2025.01.22 15:53 JimmerNegamanee Humidifier Suggestion
Like many others here - I come seeking advice.
We are currently running three (qty 3) Levoit 300S Smart UltraSonic Humidifiers placed around in our home. Approx 2000 sq ft. We have HARD water - and recently replaced a failed water softener with a new one..which softens the water drastically. As such, we definitely now are noticing the 'white dust' from our units...and realizing it's probably not a good thing to be breathing in, either for us or for our 9month old. Let alone having to clean up the dust constantly.
In doing A LOT of reading here and online, definitely seems like an evaporative humidifier would be our best route to go with. I understand these are going to be louder than the ultrasonics...and am okay with that. If we go with a single unit, we'd like put it not near our sleeping area to prevent any issues with noise.
Seeking thoughts and or suggestions on a good evaporative humidifier - or even a couple to do the whole home (2 levels). The Levoit 6000S seems like a perfect fit because it's the same platform we've been running - but curious what everyone else's thoughts are on that one vs. a Vornado Evap40 or other units?

Pentru ca în 35 de ani acei indivizi nu au avut altă grijă decât să își construiască un bunker legal din care nu pot fi extrași. Va încerca, va avea procese pe care “oamenii onești, muncitori” le vor câștiga. Hârtii importante vor fi rătăcite sau uitate în setare. Și … cine va răspunde ca primarul? S.a.m.d.

Before, they were on the outside, but i thought it might work on the inside also? I ordered a PE ETB the morning of release from GAME and paid the £4.99 in shipping. Was told it will be delivered tomorrow when my order was confirmed. I haven't received any order updates, the order was no longer in my order history and the product page is gone (or at least I can't find it). I just reached out to their customer service who told me they don't have the stock for my order and don't know when it'll be delivered. They couldn't even give me a timeline which makes me think it'll be at least another few months if I don't cancel.
Has anyone else had this happen? It's my first time ordering from GAME and I don't think I'll be doing it again.

I have jumped from DFAS to DFAS employee on this endless phone call to talk to the right person with no resolution. I was medically discharged in 2021 and receive severance separation pay. They let me know my VA disability would be shorted monthly to repay that severance pay. I’ve never gotten a statement or any information on what’s left to be repaid. I have a resources to repay my severance in full so I can stop getting the discounted 100% VA Disability Pay. Does anyone know a link or phone number or method for me to check this?

If the challenges don't force you to go with a population over 4 or 5, are you trying to get a third warrior on brutal difficulty?
Clearing zombie zones with two warriors when zombies are harassing my settlement from multiple sides is a pain in the ass.
But it seems to me that getting enough resources and building enough services to support a population of 7 is even more of a struggle under the time pressure.

Ladies, how are we responding to doctor’s intake questions, specifically regarding menstration, now that the far-right are in control? As a woman who is left leaning and advocates for bodily autonomy I am concerned with the government overreaching and requiring doctors to give out personal information… am I just living in fear from my reading of project 2025? Every time I have been asked when my last period is I hesitate and try to not answer, especially when the physicians asking are not my OBGYN. The nurses doing the initial intake have always been women and seem confused by my hesitation. Today when I tried to leave it at “my cycle is regular and I’m not pregnant” she persisted so I made up a date. But I’m curious what other women are doing and experiencing?

My cousin just called me and told me that the railway recruitment forms are out. It's a government job, and he suggested I should fill it too. But I honestly have no idea about it. Can anyone explain what it is, what the exam format is like, and the types of posts available? What roles do people get after clearing popular posts? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
I only know that after clearing the exam, people often get posted in remote areas. I currently live in Mumbai and am a bit used to city life. So, is it possible to get a job in a city?
Also, how should I start preparing? Are there any good online courses or platforms you recommend? Which books should I refer to? Is there any reliable test series I can use? Hi y'all. Wanted to get everyone's opinion on something I saw on Facebook from International Ride Training (ride operations 3rd party consulting company). They posted that SFMM is now iROC certified. I know as a previous ride op at CP (albeit briefly), the legacy CF parks are iROC certified. So I am thinking that due to the merger they are going to get the legacy SF parks certified. I have heard this can reduce operations efficiency. Thoughts (especially from former ride ops)???
