The new mode feels like the best idea to become the permanent mode for Overwatch, a lot of people hate the idea because "Teams will become too unbalanced, 3 DPS and only 1 support"
I've been playing since Season 3 of OW1 and remember perfectly how Open Queue was, yes there were some matches where no one wanted to switch, but what happened? Instead of complaining about those people i started playing Support as people didn't want to play it.
Min 1 opens the option to play way more varied comps, You want a "raid boss" style? Go 1 Tank 3 Supports 2 DPS You want a balanced comp? go with 2 2 2 You want a tankier comp? Go 3 Tanks 2 Supports 1 DPS
The possibilities for team comps really make the game feel different. and the flexibility to switch more freely really helps against some strats that people complain about.
Main example? Widowmaker
An enemy Widowmaker is dominating the lobby? You can go Dva Winston to jump on that sweet purple ass, while a third tank helps your own Widow and 2 supports
Minimum 1 also helps with one of the biggest issues with Overwatch, queue times. Ever since Role Queue was added, queue times went up the roof. It made it specially bad for DPS players, and there were times that if you queued with a friend playing DPS you could have to wait 10-15 mins or even more to find a game....and get rolled in 5 minutes.
Queue times being faster help the game a LOT, its something people like about Rivals.

I have spent 4-5 hours pickpocketing workers in priff (bouncing between Crwys, Traehaern, amlodd and Cadarn clans) and am yet to get a single seed. For reference, I've acquired 3 Musicians outfits and 3 separate clan symbols, but no seeds. Am I missing a quest or dialogue somewhere or am I just unlucky? Is it better to just get the drop from kills? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Hall - good form and good next two fixtures, but future fixtures become challenging
Munoz - very attacking and good fixtures all the way, the problem is CP can't keep cleans.
Robinson - good asset but bad fixtures
Aina - no idea whether forest can survive harder fixtures
Mykolenko - double in 24 and will not blank in 29. But will not be too effective outside of those two fixtures.

I'm 45 and had been a daily drinker for 25 years.
Today marks 1 year of sobriety. Also marks a year of daily exercise, tummo breathing and cold showers.
From 117kg to 87kg and can confidently say it's been the best year if my life. My partner says it's the best mid life crisis you could ask for.
What I have learnt is - Your morning routine sets the tone and success for your day - dial it in. - Your friends get used to you being sober, lean into zero alch drinks and embrace the fact you can drive at anytime. - The day doesn't stop at 5 pm (when I used to have my first daily drink) - "Begin at once to live, and count each separate day as it's own separate life" - Seneca - make every day, a PERFECT DAY!

Fandango is showing the movie times and seats for the movie already for Feb 10th date. However, when I try to click on the seats to purchase, it keeps showing me a message "Please Adjust Your Seat Selection" even though when I come back it keeps showing blue available seats.
Is this because the movie hasn't officially gone on sale yet?

I've been attending a Pretty Reverent Novus ordo which is great but i recently have read Archbishop Marcel Lefebvres "Open letter to confused Catholics" which he explains the Bastardization of the Mass and how watered down it has became, so me being a Altar Server at this Parish (fifteen, the Proper age to be a Altar server) i've taken it upon me to be more Traditional such as praying the "Dominus Pars hereditatis" and "Indue me domine" prayers before Mass whilst vesting, but ive recently gone to a Latin Mass and i can't look at the Novus Ordo the same, but at the same time my parish can use all the reverence and youth possible. So should i feel guilty for leaving this parish and quitting Altar Serving for a More Reverent TLM Parish?

I've seen this so many times, people think that sending more traffic is the solution. But what about your conversion rates?
Are you getting all the sauce out of the people you're already sending to your sites?
You're putting so much money in traffic, but you're getting too low sales and leads.
Same goes for your "email marketing campaigns". Are you sending a good amount of emails every week and still losing retention and interest of your audience?
Getting new leads isn't the best solution if your existing email list is not converting.

2025.01.23 07:10 Available_Test_834 First DND 5e Solo game and I'm honestly confused
So as stated I'm currently confused. I've only just gotten into DND (going on a year and a half now). Younger brother got me into dnd but we both don't have matching schedules nor the effort to not argue the whole game. With not being able to find a local shop near me nor groups to do live play, i turned to solo and for a year now my confusion lies in the underlying grasp of using a campaign book. I am currently reading the PHB and the DMG to really become a knowledgeable almost Master DM to help create a more true to life game for myself, but fell into the trap of buying a WoTC campaign book thinking I could turn it into a solo experience. I've created my own campaigns and written plenty of pages worth of games that will never exist, but i felt that because i know what would happen due to creating the worlds and literally life in these places, i knew the ending and knew what twist was coming or who the secret BBEG was, or how i needed to react in order to get the final outcome regardless of how I roleplay. I absolutely love the world of the forgotten realms and the universe surrounding dnd with all the lore and vast array of stories you can create, however, the challenge lies in being able to run a solo game off this book. I love the idea of the campaign I'm using cause I haven't read it so I do not know what happens and that is what I'm looking for but it's just feeling impossible to run. I'm confused on Journaling, I'm confused on how conversations work with journaling. I've used the Solo RPG guide books with tables and steps to make it work but none really work well with the WoTC books I have. If anyone has ideas, help, or things I've never thought of, I would absolutely appreciate it. Obviously I'm very new and still grasping the game but I want to enjoy this, I love the enjoyment of using my mats and figures and seeing a story come to life. Ive used foundry, roll 20, hell even tried a divinity original sin 2 GM mode. Thank you. Roll on yall.

Hello everyone! I am soon moving to Australia and I have a bunch of taxidermy bugs I would love to bring with me in my checked luggage. My last trip from AUS, I brought back 3 to the USA and there wasn’t any problems there. All of them are sealed and enclosed in their own framed boxes.
Aside from bugs I do have a possum, skunk, and a mountain lion (all loose , not propped on a mount). I have heard I would need to get the fur tested and permits to bring them over? Though I’m not upset to leave them behind. Any advice is very appreciated, thank you!
