Hi all, I have fallen in love with finger style guitar from Elizabeth cotton, Doc Watson, Merle Travis, some Chet Atkins and Etta Baker.
This style/genre of music is hard for me to categorize. It’s like a hybrid of old school country, blues and folk. What’s the best name for this genre? And who are some other artists that play guitar like this?
I would actually love any suggestions that are even vaguely similar to this music - in spirit or technique. I am trying to develop this fingerpicking technique on some different tunes. I am learning “do I ever cross your mind” now, which feels a little less bluesy.

In my previous post i mentioned that i was worries that my parents found i was pan and a furry. Turn out that wasnt what i shoukd be worried about!
There is this guy who i was 'friends' with (up until today) who is fairly homophobic (as a joke) and racist (as a joke) (yes this is unacceptable but if i pretend im friends with him he wont fucking bully me for being pan) and i legt the room i was in for a bit. I left my sketchbook open when he walked in and guess what he saw! So now he knows im a furry (hes an 'antifurry') and he will most likely try and ruin my school life for it!

My right nosestrills is all stuffed. No cough nothing. But it is just stuffed. When i inhale and exhale little fast i can feel something getting sucked inside when i inhale and it feel like getting thrusted out when exhale. It happened to me last time 6 months before there was no cough and cold. But it get good on its own after almost 2 months then again it happened same 2nd time. It affect my only right nosestrills. I want to know is it really NasalPolyps or something else 🙏🙏 ant one suffering can confirm it by my symptoms. And last nasal drops dont work or steaming its always same stuffed.

That is not enough anymore. I live in Plainsboro, and am wondering if there are any organizations I can get involved with to advocate and assist change or volunteer my time.

I’ve read some good leftist books but am on the hunt for more, so any reading lists would be appreciated.
