Why are Christians unbound from Mosaic Law?
This is a question so many of us have wrestled with as we grew in faith with God. Each of us either have an explanation as to why we are no longer bound by it, or we make an effort to follow Mosaic Law.
As a Catholic, I have a more "classical" view of the question, the position of Fulfillment Theology, also known as Supersessionism. This theology asserts that after Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension, the Mosaic covenant was fulfilled, and the Christian Church "superseded" the Jewish people as the "New Israel". This caused the Christian Church to be the new chosen people of God.
Most of the time I've explained this position, both to Christians and non-Christians, it isn't really met with any kind of opposition, simply agreement or disagreement, which is. Yesterday, I was told by a fellow Christian who I respect that the theology is inherently antisemitic, and that I have some "antisemitism I need to work out of my theology."
As a caveat, it's important to understand this theology's history. It was born out of the rivalry between early Christianity, and early Rabbinic Judaism. From the Middle Ages to the Holocaust, the theology was used to justify the killing, pillaging, and genocide of the Jewish People. I acknowledge and respect the bloody history of Judeo-Christian relationships and how rivalry between two religious traditions became a genocide of the oppressed, by the oppressor. But I have such a hard time seeing how the history of this theology being used as a weapon as reason to throw out the theology entirely.
What's your perspective on this? Do you believe in or support supersessionism? If you don't, what explanation do you have, if any, as to why we are no longer bound by Mosaic law? So you feel fulfillment theology is inherently antisemitic? Why or Why not?

So I’ve gotten back into the groove of working out and began taking creatine monohydrate. For reference, I’m on a cut and prior to taking the supplement I lost 10 lbs. with some research I did notice some reviewers say they gained a couple pounds back but that was due to water getting into the muscles. (I hope I am explaining this right) I was just wondering some people’s experience with creatine and how it affected their body. I’m not too worried about the scale just want to see if this has happened to anybody on Reddit lol.

2025.01.23 17:32 stupidsprinkle How are you supposed to feel when someone you don't talk to anymore passes away?
So, I was friends with a person I knew from my first job. I hated the job but they a very bright and vibrant person. After life stuff happened for both of us and I stopped working, we lost touch.
Today, I found out they passed away over the weekend. I didn't find any cause of death (since the family are the only ones posting about it) but I did find out they were arrested the day before. It's been over a year since we spoke last, I think.
How am I supposed to feel? It feels heavy but not like I'm going to cry like I did when people I was closer to passed. I want to attend their service but the family isn't sure it will be open to the public. What do I do to grieve then? I feel like a mess of feelings, currently.

2025.01.23 17:32 Sherloq19 Div 3 is just the worst place to be...
Stuck with the "bad" P2W players, no prospect of going back down to the more chilled Divisions 4 & 5 and unwilling to sweat it out to get to Div 2. We really need some better match-making options/tournaments/leagues for F2P players... or just bring back relegation for all divisions above 1. It's really starting to feel like us F2P players are just cannon fodder for the P2W guys.
I'm happy to pay, just not in micro-transactions... I'd gladly go back to forking out £50 a year for Master League and better online modes, just not as it stands.

I slow clapped for Nadia when she went off on Annie. Finally someone tells it to Annie straight instead of trying to make excuses for her behaviour like Naked did. Naked is the worst person on the show imo. Treats Kayleigh like she's asking for too much, then gets offended when she's confiding to her friends about how she feels...and gets mad as if he ain't the one ignoring and dismissing her feelings at home.
So of course he would be the one to enable Annie's toxic behaviour because he doesn't see any wrong it. On top of that, only going to Nadia's house to apologise out of guilt of being seen as the one that caused the drama. But you can tell he ain't genuinely sorry, dismissing her feelings so quick on the night.
Every other villain like Annie and Zari just come straight out black and white and we see their true colours. But Naked, he's the true villain because he presents himself as grey. Does bad guy things but portrays himself as the good guy. Even enabling Diamond's meddling in Zari's marriage by proclaiming "he hasn't done anything wrong" pffft. Genuinely hope Kayleigh finds someone she deserves.

Since the first benchmarks are out and we now know that 1000W is the minimum, but 1200W is recommended, I’m planning to buy a 1200W PSU from Seasonic.
I was considering the Vertex PX 1200 from Seasonic.
The manufacturer has stated on their website that the Vertex PSUs have been updated to ATX 3.1. However, all online retailers still list them as ATX 3.0 versions.
Will an ATX 3.0 be sufficient, or do I need to go for an ATX 3.1?
