2025.01.22 19:15 Aphex0005 Opponent used bounce and was still affected by Toxic
Wasn't sure if this was the best place to ask but something unexpected happened while playing Pokemon X today. On turn 1 my opponents Mienshao moved first and used bounce. My Amoongus used Toxic, and after expecting it to miss, it somehow connected. I was under the impression that Bounce is the same as fly.
Is there an explanation or ability that I'm not aware of or was this a bug of some sort? so confused by this

2025.01.22 19:15 Haunting_Noodle Babywise
Has anyone read this book? I have a 6 week old and read it recently, I started implementing some of the suggested routines and have noticed a huge difference in baby’s naps and sleep. They are very consistent in time and length.. it’s a lot of work to constantly be on the lookout for babies cues. I can finally shower, make a meal, and even watch some TV since I know when he will be most likely up to feed and then wake/sleep.
Wanted to get some other people’s perspective that have tried this method. Anything to watch out for as they get older?

Jordan Jaxon is a 20 something rich kid who lives on the fast lane(literally, he’s a street racer). One night, while in a race, he gets into an accident and totals his car which injures both his legs. Jordan’s father who’s a billionaire industrialist, suggested to give his son a serum that would be able to make him walk again(think super soldier serum). Soon after, the procedure was a success, Jordan can walk again. But, the serum gave him superhuman speed as well as durability.
Jordan’s dad wants to profit of his son’s newfound abilities, making him a sponsored Superhero, Overdrive. Jordan doesn’t like the idea of dangerous scenarios created by his father that will make him a mascot for his father’s job. This decision will test Jordan to take the responsibility of being a hero seriously and not do it for the fame.

To preface this, I'm not nearly as active on FF as I used to be, due to some fairly serious medical reasons. I believe the last thing I posted was to complete an unfinished story on 2023. So I'm mostly a reader now.
Between completing the aforementioned story and the present day I have recurve PMs from complete strangers that run along the same lines. They complement my work, sometimes mentioning a specific story, then say they're an artist and would like to draw illustrations for me.
The first time I got this kind of PM I replied with my usual statement: thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you liked the story. Since these are fan fictions I have no problem with anyone who wants to draw scenes they like. Just if you post it somewhere link back to the story and name me as the author.
They replied back, and that's when they clarified things: "My prices are reasonable."
When did this become a thing? I do not know them in any way, did not approach them for art, and they were asking for money from me for something I never asked for in the first place! (Sorry for the mini rant, this just ruined me wrong on many levels. I have way more vital things i need money for, and to much stress and anxiety, to deal with this nonsense. )
I had to tell them rather forcefully "I am not interested in paying for something I never asked for in the first place." them blocked them.
Since then, I get one or two such PMs monthly. I put a note at the top of my profile that I am not interested under any circumstances. I block and report every PM in sent. But it still keeps happening.
Is there something more I should be doing?
