I recently posted in a local Facebook group that I was in need of a job. A local woman replied, telling me that she worked for a company named CARTA. She sent me lots of detailed info pertaining to this position. She then gave me a code to use for the Microsoft teams app that would supposedly put me in contact with the hiring managers.
Once in the chat with CARTA, the person on the other end informed me they were Peter Walker. This could not have been true. They then conducted a short interview with me sending voice messages for my answers. Then, they sent me a picture of the equipment I was supposed to receive for this “payroll assistant” job. The website they sent me was officialcarta.com which is not the real website, and full of typos/random capitalization. These people never even saw my resume.
Then of course, they claimed the only way to pay me was by electronic check and they needed my bank username and password/account info so they could get into my account and deposit it. Just ridiculous, must have thought I was born yesterday. No legit company hires anyone with out an interview/resume, within a day, after 5 pm, without seeing you on a video call, etc. I’ve never heard of such a thing for “payment method.” I declined the offer and blocked them. If anyone else out there is suggested to this company, please take my experience into account and block them right away. CARTA is a legitimate company, but they have scammers impersonating them.

I'm not sure of the reason, but I feel that the players love the club more than the club love the player. Already seen this with Goretzka. Refused to leave the club even when he was told he wasn't part on the plan. There are murmurs about Sane taking a pay cut just to stay at Bayern. I just hope he puts in a shift even after getting a new contract. Also seen this with Tel as well. Turned down a move to Chelsea!

So I was doing my interview for this small liberal arts college in Boston called Haverford. My interviewer was this 25 or so year old graduate, and boy was she smoking hot. On occasion I got caught staring in places I wasn’t supposed to.
Now the interview was going pretty well. I whipped through my ECs and she seemed to like my personality. We talked politics and she seemed to love my opinions. Every time I answered a question she flicked her hair back behind her head and was like moving in slow motion. I thought I might be a shoo-in. Not to mention I have a pretty good, athletic build that I thought she fw.
See, everything was going amazing. Unfortunately, that was until she asked me the dreaded question: “what is your biggest weakness?”
Now, I’m sure you have a lot of guesses. But being the A2C gooner that I am, I said “not being able to talk to girls.”
She responded, “well, at least you’re talking to one right now.” And that’s where it all went wrong.
Over the next 30 seconds, I asked her on a date, unbuttoned my collar, and moved next to her and put my arm around her. I didn’t kiss her like the Yale guy, but she still threw me off and said “ew.”
She walked out right after. What do I do? Should I send a follow up reiterating my interest?
TLDR: interviewer asked me a tough question and I’m not sure I gave the best answer. Am I cooked?

The previous editor I used (Scenery) shut down a couple months ago, and I haven't been able to find a fully capable video editor since. Below are some things I'm looking for in a video editor;
-Available without Linux
-No or Small Watermark
-Free
-Stock photo/video integration
-Autosave feature
-Ability to stack many clips
-No video length limit in free version (or export limit per month)
I'm open to trying anything, if nothing else works I'll suck it up and deal with Clipchamp. Used elevate.io for a second but it doesnt have stock video integration and limits the amount of clips you can stack at once. Extra points if it allows you to copy photos straight into the editor without downloading them first

I’m a RN & posted this in nurisngAU subreddit, but I would love to get some opinions from your perspective on here!
I work at a private hospital in Melbourne on a surgical ward. I genuinely love my job I have a great managecoworkers, and live nearby. My only frustration is- the abundance of unnecessary paperwork, & the problems it causes.
There are so many assessment/history forms to fill out, and most of them are just copy-pasted versions of the patient's history that I have to waste time handwriting. It feels pointless and takes precious time away from providing actual patient care.
Not to mention some doctors&surgeons handwriting is unreadable, so I'm often left struggling to figure out what's written in my patients notes. Important paperwork is constantly getting misplaced, pt transfers delayed, consent forms & other forms missing, errors made ect. It's so frustrating seeing all the time and resources wasted just trying to stay on top of all the paperwork.
Whenever I pick up an agency shift in a hospital with EMR I feel so relieved. Everything is centralized, I can actually read the patient's notes and I'm not stuck handwriting pages of forms. I'm way less stressed and can focus on my patients.
I guess I just needed to vent, but l'm also curious if anyone knows- are there plans to phase out paper based hospitals anytime soon? At this point, l'm genuinely considering looking for a job in a paperless hospital because this is driving me nuts. Thank u if you read this far.

So I'm planning on upgrading my Tab A7 to the S9FE. I don't need it right now though so I'm looking for the best price. Apparently the S10FE will be released in the first half of 2025, so I assume the older model will be discounted heavily once that happens?
In Australia, the price at the official Samsung site is $750 but most stores have recently discounted it to $550 (getting rid of the soon-to-be old model maybe?). Should I expect a bigger discount once the S10FE releases or should I just snap it up now?
