(dont know if this counts as a crisis post or not, marked it as such to be sure)
this just happened, and it's almost 2am so i don't have anyone else to talk to. with all the ellction stuff i've been pretty on edge these past few days, especially with going to school and not knowing if i'll be safe or not (im a trans guy and highschoolers can be evil). my other conditions have also been flaring up, but my ocd has gotten much worse.
i already knew i wasnt gonna sleep well tonight, so i decided to put my earbuds in and blast music. then i had this thought that people were going to break in, which made me pretty scared so i closed my door and took my earbuds out. my cat was in my room but i realized my dog was in the living room, and after a few minuets of ruminating and working myself up i couldnt shake the image of my dog being held at gunpoint a room away from me. i'll spare the gory details but they were gory.
i went out, sobbing, and put our door stop under out front door to calm my mind and then made sure my dog was okay. obviously she was, and after doing some calm-down exerscises im now sitting with my comfort tea next to my dog wondering what to do from here. i had a panic attack in a resturaunt yesterday for no reason at all, and i really dont want this to be a pattern.
im thinking of asking my mom to think about medication for the ocd, but i feel like thats not all this is and springing all this on her and my doctor probably wouldnt go so well. this is the first time i've had symptoms like this and i'm just really in the dark on how to handle it. i know this probably won't get any replies cus im posting it so late and droning on but i just need to get this out there.

Ciao, a marzo andrò per la prima volta in Giappone.
So che c'è la possibilità di spedire le valige da hotel a hotel ma in quasi tutti quelli in cui soggiornerò non c'è la reception quindi non mi è possibile adottare questo metodo. Ho visto che si può fare anche da 7-Eleven a 7-Eleven (o simil convenience store) ma ho provato a guardare sul sito di yamato transport mi pare di aver capito che è possibile solo se si è registrati ma non son sicura.. Vorrei partire preparata, qualcuno si è trovato nella mia situazione? Sapete se si può spedire da convenience store a convenience store, e se si come?

Think about it. Their next podcast should be true crime, with their unique spin on it.
They can keep the exact same format, telling a story each, but they can choose the most obscure, bizzare and ridiculous crimes to keep the show from becoming too dark and serious.
Also they can tackle some unsolved crimes and come up with their own ridiculous theories.

My ROCD ruined my relationship with my now ex. I miss her everyday. And I feel so guilty. Basically me and her agreed to reducing and quitting antidepressants so I can get a better one. And me reducing gave me side effects. Pretty bad ones. Like mood swings, more anxiety, irritability, frustration, more ocd symptoms. Which made me fall into confessing my thoughts. I did my best to understand. And not say them. The circumstances were bad. This went on for 4 months. And she even told me she could not handle my thoughts and that I should not tell them. And I listened to that. And did my best. But during that time I did not even know what was OCD or not. I doubted everything. So I had no barrier. Before and after reducing and quitting I was good. I feel so much guilt.
Am I an emotional abuser? Abusers in my book do things with intentions of hurting someone and with intentions of controlling. I know she was still hurt. She would not leave if she wasn't. But I want to know that I'm not an abuser?

You’d be surprised how often you DON’T see meta characters in those modes. At least in my experience, I’ve rarely encountered teams that have more than one meta character. Everyone just seems to pick their favorite characters because we aren’t limited to the DP system, and I feel like everyone forgets this is how most people played BT3 in the past anyways.

My company is doing a trade show again this year. We’re figuring out if we should get swag, and if so, what people would actually want, use and keep. We cannot fathom spending money on cheap stuff that ends up in a landfill! It’s against my personal and company ethos.
Last year, we gave out cupcakes from a customer who donated them to us. But storage space always proves to be tricky and it’s good to switch it up.Anyone have any great ideas for swag that won’t be landfill fodder? <<<
We have a lot of retail & hospitality customers so my idea was to give out gift cards / coupons for in-store visits. We benefit from giving away something actually useful, the attendee benefits by saving money in a time when wallets are tight, and our customer benefit from the footfall.
Or is the best sustainable option no swag at all?
