I have Gigabit internet, and for the whole few days I've owned this system, it was always around 500 to 600 Mbps—around 200 for any mobile device. This speed test is on my laptop (the only device that gets more than 200 Mbps). I've been trying to figure out why. I've done it all, and nothing works. I checked just now, and this... wtf? Is my Deco system defective? i treid QOS settings, my mesh system is wired together. my laptop is wired, i tried changing settings tried all kinds of things. i was going to go back to my old router and just return this Deco system BUT for some reason, the little white box that my ISP gave to convert the fiber to ethernet won't work with the Google router anymore.. it worked fine for 5 years,, i ''upgrade to the deco'' and then now it won't connect to my google router. what in the world is going on?
why are my speed tests so low? why is every wifi device stuck at 200 ish mbps? why does QOS not work and sometimes make it worse? why isnt anything working right?

So weird situation going on. Should I be concerned? I started dating a new girl this year after healing from a bad relationship. 6 months in things have gotten weird…. With my mother.
Context: yes I still live at home I’m 24 . It’s a weird situation. My parents were extremely against me renting. They always stressed what a terrible financial decision it is to me from a young age. Almost brainwashing me until recently. I was also never allowed to open a line of credit. Credit was extremely frowned upon in our household. When I was 18 I was told ide be kicked out if I opened a credit card. I know I don’t need their consent now, but until this year I’ve never had any credit. Thus I can’t buy or rent anything. I’ve since started building credit and I’m trying as hard as I can to find anything. Financially I’m perfectly capable. I have a good paying job with benefits. But no credit history is killing me.
Back to the girlfriend and mother drama….
In previous relationships she has never done this.
I’ve started staying with my girlfriend on the weekends. And I work a lot of hours during the week, after hours I hang out, so I’m rarely actually home. Things are healthy and she treats me so well. A couple months ago my girlfriend started packing me lunches to take to work. I thought it was the sweetest thing as no one had ever done that for me. She makes me dinner when I get home for work. And specifically always makes me muffins to take to work in the morning. And gets snacks for the lunches she makes me. I felt so loved by this.
I was chatting with my mother on the phone and it came up in conversation. I told her how my girlfriend makes me lunches and how sweet it is of her.
A few weeks went by and we went to my parent’s house to say hi. After dinner my mom brought out a big basket of snacks all arranged, almost like a gift basket. Her cupboards stocked with snacks. She said “this is for you to take in your lunches.” Right in front of me and my girlfriend.
I was slightly embarrassed by this. #1 why is my mom buying all this junk food for me, and #2 why is she babying me like this. It felt weird but I didn’t give it much thought after we left.
Well some time went by and I stopped by my parent’s house again. This time by mother made muffins…. She’s never made muffins. She wrote on the plate “breakfast muffins” weirdly specific. After seeing this I was kind of shocked. It seemed almost like my mom is competing with my girlfriend. She also made me sandwiches labeled with my name this is just seeming weird. And very similar to how i described what my girlfriend does. It’s sweet my gf does this, but I’ve never expressed a need for it. She just simply did it out of love.
I haven’t noticed anything else except my parents saying weird things like… well Howes your girlfriend. I’ll reply “good” and they will say reluctantly “well as long as you’re happy I guess that’s all that matters” in a passive way.
In my previous relationship my ex was very close with my parents. It was a long term relationship. But I hated how involved they were. I’ve made it a point to keep my current girl more distant from my parents.
Am I the asshole just being overly critical and ungrateful for someone doing something kind for me. Or is this something to be concerned about? I know I’m a loser for still being at home, I’m working on it very hard

I love digging deep with people about our emotions, thoughts, ambitions, dreams, and all the silly stuff in between. I think it's an excellent way to feel like you're genuinely connected to another person. It can be very uncomfortable but I'd argue all the nicest things in life require a bit of discomfort first, to appreciate the authenticity and comfort that comes after (i sound like i'm enlightened but i promise i'm far from it).
A bit about me: I'm 28, south asian, work in tech (obviously), love to read, write, gym, watch movies and shows, travel, explore new hobbies (i've done so much this year), meet new people and act like I'm a good therapist on occasion (I think I'm amazing)

This was the first day of January with a clear sky and couldn’t help but see this. It looked like a meteorite had entered earth atmosphere. Unfortunately it was about 6-8 trails with 2-3 planes creating new trails on the exact same route. Never seen anything like it before.

