I seriously need help my family is starving and I don’t know what else to do I’ve done everything it seems! For starters I’m pregnant and expected to supply a house of 4 sometimes 5 people! I need help! I applied for food and cash assistance last Monday. All week last week and this week I have been calling and they’ve been escalating but I cannot for the life of me get an interview! I’m not sure what to do anymore! I called today and was promised I’d get a call by the end of the day (they’ve been making this promise for two weeks) and once again as expected, no call. I called about 3:30 pm to see what’s going on and they tell me once again they cannot do anything until tomorrow. They say that they cannot escalate until tomorrow. Is escalation even doing anything or are they just dicking me around?! I seriously need help I tried a food pantry but that only helps so much when you have two men that eat like pigs in the house and on top of that are hungry all the time due to being pregnant. HELP PLEASE!!! Any advice I am BEGGING yall cuz if I can’t manage this I’m screwed on everything….

Looking down the barrel at a forced retirement at my early 60s from my IT job. 401Ks are not where I am supposed to be. SS is about a year away and will not amount to anything even though I paid at the top level for more than 2 decades. Living in a small-ish North TX town. More than anything else, I will be bored out of my mind if I don't do something. At this age, getting hired in my profession (infosec) is a dream.
What does people in my situation at this stage of life do to generate some additional income ?

2025.01.22 22:11 rpgyumyum Nextcloud Desktop Client Fails to Sync - Unknown Error

Hey,
I'm having trouble with my Nextcloud setup. The desktop client refuses to sync with the server, I get an "Uknown Error" in my desktop client. All the other functionality on my cloud works except for the syncing. The syncing also doesnt work for other users.
This issue arrised after i backed up the VM where nextcloud was running and restored it again after updating my Hypervisor. Everything worked before, the only thing that changed is the servers ip which shouldnt matter since literally everything works thru the web-portal.

Hello, any advice or help please Ati accused me of obstructing the camera while taking the test, I took the test on my iPad because when I paid for the test, I didn’t know that I couldn’t use chrome because I’ve always used my chrome computer to take every other test on lockbrowser at school and it has always worked and I had an Apple iPad I have never had to use my iPad to take a test so I was not sure how Lockbrowser worked on it and before taking the test, I tested it twice to make sure everything was OK. I even purposely blocked my hand with the camera while testing it out and it stopped the test saying it couldn’t see me that’s how I know everything was fine and if you know anything about testing on LockDown browser you know if u look away or if your hand is blocking anything it stops your test and doesn’t allow you to continue until it can see your face and there was also a live proctor there because the first few minutes before I took the test I couldn’t get in because I had a jacket on and something on my head (bonnet) with these two things, I don’t know how I could’ve obstruct the camera without having my test being stopped and throughout my test, it never did or said anything once I wouldn’t even been able to finish because lockbrowser will not have let me continue, If it does not see my face I filed a claim and I got denied and they won’t tell me why it was denied. I called ati and they told me to just email ATI security and ask for why, I did and still nothing. I literally don’t know what to do i wouldn’t do anything this stupid to jeopardize me getting into nursing school and now I just feel like all my sleepless night was for nothing, I don’t even know if I have it in me to take it again and waste another 127 dollars any advice is appreciated thankss

2025.01.22 22:11 BEACHBUM_DEV How do I make game models for my game and keep it so they all look like they should be together?

I enjoy art and making games, however I have a lot of trouble trying to keep one style throughout the game. I feel like it's difficult for me to have all the textures/models in a game look like they go together, and I'm not sure how other indie games do it, such as the binding of isaac or terraria or mouthwashing. I am aware that for pixelated games, you need to keep the same amount of pixels per texture, otherwise the textures will look weird, but how would this apply to character models or stylized games like okami?
Do these games keep reference sheets to what a thing can or cannot look like, kind of like how the simpsons gives it's animators a handbook to what a character should generally look like? Any advice is much appreciated!
