Hello!
I am considering getting my wisdom teeth out. The doctors do agree and say it’s about time, but I would like to know if there’s any other type of anaesthesia.
I’ve got the following options of
A injection & laughing gas (I’ve already got 4 teeth pulled out at 12 because of Invisalign, absolutely hated both appointments since the needle felt like a bug was crawling into my gums)
Some sort of IV, where I get put into a deep sleep.
General Anaesthesia, where they put a breathing tube and I basically go on machines for a couple hours.
I have chosen not to take the injection, but would like to know more about the IV. For example, will there be any pain after? Will it be an inpatient operation? They haven’t been very specific on the details of how it works, and before I make another appointment or go see them, I would like a bit more information.
Cost is not an issue since dental care is free in my province (Canada).

Hi all, just wanted some advice on the best way to pay off the mortgage quicker. I currently owe $335k and have $80k sitting in the offset, i think my minimum is around $2100 per month but paying $1600 a fortnight. Do i speak to by bank and have more come off the interest or principal or leave it the way it is and keep saving into the offset? Don’t really touch the offset but do plan to go on an overseas trip this year so will be dipping into this. Do i change anything or keep going the way I am? Cheers guys

So I (21 y/o F) have recently just started working out. I have never been active even as a kid. No sports or anything. I have noticed that when I am jogging on the treadmill I can only last about 20 seconds before my heart rate is 198+. Let's start from the beginning The way that I start is 15 minutes on the stair master with an average hr of 160ish. Then I start on the treadmill speed walking probably around 10 minutes with an average of still around 160. As soon as I turn the speed up and start jogging I can only last 20 seconds before I have to stop because I don't want my heart rate exceeding 200. Once I stop and go back to speed walking my heart rate goes back to 160ish. Should I keep going? Or is it more of a conditioning problem? I will say that l'm not tired when I jog i physically feel like I could continue going I just don't want to get my heart rate that high. Please give me advice on if that's normal or if I should see my doctor! Thank you!!

Hey, my 78 jazz bass bridge pickup sounds extremely thin to the point it sounds like it's coming thru an old transistor radio. Having both pickups on full then adjusting the bridge pickup volume has little to no effect on the tone. I fear it may be an open coil, though I haven't tested it yet w a multimeter.
I want to preserve the value of it as much as I can and am wondering what the best course of action is to get it to its best playing shape. I have a set of pickups out of my CIJ jazz laying around. Is it a no-no to put those in and just keep the OGs in the case? It's completely reversible and even if i decided to, say, have them rewound by Fralin or something, I'd have to resolder them anyway.
