I (23F) plead to a high BAC charge and the court said they wouldn’t request a removal of my license but it was up to the Secretary of State. Long story short I am getting my license suspended for 45 days and I will have to have an interlock for a yearestricted license after I file a petition. I have never had any prior criminal history- not even a speeding ticket. I was wondering if I could get it removed early? Or avoid needing it installed all together? What does this process look like? Please help!

So I recently decided to switch my bio for health sci program to the criminology, law and society program. My future plan is to get into law school and thought that this program would be a great opportunity to gain some knowledge considering it’s something i’m passionate in.
For those who are/were in the program, how is it overall? any tips and are there any opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge in the program? A lot of people raised eyebrows when I told them I switching to this program, but I don’t understand the issue or why that was the case.

Yellow is frolic. New purple department opening up. Purple is a mix of blue and red- malice and woe- possibly pointing to a transition spare from (green) dread. Yellow balloon people have pointed out- but the other side of the break room has a purple ballon light near the exit.

I have a kinedyne SL it’s 750watts 1hp. It needs 220v with the regular North American configured outlet. I’m renting and also a student not really trying to fork out the money for an electrician. I’ve seen these 220volt quick connects and was thinking about building my own. 2x 12 gauge running from two 110 volt outlets on different breakers and phases into one outlet. Hard to find a 220volt outlet that has regular 110volt plug in configuration(I understand why). So I was just gonna use an outlet rated for 110volts consider my machine will only be pulling a max of 4amps.
I’d only be plugging it in when I’m around sewing, probably an hour at a time. How stupid is this? Am I gonna start a fire? Behind dry wall or just at my sketchy 220volt outlet? What does a broke student do to figure this out?

My 2018 Hyundai tuscon (which I absolutely loved) was stolen and I decided it's time for a new car even if I get her back. She had 100k miles and was burning oil so maybe a blessing in disguise. All options I'm deciding between are non-hybrid.
Trying to decide between 2022-2024 RAV4, 2024 Mazda CRX, or Honda CRV (haven't looked into this option as much so don't know which year I want).
I'm test driving this weekend and already feel like I'm leaning towards the RAV4, but have been seeing reviews about it driving like a tin can, noisy and not as stable ride as other options. I live in a mountainous and snowy place so need to make sure whatever I get is reliable and handles well in snow. Any advice from owners or people who have these cars?
Would love to get another Hyundai but they are extremely targeted in my area and I'm not risking this traumatizing experience happening again lol.

Im trying to find a book i read when i was younger. It was some sort of magical teen romance book, i read it about 2012 or 2013 but it might not have come out around that time, it could have bin earlier. The biggest things i can remember, is that there was a scene in it where a girl used magic to turn a brick into a cookie, and she fed it to a man on the street, and later on they saw that guy dead on the street because the magic wore off and the cookie turned into a brick again. I can also remember one of the love interests was an orc or some other meta human who can change his shape? I also vaguely remember magic could come from, or primarily came from, some sort of needle based drug or something of the like? And the cover of the book resembled twilights, in that i think it was an object surrounded by darkness.

I thought I would never get friends, now I am in college undergrad and i feel everything has changed completely, i have got a lot of friends and i am kinda popular in my college now 😭.
