I had to remove my Trump voting sister off my FB friend list. I understand that people have the right to vote as they wish. I'm no longer comfortable being close with Trump supporters, even if they're family.
Just in one day, Elon did a Nazi salute 🫡, leftist words are blocked on Instagram, the government reproductive rights website has been pulled and they're already talking about pulling birthright citizenship.
I plan to grieve and then get back up. I have some books of Timothy Snyder's and I want to meet local like minded people.

2025.01.21 13:34 zamks27 MacBook Air 2020 M1 Display problem

Stupidly, I left my MacBook Air on the ledge and the water that condensed on my window overnight dribbled down and managed to get into the top part of the device. I have given it a wipe and taken the cover off. Upon doing so I noticed there were small bits of water in the top part, the spongy bits in the corner also had water in them but nothing drastic.
I dried it out, but, the screen still doesn’t turn on.The MacBook itself turns on and I can connect it to another display monitor which works fine. However the screen on its own doesn’t seem to work at all. Any tips, ideas how I could fix this or what to check myself before taking it to a repair specialist?

Looking to make a mint julep cake. The cake would be vanilla with some bourbon soak. The frosting would be mint flavored.
I don't want to do the extract, because that tend to be more like spearmint, which reminds me of toothpaste and gum. I would like to infuse mint leaves into the frosting. Also, I would like to do Swiss meringue buttercream.
