Me and my friend are currently playing his first run. And now that he feels more at ease with it, he's looking forward to another run. I helped him build a Warlock/Paladin build, as he mainly likes weapons but likes Magic as an option as well, plus you get the extra attack stack form blade pact.
But for me, thats as far as I know that has a good weapon/magic mix build. I suggested Tempest Cleric for his LI (Minthara) as it gets Heavy Armor and Weapon profs plus good spells as well.
One idea I had was probably Swords Bard. As its about weapons and gives some good spells. Possibly Fighter 2/ Bard 10. Gives him armoweapon profs, magical secrets, as well as action surge.
But are there any other or better ones? Open to subclass/class mods as well. Debated on a Warlock one too, I know of one that lets you bind ranged weapons as well.

I know Out of the Abyss exists for example but it's also not quite what I'm looking for.
What I would like is an adventure or mega-dungeon scale location that has players starting down below and trying to work their way to the surface; Something like the book "City of Ember" comes to mind where there is a reason people have gone into the earth, but might have forgotten in the many years they've been down there.
Is there anything like that out there to give me something to build off of? I don't mind if its a different edition or a different game system altogether if it gives me a solid base to work with.

Mitchell in the last 5 years is averaging 30/5/5 on 60% TS in the playoffs. He has had some bad series but there aren't many people scoring at this clip. Against the Celtics (Cavs biggest rival in the East) he had 32 ppg on 52% FG before getting hurt. He can easily be the best scorer on a championship team
Compared to the Hawks being led by Jeff Teague who even Garland is better than much less Mitchell, and then you have Paul Millsap and Demarre Carroll who, while underrated, are not better than Mobley and Jarrett Allen either

2025.01.22 19:45 L0KI_MO Finally about to start Infinite Wealth after seeing the game finally made me get into the series and I am so excited!
Sorry there isn't really a major reasoning for this post but I just don't have any friends who play these games at all so I just wanted somewhere to share my excitement! I've always been interested in the Yakuza games and thought they looked cool but never start my journey in playing until I saw the trailers and gameplay for Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza that made me finally jump in since they just looked right up my alley and the vibes looked amazing. I've spent the last few months catching up on the games and they have been a blast and this is by far my new favourite game series of all time! I just got the platinum for Gaiden and I plan on platinuming both Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza. Anyway sorry this was just my giddy post for the game and I have a feeling that Infinite Wealth will take the crown as my favourite of the series!

My grandpa used to be a logger. The baddest man I know. Every single day of his life I always seen him wake up in the morning and move on with his day like he’s invincible. Cigarette in the mouth and a 20” bar chainsaw in his hands. I would go log with him in my early teens and bring home firewood every week.
Now his heart is failing and he doesn’t have a lot of time to live. What are some questions you regret not asking a hardcore man who lived his life like an iron fist? What things do you wished you could’ve talked about before he passed? Religion? His will to live? His outlook on life? Anything. I appreciate your comments.

2025.01.22 19:45 Hoates-101 Pacific Energy Summit Classic - over fire
Has anyone had this stove over fire? I've had the PE Summit for 4 years, using it regularly. I've often felt the stove doesn't damper down as much as I want for a slow overnight burn. Cold night predicted Last night, I stuffed it with well seasoned oak and went to bed. As I was drifting off to sleep my son commented "whoa the stove is really hot" I got up to double check it was damped down (it was). The flue thermometer was above the normal operating temperature and rising. I was concerned but went back to bed thinking I'd check it in 15 minutes. Checked it again and the temp had not gone down but plateaued and the whole stove was glowing red. Put a fan next to the stove to cool/ transfer heat and checked back in half an hour. The stack temp had gone down some at this point but the stove was still glowing red hot. I lost some sleep and am now wondering if something was wrong or am I being paranoid and loosing sleep for no reason.
What do you think wood stovers?

Comprei meu primeiro carro, um Clio 2011. Paguei bem abaixo da FIPE porque tinha umas coisas pra resolver que eu fui resolvendo aos poucos.
A única coisa que falta resolver, e que me incomoda muito, é que ele é aro 14, mas o "estepe" dele é aro 15. Inclusive nem encaixa no lugar dele, fica meio pra cima no assoalho do porta malas. Além de eu ficar sem estepe caso precise, ainda perco um espação na mala (que já não é muito grande). Eu acho que o antigo proprietário do carro perdeu ou sei lá o que ele fez com o estepe, mas arranjou qualquer roda e largou na mala só pra passar na vistoria.
Minha dúvida é: que tipo de estabelecimento eu posso ir pra tentar resolver esse problema da maneira menos custosa possível? Quero ver se alguém troca essa roda aro 15 por uma 14 pra mim. Vou num borracheiro? Numa loja de pneus? Ferro velho? Mecânico?

As you can see the main stem droops and loops back up to the stake I have in the pot. This particular plant was much bushier in the past but over time became what you see here. I am wondering if and how to do a hard restart on it. The leaves behind the stake as you can see are thick and healthy resting up against the wall. I am nervous to make a cut and unsure where if at all to do it. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers.

Sin embargo, por algún motivo la palabra “cuerda” no fue la que me vino a la cabeza cuando estaba contando la historía, sino la palabra “ropa”, porque se parece a la palabra en inglés: “rope”. Entonces lo que le dije fue que había dos tipos de rocódromos: los donde tienes que utilizar ropa y los sin ropa.
Nada más pronunciar las palabras me di cuenta de mi error y solté una carcajada, pero sí que fue un momento vergonzoso. Afortunadamente, los momentos en los que pasamos mucha vergüenza suelen ser los momentos de los que más aprendemos.
