I met the the Gnosis Pay Team at Devcon in Bangkok and was immedietely stoked, about a self custodial safe connected to a mastercard in early November. Awesome! But since then it got weird.
I order it straight after Devcon - spoiler: it didn't arrive. I reached out to customer service - they been nice but very wage - promissed to send a second one. After a month it still hasn't arrived - I reached out again - same story - we send you another one.
I am not sure this project is real anymore. I ordered a less interesting Ledger CL card. The virtual one was ready same day, the physical one came a week later by mail - immediately.
Am I just unlucky? Do they have issues they try to hide? Or do they have so much funding that they just create cool projects on paper and can't be bothered to excute them?

Hi everyone. I (28f) am making a plan to start a completely new life in a completely new location with completely new people, a new job, a new home and a new personality. I have lived in a quiet town for the past 28 years where everyone knows everyone, nothing changes, there is no diversity or culture, it is just not the place I want to spend another 5 years. I went through some pretty down moments at the end of last year and ended a relationship that I am only just bouncing back from. I am going to do the 75hard challenge (which I did last year and it changed my life) and in that time I’m going to sell everything I own including my car, get into an amazing routine of fitness again, find a new job in a new city and relocate by May. I’m very nervous but excited as I have never done anything like this before but I am not getting any younger. Has anyone here done something like this before?
P.s I know it sounds dramatic but I feel like I’ve had an epiphany and cannot grow as a person here anymore.

I looked through the comments. Most were supportive, but even some of the supportive ones were a little backhanded/unconsciously biased.
I also saw where you said you were around around 200-ish. When I met my spouse, he was around 300. He's doing well on weight loss, but honestly, I'm going to miss some of the features that will diminish. But he'll be happier that way, and that's important.
But what stood out to me most was the instant defensiveness in most of your replies. The way you talk about yourself betrayed the deep-seated self-loathing I've seen in many of my fat friends/partners. Hell, I've never weighed more than 180 at 6'3", but when I was grappling with suicidal ideation borne from self-loathing, I couldn't keep anybody around me.
It is hard to love someone or want to spend time with someone when you can tell they hate themselves. Even if the time spent is well spent, self-hatred is a dense toxic fume; it sits at the floor, but the room will fill with it.
I don't know you well enough to give more specific advice, but I didn't start to believe that my good qualities outweighed my bad ones until I got to therapy.
Something must change in your life. Maybe it is truthfully your weight, but it is easier to change your mindset than your body. It is easier to overlook physical "flaws" (fat is neither bad nor good; American diet culture has poisoned us all), but it's hard to spend time with someone who hates themselves.

Hi, this little thing still bugs me. So in Season 4, Sea Tunt Part 1, Pam is relishing in the seafood Buffet. Which Cheryl informs her is cruelty free and made of Soy.
Pam then Tells Cecil how she's really enjoying it despite her allergy and just hopes he has an epipen on the plane.
Then! Season 11 EP 3, Helping Hands.... Mallory brings Seafood leftovers from lunch after Sterling ditches her. Cheryl starts to eat it and then choking and saying she's allergic to Seafood. Mallory then informs her that it's Pam allergic to Seafood.
However Pam's Allergy is Soy, not Seafood. I'm I missing something?

Would like to see if anyone else has had this experience...
1-2 years ago I purchased a few Airthings air quality monitoring units. Have never made a login to thier system ever. When I used the app, I was able to get past the login screen and use the app to directly access my Airthings devices one at a time and see current and historical trend charts.
Its been several months since I have tried to access my Airthings devices as I took them down to complete a 1st floor remodel of my house that took most of 2024. Now that everything is back to normal, I decided to look at my air quality stats now that the units have been operating with new batteries for >1 month.
To my suprise, the app will not let me get past a required login page to directly access my air quality devices. This morning I have had several back and forth emails with Kylie from Airthings support. None of the emails with Kylie acknowledge that this capability was taken away and feel like they were avoiding the direct question of when was this capability taken away in the app.
When I was first hunting around for an air quality device to purchase 2 years ago, the ability to access the data without being forced into a signup was one of my main criteria. Now I feel like I have been functionalty locked out of the devices (my property) I have paid for long ago.

Trying to sanity check myself before I send this experience to Luis Rossman to see if he would like to post about it as yet another example of companies altering the terms of use after the sale, and hijacking my Airthings to hide them behind their corperate walled garden to access.

For context, I’m in England, I’m technically self-employed, though sub-contracted by a large company for the last year. Communication is mostly through WhatsApp in a group chat or directly to line managers, area managers, etc.
I’ve recently complained in my work group chat about the number of broken promises and lies we’ve been told. The message was perfectly cordial, I wasn’t cursing people out or anything. The issue that sparked this was that I had been told I would be paid £x for a certain type of job. I’ve been doing these jobs for weeks on the assumption I would be paid £x. Then I got a call today saying that actually they are paying less than that for that type of job so im due far less than I expected. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the things this company gets away with.
Another colleague wrote a message in the group chat after reading mine, even more nicely worded than mine. One of the managers then deleted the whole conversation and said that any issues need to be raised privately to my manager (I already had raised it with him and nothing happened).
My question is this: is it legal to allow free speech only in private? Is it not a right to be able to express these concerns in front of my colleagues?

For the past 1.5 years, I’ve been learning about perfumes, particularly how to create them. I've gone through countless iterations and have improved my skills over time. After seeing the rise of inspired fragrances and the loopholes in the market, I’m planning to start my own line of inspired perfumes. One major issue I’ve noticed with many companies and local shops is the use of low fragrance concentrations to cut costs and the absence of maturation time, which results in subpar perfumes. Despite this, people still buy them, and I’m not sure why.
I want to approach things differently. First, I plan to use the highest quality perfume oils, even if it means higher costs. Second, I’ll use a 35-40% fragrance oil concentration and let it mature to bring depth and clarity to fragrance. Lastly, I’ll ensure the fragrance lasts longer and has better diffusion. This approach will be more expensive and time-consuming, but the end product will be much better.
In terms of pricing, ₹699 for a 50ml bottle is reasonable, and I’m confident I can deliver a great product. However, I need about 10 days to produce a single order. As a student, I don’t have the funds to invest in inventory upfront, so I’m planning to take a made-to-order approach.
