I have yet to find any devices that will give one $1,300 off, it appears everything gives only $1000.
Instead you either pay $8.34 for 256gb or $11.67 for 512 gb
Is this false advertisement or is someone able to get full $1,300 off and it being totally free?

I grew up studying in a school where Tamilians and Marwaris dominated. I have to tell you, when times got tough, it was my Tamil friends who stood by me, loyal and unwavering. Tamil culture is not just something I observe from a distance; it is interwoven into my family’s life. From as far back as my memory takes me, we’ve always embraced Tamil traditions. Weddings in my family are not complete without Tamil nights—where we dress up in South Indian attire and celebrate with delicious Tamil meals. With my cousins and close friends, who are also Marwaris, we find ourselves speaking in Tamil because sometimes, emotions carry an intensity that only Tamil can truly express.
My grandfather came to this city selling ghee, and through his hard work and dedication, he laid the foundation for our family here. Yes, some may stereotype us as “rich” or “privileged,” but the reality is, every family has its struggles, stories, and sacrifices. The divide between the North and South is an idea I have come to believe is fueled by politics and ignorance. As a generation, we must rise above this divisive agenda. At our core, we are all humans with the same desires for love, growth, and happiness.
To my Tamil brothers and sisters, I want to say this: You have enriched my life in ways I cannot put into words. Your culture, your language, your sense of community, and your loyalty are values I hold dear to my heart. I know some people look at differences with prejudice, but I want to see beyond these labels. This world doesn’t need more division; it needs understanding and unity.
Whenever I travel away from Chennai, there is a void that no other city can fill. The warmth of the people, the smell of filter coffee, the sound of the waves at Marina, the celebration of Pongal, and even the soothing chaos of the city traffic—I miss it all. Chennai is not just the best city in India; for me, it is a part of my soul.
I embrace Tamil culture with love and gratitude. I urge all of us, especially the youth, to see beyond our regional, linguistic, or cultural differences. 2025.01.23 03:54 query626 In your opinion, how should higher-power Class 4 e-bikes like the Super73 and Motor Goat V3 be regulated?
There's been a lot of debate lately on these types of bikes and their legality. Recently, my home state of California passed a law that clarified what they consider "legal" e-bikes, limiting it to the 3 classes of e-bikes.
However, I personally feel like there should be a streamlined legal way to get these bikes legalized and allowed on the road. I understand why many aren't fond of them, having to share space with them and whatnot, but I honestly feel like they should be allowed - provided they operate within rules and regulations of course.
How do you guys feel like they should be regulated? I personally support requiring licensing and registration, but the costs should obviously be cheaper than a car or a gas motorcycle. I am also on the fence on insurance, although I personally have it myself. In addition, I also support allowing them in bike lanes and bike paths, PROVIDED they operate at a speed limit on these paths, and if they want to travel at higher speeds, they should take car lanes.

hi all, i'm (23F) writing this because all day i've been traumatized by an incident on the train/subway/metro that happened this morning and i think it's finally cracked my strength to take public transport. I currently live in Chicago, so today's incident occurred on the CTA, but i've lived in major cities all around the world, and harassment on the train occurs no matter where i am. up until this point, i've never let it get to me so much to the point where i give up on using public transport, but today i was yelled at and harassed by a group of three men to the point of which I was crying. they even followed me to the next car over when i switched- still yelling until i could get off at the next stop. AND this was at 7 in the morning- not even an odd hour of the night. i just don't know what to do anymore. i've been filmed, groped, followed, cursed at, been spit at, had things thrown on me, etc. on the train throughout my life and i can't do it anymore. i try to do all the safe things- i sit in the front cars, i try not to travel by train late at night, i sit near other women, but these things don't seem to matter at all these days. i'm preparing to start taking the bus everywhere even if it doubles my time, as well as just budgeting for ubers/lyfts. i'm not sure if there's any true advice to be given, but some words of comfort would be nice for a young girl feeling very scared of the world this week. thanks

2025.01.23 03:54 dodgemodgem Converting MWBC with 2 pole breaker to single pole breaker
So our new house was built in the 60's has a MWBC on 12/3 running to the kitchen. The two hots come from a 2 pole 20 amp breaker. It was labeled as disposal so I think it used to have one circuit dedicated for the garbage disposal and then the other to counter top receptacles.
There is now a different circuit and breaker feeding an under sink receptacle for the garbage disposal. The MWBC is currently wired so the black hot goes to the top outlet and the red goes to the bottom outlet for 4 different receptacles (all with their tabs broken on hot side). So the top outlets are all on one circuit and the bottom on another with a shared neutral to my understanding. We won't be running any large kitchen appliances on any of those receptacles so I was hoping to move everything to the black hot with new receptacles without the tab broken now, and just put a single pole 20 amp gfci breaker in there (also currently no gfci receptacles in kitchen). Then just disconnect the red in the panel and leave it dead. That will leave us with a free spot in the panel for other use that we need.
Would that work? More or less removing the MWBC and just making one circuit out of it using the black and then the red is just dead.

From Concord to Keene to Nashua/Manchester... My dad wants to try a Japanese steakhouse but isn't keen on the idea of sushi. So a place with great hibachi would be good but I love sushi so a place with decent sushi as well would be appreciated. I searched the sub and couldn't really find much. I understand we may not have the greatest options but he pretty much has a close to vanilla palette so anything relatively flavorful will probably blow his mind. Thanks in advance!

Bought a pre-owned vehicle from a dealership, was sold a "Comprehensive" extended warranty provided by Century (MAPFRE). Signed the document, verified again that comprehensive was checked.
Looked at their website and tried to login, and I was only covered mechanical. Is this something I can come back and asked for what I paid for or just cancel it?
