2025.01.24 01:52 moon-raven-77 Does anyone else have more trouble with oats than wheat?
I can eat a single slice of wheat bread and be okay, but if I have one oatmeal cookie, I am in for a world of pain. (And yes, the other cookie ingredients were all fine.)
I just don't get it. I think my primary sensitivity is fructans, but from everything I can find (including Monash and FODMAP Friendly testing), oats are way lower in fructans than wheat. So how does it make sense that I can't tolerate even a "low-FODMAP" serving of cooked oats?
