I’ve narrowed my search down to two potential cars and I wanted some input before making the final decision. My budget was $15 K and I don't want to go too far above that, but unfortunately, the market in my area is tough. Here are the 2 options:
- 2017 Honda Accord Sport (2.4L i4)- 125K miles for $14,000 out the door
- High mileage car, clean title but 2 minor accidents. Car looked fine and inspected. The car has a great service history and was properly maintained (oil change every 5K miles). It also had the front & rear brake pads/rotors, Tires, Lower ball joints, antifreeze/coolant/brake fluid, headlights, brake lights, steering/suspension boots, Battery, and sway bars replaced at around 100K miles.
- 2019 Hyundai Sonata SEL (2.4L i4) - 37K miles for $17,710 out the door
- The car has a clean title, no accident history. It is also a certified pre-owned and I'd get it from the Hyundai dealership. It still has the 100K powertrain warranty. It has a great service history with regular oil changes. One tire was replaced. The sales rep also said he would tint the widows for $100, but I might decline that
As I see it now, the Sonata's $3700 price increase is justified with it having about 1/3 the miles of the Accord, but if I can save that money on a car known for its reliability, I think I should. Sorry if I rambled. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

2025.01.22 11:50 kashmira-qeel My first interesting encounter with a cheater in Seamless
I ran into someone using some cheats I've never seen before while invading on Seamless Co-Op yesterday. Ordinarily I find people with infinitely refilling HP or stamina, or who are invisible and/or flying.
They were around RL225 playing around in Stormveil with a low-level companion (whom I gifted 20 runes of Marika), using what was probably an arcane build with a bizarre mishmash of armor and weapons.
I first noticed this when I backstabbed them with a +25 magic misericorde with my 99 int character and dealt 150 damage. I then proceeded to stunt on them for a few minutes with my combo mage, hitting them repeatedly with spells and parries, but doing little in terms of damage. I then managed to lure them out onto the ramparts and they BHS'd off the edge (unfortunately I fell myself.)
I then got a second invasion fifteen minutes later and started actively teasing them, landing about five parries in a row and teabagging/pointing down as they struggled to do anything of substance to me. Eventually they pulled out RoB and I mistimed a parry and took a combo with low robustness armor and died. They triumphantly teabagged me right back, and I think they deserved that win after all the grief I must have caused them.
Third time I invaded and verified that they were still cheating I thought fair was fair and opened my own CE to merely turn off my characters hurtbox and just taunted them with gestures for a while until they grew bored of trying to kill me.
People are allowed to use cheats on Seamless, of course. It's a mod, and I don't care since most people want to enjoy the game as intended. But I am a bad red woman, and you can turn off invasions in the settings if you don't want me to come test your vigor.
If you cheat, you won't get to kill me. Usually I just leave, but for the future I might make a mocking gesture or two before-hand.

Hoping somebody can help me.
I’m earning £70k, working in London, and recently increased my pension contributions from the standard 5% to 12%.
This increase was done via salary sacrifice.
As part of this, I was expecting to see a reduction in tax and/or NI.
However, looking at my latest pay slip, both my tax and NI payments have stayed the same but my salary has gone down to increase my pension contributions.
The value that it’s gone down matches what my new contributions are - but my understanding was that there’d be an additional boost to my salary because I’d theoretically be getting paid a different salary.
Can somebody help me? Is this normal?

My Msi bravo 15 broke on october last year because the LCD broke. It was probably befause of the way that I kept it. They sent it to MSI HQ and it took them until JANUARY this year to fix it. I was on warranty but that still took long. Not even a month after I get it I have the same problem again, black screen on startup, nothing changes after an EC reset. I did take it to school today but even up to the last subject it was working alright (2 hrs ago). All I did was take the bus home and when I tried to open it, it just gave me the black screen. I'm really confident that I handled it with care, did the 3 month "fixing" that they did have any effect on this or are the screens really that easy to break?

2025.01.22 11:50 cpt_ppppp Spectrum analyser setup. What do you use?
I would like to have a full-time spectrum analyser setup, with output similar to what you see in the loopop videos. I find it so helpful to understand what the waveforms actually look like when I'm creating sounds!
My goal would be to connect to one of the output channels of my mixer and then connect a variety of inputs to the mixer that would be routed to the spectrum analyser. I would rather not use software as I like to go dawless regularly. I have an ipad mini that I don't use anymore that I would like to use if possible.
I use a variety of different hardware and software synths (Mother-32, neutron, microfreak, pigments, ableton live...)
Let's hear what you use and what your ideal setup would be!
