2025.01.22 04:25 sundressemite I never thought getting through my day to day would be such a chore.
I feel unfulfilled in so many aspects in my life.
I recently passed my final exam for a certification that I spent my entire undergrad and masters working towards and have been working a full time for a little over a year. Now that I don't need to study ever again for this (yay!) I feel less drive to do anything. I believe it's a mix of a lack of discipline and drive. My day job is so boring to me though, and even though I want to be good at what I do, I find it hard to care too deeply.
I told myself I'd try to pursue some hobbies to make the day go by faster but I ended up getting bored and giving up. For example, I wanted to learn how to code and perhaps have the end goal of making an app one day. I say down today and just gave up about an hour in. I do see myself working on it more but I just can't see it coming to light anytime soon. I do understand that this takes practice and patience.
I also wanted to learn how to DJ, I actually have been practicing a bit over the past year and I have a controller. Lately my music has seemed so repetitive and boring, and that says a lot because I feel like music is a revolving constant in my life and I've been discovering and adding songs to my software to learn how to mix, but I just can't see myself going to my desk and starting up my laptop.
At this time last year, I was working the same job. However, I had plans every other day and generally filled my schedule up being social. At the end of 2024, I had a falling out with my ex-best friend, and I feel like that took away a lot of the spontaneity that I used to have and enjoy. However, I don't think I regret cutting him out of my life as ultimately we have different goals and values in our friendship. I have a good number of people in my close circle that I could talk to and care about, but the lack of face-to-face communication and my inherent desire to socialize and make friends is making me feel even more isolated from everything and everybody on a day to day basis. I also justify the lack of going out and socializing being a part of my savings goals for 2025 as a lot of my hang out plans involved grabbing food together and socializing, but I thought that wasn't sustainable long-term. Now I'm wondering how I could fulfill my social personality while still being able to balance my values and goals long-term.

One of my goals this year is to take better care of my hair and try to grow it out . Leaving my hair alone in wigs grew my hair out the most but caused a lot of breakage on the front of my head . What protective styles worked best for you? (I have 4C hair btw)

I just got into cross stitching a few weeks ago and started out with two kits! It's been a ton of fun! I'm still learning a lot though. I'm working on my third project and it's taking me a lot longer. I'm making more mistakes since I used a pattern rather than a kit. XD But I'm happy I finally started learning! I've been wanting to cross-stitch for ages so it's nice to pull the trigger and have a nice time.

2025.01.22 04:24 newownerofgroup How do you move on?
Honestly I don't even know where to start. Our relationship wasn't even technically a relationship, it was a situation ship of sorts. It was rather obvious we had feelings for each other, the glances across the room and the daily midnight talks just about life seem to just intensify my inability to move on. I believe it's been 4 months now and I can never fully get her out of my head. I believe whatever we had may of had a future if it wasn't for the inability to communicate, so now there's just an endless pit of what if's in my head. I'm so indecisive when it comes to moving on, one day it's "How didn't I see this sooner? Why didn't I leave?" and the next it's "I miss her laugh, the way her eyes would sparkle in the sunlight, and the warm hugs we shared." Any advice on how to move on and stop the indecisiveness? I've never experienced anything like what we had so I'm quite conflicted but everyone I've told our story to told me she was toxic.

É o seguinte, eu sou um cara de 17 anos heterossexual que valoriza muito a vida acadêmica. Entretanto, eu vejo que aos 16 passei a pensar muito sobre relacionamentos, eu tentei tanta coisa que daria uma história a parte, mas no final não deu certo, depois disso eu decidi que não queria mais ter relacionamentos, mas falar é fácil, eu penso nisso toda hora até doer minha cabeça como se eu me julgasse a todo momento. Enfim, eu quero dicas de como eu poderia tentar transcender o conceito de relacionamentos de uma forma que eu não sinta atração física e nem sexual por ninguém e muito menos sinta vontade. Eu farei isso pra dedicar a minha vida a outras coisas, já tentei algumas estratégias que até deram certo, mas não totalmente. Não mais que isso, agradeço.
Obs: não estou disposto a me medicar e não quero usar outros artifícios como endeusar femboys (que já dá outra história a parte) enfim, é isso :)

Hey Jammers! I have recently started playing again since I left for a while and I realized I missed the release of my FAVOURITE ANIMAL the sugar glider. I can't tell you how obsessed I am with using that guy in the play as your pet party and how long I've dreamed to play it freely.
