2025.01.22 01:04 TheTokenBrownie Has anyone stepped into a role where they werenāt qualified and left?
I didnāt study finance in college; I now have close to 3 years of career experience. 1 and a half of this experience, I wouldnāt even count because it was a very easy job. So I really only count the past year of experience.
A year ago, I landed a role that unbeknownst to me, places me in a higher role than my teammates (by designation)
For the past year, I feel like Iāve been living in survival mode; just doing what is asked of me and not really learning much.
This year, management is noticing that I need to step into the role more. The thing is, my interview and offer letter never specified that Iād have a higher designation than my teammates. But as Iāve learned how the hierarchy works, Iām in a position that requires more of an expertise role, wherein I would be required to take bigger responsibilities.
Iām not saying I donāt like responsibilities; Iām just saying Iām very underprepared for this. Over the past year, Iāve learned a lot but not enough to fill these shoes. If I was more prepared, I would feel more comfortable. My management did not prepare me at all. They donāt have the time for this.
Has anyone experienced this? I need to take a step down and learn more before taking this on. I need to gain more experience. Plus, i donāt enjoy the line of business Iām in; I cannot get interested in what I do.
So, while I know what I need to, I thought I would make this post to learn from your experiences.

Currently, due to technical problems, I was having to use an i5 10400f with a 4080 super, 32 GB of RAM, yes from the bootneck, but there was no option.
Now I'm updating these parts, going from Am4 to Am5, since I'm going to spend money, let it be well spent, so I'm going to change my memories and motherboard.
However, as for the processor, I'm in doubt, for the price I want, there's only the Ryzen 5 9600X, or the Intel I5 14600k.
I would like to know your opinion on which one will play Star Citizen better?

2025.01.22 01:04 Distinct-Chicken-332 Roma striker options
Iām entering the second season of my Roma save on FM24. Iāve gotten UCL qualification by getting 5th place in Serie A and am now expected to reach the Round of 16 as well as qualifying again.
Lukakuās loan has ended and he has no interest in staying which leaves me with Tammy Abraham as my only decent striker, but heās not good enough. Iāve been going through striker options but Iāve only been given a whopping ā¬5m to work with which means I canāt sign nobody. On top of that I havenāt found any suitable strikers which are both willing to come on loan and playing for a club that would let them leave on loan.
Iāve requested more funds for transfers multiple times but Iām working with a board that wonāt even spend money on improving the clubās facilities.
Iām quite new to the game so I donāt really know what to do here. Given the state of the market I wonāt be able to raise funds for a striker without selling other key players. So do I just work with what I have and hope the coming season isnāt catastrophic or are there players out there/way of getting players on loan that can solve my problem?
Any help is appreciated

Trying to decide between these two models, the Toto from Amazon and the Kohler from Costco. They're basically both $350. As far as I can tell:
Toto C2 + Ewater+ + Brand name - No remote - Tank
Kohler C3 + Remote + Hybrid/continuous water supply + Side-to-side oscillating wand
Does anyone know of the intangibles? Like quality or comfort, and ease of cleaning? There's also Costco's version of the Toto C2 (also $350) but it doesn't seem to have Ewater+.

Itās been challenging for me to get people to look at this game that are actually part of the gaming community. Itās not a AAA title so itās often overlooked as a niche game. Itās hardcore PvP, with a player economy, and a deep crafting system, so people automatically have anxiety when asked to play it. It also has a sub cost and itās a small dev team. They need the funds to keep maintaining and adding more content to the game. It is a rare gem for those that loved Morrowind and Skyrim. Those that like the darker fantasy MMORPGās. Itās a game that can be enjoyed with trusted friends and those with the time and resources to afford the monthly subscription.
I am a kind guild leader and I supported a guy for 2 years, gave him my full support in this game then after he learned everything from me he betrayed me and left to start his own guild and took all of my most active members with him. I trusted him to train new players while I dealt with the economic side and politics of running the guild. Instead of making us stronger he was plotting against me the whole time and I didnāt see it. He often criticized me because I worked a lot and he felt I was not an active guild leader even though I played every day and offered him whatever support he needed. In the end, he used my active guild name and reputation to befriend my members, leech them and eventually take them for himself. Then he was passive aggressive with me and said āWell I trained and recruited most of them.ā Yes but that was his role. Not to take them as his own.
Itās been difficult to find support since. I have a small group 3-5 that remained loyal and we are building from that and staying positive. We hope to find good people who enjoy playing games together. Thatās another thing, the guy who stole my members criticized me for taking a break from Mortal Online 2 to try other games. But he failed to support us as a gaming community. Weāve always played other games together and that was its purpose. Recruiting has been insufferable. Due to the low pop player base, most of the active players are taken or have a bad reputation and history. If I could find some friends and decent people here to support me we could do some great things together in this amazing underrated game.
