes are gross. It’s been a few weeks and he’s still with me and says he’s sorry for saying those things but I still think about it everyday I don’t know how to cope with my feelings it’s been weeks now and the feelings get worse everyday. On top of that I’ve been having my first outbreak for a really long time and it won’t go away and is genuinely so painful. I hate the person that gave this to me and the fact they deny they even gave it to me. I’m sorry if I’m being annoying by being hella negative I just don’t know where to talk to about my feelings

Technically, I was 227 when I weighed myself in the app the first time. However, I didn't take the GLP-1 until the 22nd and didn't weigh myself until the 29th, so I counted my start weight as 228.6. Anyway, I've always struggled with my weight all my life until college, where I was forced to walk everywhere because I didn't have a car and essentially became "skinny fat." However, once the pandemic came and I started taking anxiety medication, I gained about fifty lbs over the past few years. I tried to work out and run over the summer and couldn't stop gaining weight. I discovered that GLP-1 was relatively affordable compared to the name-brand stuff and started it. I started for two reasons: I wanted to feel better about myself but couldn't keep buying more oversized clothing, as I kept growing out of mine.
Since I started, I have not experienced any side effects. I am usually a very healthy person who rarely gets sick or has ever suffered a serious injury. Ever since I started taking the medication, my appetite has been significantly reduced. I even buy slightly less food. I still snack but cut out breakfast and a second lunch after work. I'll eat a decent lunch, a yogurt, and a small dinner daily. If I'm craving, I'll snack on granola or a tiny bag of chips. I still crave junk food and fast food, but I don't want a lot, a few bites, really.
As seen in other posts, I expected to lose about ten lbs in the first month. However, I remind myself that 6 lbs is excellent progress from where I was during the summer. I was at a loss as to what I was doing wrong, and I had never struggled to lose weight like this before. This is the beginning of the change I want to see in my body. I strongly recommend that anyone try the GLP-1 shots; they're easy to inject and might give you the boost you need.
