I recently had lab work done, and my cortisol is literally double being on T the last few months compared to my normal base line prior to introducing it into my body. Have others experienced this? Potentially level itself out? My current protocol is 4mg T Cyp injected twice weekly (every 3.5days) totaling 8mg weekly for the last 8wks. Also, when will these damn white heads leave my back and shoulders đđ€Ł

I'd like to try dehydrating tiny shrimp and narutomaki for eventually putting into ramen. Perhaps even squid and imitation crab, also. I already have success with fried bean curd and shiitake, wondering if the 4 aforementioned ingredients would work out well. I guess I could try small batches but curious if anyone's tried this type of dehydrating. Is there a more serious food-dehydrating sub I should maybe try for answers within? Thanks!

| (23M) currently work in a mid sized suburb outside of DFW TX. I got a job offer to move back home to a smaller town but still rural-suburban in CA. Currently make 45k, the offer was for 85k and a company truck. Is this a no brainer ? I love living in TX but this seems insane to pass up. I have a college degree in ag economics and the new job would be in agriculture sales and my current gig is not. I'd also be moving in with my parents and I currently pay 1300 in rent and utilities. To top it off, I currently have around 28k in student loans, currently making minimum payments of 300 on 10 year plan. I think if I moved I'd be able to do it in <1 year. Everyone l've asked says it a no brainer, is it really that simple?

Hi
This has cropped up in other subs such as nursing etc. Has anyone on here left the NHS as an OT and become a disability assessor?
There are lots of mixed reviews about the job some hate and some love. I'm feeling totally burnt out at the moment I work in an acute setting and due to poor management and lack of development opportunities I've kind of had enough of being an OT. I just feel like a discharge planner. I've been in this setting for a little while now.
I like the idea having more non clinical time and the option of working from home.
Any advice or information would be much appreciated around this assessor role or expierence of burnout and what's helped you get through it?

2025.01.23 17:33 myungjunn I feel like I lack empathy and I am often faking my emotions for other people.
i just started thinking about this, that every time i am engaging in a conversation where that person is expressing their feelings and difficult things, i often dont want to listen to them and i want to get out of the conversation. it often feels inconveniencing to me when someone says theyre having a hard time and would like to talk about it. regardless, i dont tell it to their face and i try my best to express care in their problems. i continue to ask them whats wrong and what exactly is going on and try to listen to them, but in reality i dont really want to hear it. what is wrong with me? why do i feel this way? i don't get it. i often debate ethics with other people and get mad when people express no empathy, but i feel like a hypocrite because i often dont care about such things either.

ive already made a post in here talking about my symptoms (which have all pretty much subsided besides the fever and headache) but does anyone else feel like they have a cold now? its probably just the end of the flu doing its thing.. but im blowing my nose and coughing literally every 30 seconds. and the headache is so bad, if i cough too hard it starts to hurt đ low grade fever STILL 99.2-99.6, (goes down to 98.4 with tylenol) its been since january 12. like i said, its not as bad as it was the first two days, but its just annoying now. i feel fine otherwise.

Hello everyone. I am going a mom of a 14 year old son with autism. He was diagnosed when he was 2 years old and began to speak at 4. Currently his speaking abilities are BETTER but he still sort of speaks quite young for his age and will usually approach people and say âwhat animal you like?â, his favorite question. Anyway to the point, he will mostly be in special education as he has been his school career but there are mandatory times for special education students to join the general ed and he is a social butterfly despite his speaking abilities. I can only speak on my own high school experience and I am unfortunately quite sure he wouldâve been bullied if he went to high school when I did. However Iâm wondering if that climate has changed in your generation and if he will have a more kind, forgiving experience or perhaps maybe not. I know you guys canât predict what will happen in an entirely different place but just generally speaking how do differently abled kids get treated? Also take it easy on me Iâm just a old ass millennial whoâs trying to look out for my kid đ