2025.01.23 07:08 0666gangforlife Hello, first post. At this point I’m just curious how ya’ll would fix her. In my opinion just change literally everything. Scarlet Witch is completely useless and rarely even picked in this game and it hurts my head.
 | I’m not the most well versed in marvel lore but I know a little and I know scarlet witch is one of the strongest characters right? So how come she is the worst character in this game and completely useless? Even after her buff she still feels HEAVILY lacking. I know there is a more direct and better way to play her now and it ALMOST works but it doesn’t really because it’s still just that bad Also wanna mention pre buff and the buff itself. Pre buff was a nightmare, like just go home if you’re gonna play her, go to bed, it’s an actual waste of oxygen. She did no damage, she died all the time and her ult takes half my lifespan And the buff itself- if you can even call it that is rough af. A damage boost BUT then a damage nerf? Are we serious right now? I guess we’re joking here, okay. So she gets a buff to her overall damage but then a knockdown from the overall %health damage, so basically “we buffed her buuuuuut we barely did because we nerfed where we buffed :))”. Didn’t touch her ult??????????? Why???????? Moon knights ult takes .1 second to launch and 20 seconds to get, no audio cue even needed, we all know how bad that is. While almost every other ult is immediate or near immediate. Her ult NOT only SLOWS her movement, she SHOUTS IT, there is a giant flashing sign to shot her on her and finally I can go home, sleep, wake up, get a job, get a family, die, reincarnate, eat 20 cheese burgers, make 50 meals, go to sleep, become famous, die again, reincarnate- Oh oh… right, now she ults, almost FORGOT CAUSE IT TAKES SO LONG. I forgot right now cause it’s late but is there any other ult that even takes half as long? I mean wtf is the thought process. This is a rant and a discussion I wanna have because I love the scarlet witch and what she represents and has done and I’m devastated that she was reduced to a complete laughing stock of a character in a team shooter of all things. What is even happening? I just need to know the thought process because I don’t get it at all. Ps: Reddit on mobile is dumb and I can’t edit the text higher up. I forgot to mention the burst projective damage in the buff, not bad, that’s the only thing that makes her slightly more viable but they easily get out healed, dodged or you run out and miss. So gg. When she ults, and charges the enemy, you charge in with her. 10-12 seconds of being very very very hard to kill while in her ult, so you can try and roll the other team.
That's it. I just wanted to let you guys know because I see so many people slowly backing away to spawn, away from the point when your Luna pops her ult. I don't understand why people do that.

Im from the US. Been driving for more than 30 years. I passed a comparable test to this in 4 states, including the California test. But, damn this test here in Shanghai is almost impossible because the some of the translations are wrong, some of the information is misleading, and some of the answers are just flat out incorrect. We should be able to access a correct translation. If that cant be provided, I should be able to use a translator app, or be allowed to bring a translator. For a city of this size to not have a proof reader on something as basic as a drivers license test is incredible to me.

Hi, I currently have an X gender marker on my CA state ID. I have not yet legally changed my name, though I am trying to do so very quickly. I had a passport as a very young child with an F on it, and I haven’t updated my birth certificate yet.
I want to get a passport asap, and I don’t know what gender I should put down. Is it still okay for me to get an X passport if I act now? Could I get an M? Or should I just get an F passport?
Will my gender on the CA state ID cause me problems by being mismatched from my other documents?
For context I started T a couple months ago and will be continuing it. My main goal with my ID/passport is just staying safe/reducing my risk of problems arising when I travel.
If I change my CA state ID would it be better to change it to F to match my other documents or to M to match my goals for transition, what my actual appearance will become in the next couple years? I haven’t been on T for long enough to comfortably as male yet, but I assume in two or three years that will be different.
I’m just really confused and not sure how I should go about this, any advice as to what my options are is much appreciated.
