A while back I got a tattoo with a bit of color incorporated. All my previous ones have all been just black up until this point. I initially liked the idea of color—duh, I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise—but now I'm beginning to feel like it clashes with all of my fully black tattoos.
The color in my tattoo isn't filling/shading, it's a portion of the lineart, making it half-black, half-green. I'm wondering if, since it's just lineart, anything can be done. Like, is it maybe possible to just go over it with black? Or would that be difficult/affect the overall design? Because I'm very happy with the tattoo otherwise, it's just that I wish the green was black. The lineart in this particular piece is pretty thin and detailed, so would trying to go over it ruin it?

2025.01.22 22:14 rose_thorn_ False low TSH reading (Hashimoto's)
Wondering if anyone else has experienced an assumed falsely low TSH reading and had it impact their treatment/been able to argue for a retest.
For some background, I first had my TSH tested back in 2022 after a bout of random but noticeable hair loss; I've also since experienced ongoing symptoms that can be explained by hypothyroidism (25 lb+ weight gain in a few years despite being active & healthy, can't seem to lose it, fatigue and excessive yawning, shortness of breath, no libido, changing skin texture and discoloration, etc).
At that time, my TSH was 3.18 and antibodies were at 85 (normal is below 35). I had another round of blood tests done in September 2024 during my annual physical; then, my TSH was 6.18, so I was referred to an endo and had my appointment a few weeks ago in January - with this round of bloodwork, my antibodies are even higher at 115 (hashimoto's is considered anything above 100), but my TSH was down to 3.25. Additionally, my testosterone levels were next to nothing which was the first time those were tested but shocking to see so low.
Doctor finally reviewed my bloodwork and shared back notes today and it says that while I have hashimoto's, they recommend no treatment because my TSH is "normal". I had a viral infection about 2 weeks before the bloodwork that persisted for a while and am reading that could have given a false low - wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have also taken biotin supplements in the past but I'm not great with consistent vitamins and hadn't taken any in at least 5-7 days before the bloodwork since I knew that could impact results. I'm waiting for my doctor's office to open tomorrow to be able to contact them but want to advocate for another round of bloodwork - just looking to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

AITA I am someone who is sexually active, I feel it’s pretty normal to have sex with someone you love. He has been having issues performing as well as he used to and it’s getting to me. I feel we can’t do any positions minus missionary or reverse if I ride him. That’s already bad as it is because my favorite is doggy. He is a bigger man he’s about 350 lbs and I’m 310. I feel like this doesn’t help my insecurities about my body. It makes me feel like maybe he’s not as attracted to me even tho he’s affectionate. And compliments me I’m feeling lost here as to what to do. I also feel her neglects his health.
I don’t know what to feel anymore, he has said he feels uncomfortable with himself and the issue isn’t me. But I feel when you say you want to marry someone don’t you feel like you want to be open with that person.

Hope this is allowed! We started giving my boy this Olewo dehydrated carrot stuff with his food because 3 out of 4 his poops were loose and inconsistent. Worked like a charm! Thought I would suggest to all of you in case any of you struggle with the famous Yorkie sensitive tummies/digestion problems. It’s just carrot and there’s a ton of it, as you only need like 1/2 teaspoon for small dogs. Got it on Amazon, hoping they’ll start carrying on chewy too.

I’m 23F, and my sister is 15. We’ve never really gotten along, and the 8-year age gap has always made things more difficult. Recently, though, her behavior has become unbearable. The way she talks—what she says, how she says it—is just excruciatingly rude and inappropriate. She’ll make disgusting comments or snarky little remarks constantly.
The issue is, my mom lets her get away with everything. There’s zero discipline in place, and her entitlement has gotten out of control. My sister was even pulled out of in-person schooling because her behavior was so bad, yet my mom still gives her whatever she wants. Any discipline she gets is microscopic at best.
On top of that, my sister is obsessed with her VR headset and playing VRChat. For those of you familiar with it, the community there is a mix of kids and adults, and there’s really no line separating them. You’ll see kids as young as 5-10 chatting with adults over 30. Considering how obsessed she is with it, I can only imagine the kind of stuff she gets into with strangers online.
I get it—teens can be rebellious and mouthy, but she constantly crosses the line. Today we got into it again because, once more, she had to throw in some unnecessary snide comment. My mom jumped to her defense, as usual, and even turned the whole thing on me. She called me immature for “starting something” when all I was trying to do was correct my sister’s behavior.
At this point, I’m just done. I know she’s young and doesn’t fully understand the weight of her actions yet, but she absolutely should know better by now. My mom raised her completely differently than she did me, and it shows especially in the way she talks to adults. It’s just disgusting. Any advice would be appreciated :-)
