I need to replace my driver's license and i figured I might as well update to a Star ID while I'm at it. I see the list of locations where they do it, but I've heard horror stories about the long wait at the Finley location. Any recent experiences with getting your Star ID and can recommend a particular location? Should I / can I make an appointment? I live in Crestwood and am willing to travel 30ish minutes if I have to. Trying to go during work hours tomorrow and can't be away from my desk for more than 2 hours before anyone gets suspicious.

2025.01.23 23:11 dilly0bob PC went from 120+FPS to 30FPS overnight
I recently did a complete rebuild. My PC was struggling to perform with newer gen games.
PC Specs
EVGA 1000 G6, 80 Plus GOLD 1000W
ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7600 XT OC Edition 16GB GDDR6
Gigabyte B550 Gaming x V2 - Gen 2
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core - 32 Thread
upHere D6SEC Dual Tower CPU Air Cooler
G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series DDR4 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 3600MHZ
I have two monitors, gaming display (port 2) is 165hz 1080. Second monitor is a dell 60hz left with streams or YouTube or music.
Problem
All of these parts listed above are new. When I mention I "upgraded" a part, the ones above listed were what was used. Installed NEW motherboard, an OLD Ryzen 5 CPU, with OLD RAM, an OLD PSU (650w) and my NEW GPU (as listed above). My GPU performed flawless for the night, next morning, struggling for 40FPS. I then upgraded my RAM, no help. I then upgraded my PSU thinking it was a power issue with the new GPU. No help. I then bought and installed a new CPU. The stability of my gaming performance increased dramatically, my frame issue remained at hand. I installed AMD Adrenaline at some point. I can't remember if it was the same night I put the GPU in. I am almost certain I let windows install the recommended drivers and went straight into testing it out.
Troubleshooting I have done resulting in no change
1. Tried new power cable cords. No help. Put old ones back in. No change (obviously)
2. Removing the AMD drivers from PC and updating from their official site.
3. Reseating the GPU.
4. Reinstalling Adrenaline and OC the GPU - just got a rise in temperature with better FPS latency. I took Adrenaline off my PC and removed OC, it was causing windows to randomly not recognize the driver and black screen my PC.
5. Updating BIOS
6. Made sure windows didn't change my refresh rate, reenabled any weird power limitations or what not while gaming
7, Monitor temperatures of my CPU (85c under intense load, gaming, stream, discord, multiple tabs. 30c while idle) and GPU (all within normal ranges while under heavy load and idle).
8. UserBenchMark put everything in the 100%+. The only mention was to enable XMP in my BIOS. This was NOT on when my GPU was running as intended so I did NOT turn it on. Last time I enabled XMP on a Gigabyte gaming board it gave me the blue screen of death.
Conclusion?
I am experiencing no crashing or blatantly glaring issues with my PC outside of the fact that my GPU has decided to go from 120+ FPS gaming to 30-40 after shutting down my PC down one night and turning it on the next morning.
This issue is my obvious in PoE2. PoE1 I have issues but no where near as bad. I ran Assetto Corsa and it's worse than PoE2. Some games are worse than others but it seems to a drop across the board in any title I launch. I am at the point of just wanting to wipe my windows entirely with a fresh install. I am at a complete loss on this one.
TLDR
Bought new GPU, performed solid for a day, sucked next morning on reboot of PC. Rebuilt entire PC. Same problem. Troubleshoot good. Problem still. Just wipe my windows at this point?

One was on the road, the head was on the sidewalk and the other was on the sidewalk closer to the guardrail,” she testified in a Toronto courtroom Wednesday. Berdoussis is one of nearly a dozen civilian witnesses who have testified at the trial for 48-year-old Godfrey Sig-Od, charged with two counts of first-degree murder in relation to his ex-wife Elvie Sig-Od, 44, and his daughter Angelica Sig-Od, 20. Sig-Od pleaded guilty to manslaughter at the opening of the trial Tuesday, but assistant Crown prosecutor Rochelle Liberman told jurors that the Crown was proceeding on the first-degree murder charge because the evidence will show that Godfrey Sig-Od intended to kill his ex-wife and daughter. The evidence, the Crown contends, will show that the killings were planned and deliberate. During her testimony, Berdoussis recounted how she jumped from her minivan, just in front of a silver Lexus where the woman was lying on the ground because she hoped she could help one of the women she saw bleeding. “I got to the body and I looked at her face. She had marks on her face and to me, it didn’t look like an accident,” she said. Berdoussis said she then looked at the other body and could see a white shirt over the person’s head and two wounds in the back. “The guy came over to me and I said something to the effect of, ‘What the f…? This is not an accident,’ or, ‘What the hell happened here? This is not an accident,'” she recalled. Berdoussis said he replied, “He said to me, ‘I killed her because she cheated?’ and then he said it again, “‘I killed her because she cheated on me.'” She testified “And I made a remark, ‘What? you killed her because she cheated?'” Berdoussis said she saw his black shoes and white socks and then looked at his hands. “I thought, ‘This is when I die.’ I got up and my whole life flashed before me in two seconds. If you've been following the saga you'll probably understand whats going on. I like this boy who used to be in choir, who isn't in choir anymore. But it's okay because I got his phone number!
Anyway, why does he have to be in year 10 for?? I'm year 12, and I want to start by saying that gap doesn't really bother me and I'd hope if I ever told him (which I doubt I ever will) he wouldn't hate me for the gap.
But what my rant is really about is why does he have to be in a different year group for? It makes me always finding myself wanting to actually talk to him and hear his voice but having to wait for the weekends in hopes I get to call him or meet up with him because I don't get to see him in school. It also means I only have one photo of him and I need more.
But yeah, just needed to get that off my chest because I hate feeling sad that I can't see him in school that much when I really want to.
