there's so much and so little to say on here lol i want someone who gets me immediately, who understands and is on the same page as me with life in general, i live on the west coast USA but ive lived all over and am considering moving soon again, i have a 7 month old chihuahua and a 12 yr old cockapoo i love dogs, i work in education and have a BA in english but am considering a change in pace when i do move, i have no kids and dont want kids right now that includes step kids, life has been stressful but im working on getting back to my more free spirited self, im 5'5 and prefer 5'7-5'11 im white and have black hair (yes dyed), thin i guess lol & prefer that i love billy joel , fleetwood mac, the smiths, the cure, type -o, alice in chains,...... anyway i'm looking for someone that thinks like me so if you've followed this and feel a similar way in these life things so far message:) (23-27only!) 2025.01.23 03:36 Wagondoodle Minor customer experience that left me irrationally upset??
Hey guys!! To set the scene, I was on Window w/o a Mobile Cash, so the cars came directly to me. I had a car pull up, and the name on it was “Almar”. So I said “Hi, for Almar?” And then, there were two girls in the front seat who started giggling amongst themselves. It felt like I was being laughed at than laughed with, very much mean girl energy. And then they said the name was Omar. At this point, I finally noticed the dude in the back seat.
Fast forward, they have been sitting at the window for a bit. And then the dude in the backseat is smiling, and says “Can we get our food please?” I looked at the wait time, and it was 3 minutes and 40 seconds? I was not sure what to say, so I pretty much told him that the food takes time to make, and that there were other people inside who we had to serve as well. Anyway, I was just very frustrated with the whole experience. It was small, but it felt so incredibly rude? Am I crazy for being a little frustrated with the experience?

I worked with this guy last year, he was the best guy ever. Always making jokes, always trying his best. He worked for over ten years hustling and all they would give him was 20$ an hour and he was at the top of his field. The bosses would continuously expect him to do things that were impossible for one person to do in an 8 hour shift, and then get mad when he didn't complete it. He was worried that he was working his life away for nothing and hadn't actually done anything meaningful with his time and I just found out he died from poor health due to being overworked and overstressed. He didn't deserve this. He was 30. What's the point in trying hard to achieve any work goals if life ends early and you feel like you didn't do anything? I wouldn't say his life was meaningless like he said he felt it was, because he brought so much joy to everyone and definitely changed my life for the better, but it doesn't change the fact that he felt that way.
sorry if this is bleak, this is the first person in my life to die young (and because of capitalism) and i'm not handling it very well
