I learned my lesson in a hard way. I ordered ng Xiaomi TV as a family christmas gift sana. But until now wala pa din. So, i tried to cancel nalnag sa app but hindi pala pwede. Then, i tried chatting lazada and the seller but wlang response. Ang nakakainis hindi man lang siniseen mga messages ko ni lazada. I check the item din if in stock, but as of jan 8 wala na siyang stock ung, naka "Find Similar" nalang siya. so di ko alam kung nakascam ba ako or what kasi Lazmall naman. And meron naman siyang On-time guarantee delivery. Da hell is going on. So, I called nalang sa number na to (02) 89529232. They give me naman ng ticket. But this is taking too long for cancellation. Durign our calls: From our phone convo with CSRs: 1. They can't talk directly daw sa seller para i-cancel nalang 2. And merong CSR na, nashipped na daw i have to wait nalang.. but ang status is ready to be shipped. And they have to report it sa J&T Express Philippines. Eh sabi ko nakay seller pa ang item bakit kay J&T Express Philippines? **baka gutom lang kausap ko neto.. 3. Meron din ilalapit niya daw sa supervisor niya. pero until wala pa din report For cancellation: 1. Mga unang calls ko, 3-5 days daw 2. Then mga sumunod, naging 5-15 days. 3. Then, naging 10-30 days na daw. Then, another business/banking days pa daw for refund: 1. sabi lang naman nila 5-45 days. 2. Then may nasabi support nila na usually under 5 days lang daw. Almost everyday nako natawag sa kanila, and I just want my money back. I learned my lesson in a hard way because i usually order and pay it through my debit card Para 'di nako nagiiwan ng pera and hindi aligaga mga persons sa bahay 'pag nakalimutan ko mag iwan. Ano lesson ko? Iwas muna kay Lazada; and huwag na mag pay thru debit card especially sa big amounts. Ano ba masasuggest niyo pwede kong gawin DTI Philippines? I’m one week pp and my son is cluster feeding all night. From 1am until 7am. I can’t sleep properly during the day due to anxiety over him, I am trying to work on this. I have perhaps had a total of 10 hours of sleep since he was born. I have headaches, dizziness and I just don’t understand how people cope. He is particularly demanding in that he has gained a lot of weight since birth and demands to be fed near to constantly in the night. I am producing enough milk, he is feeding, and I’m trying to breast & bottle feed. He’s not tongue tied.
I don’t know what to do. Is this normal? The midwives say it is but how do people cope? My partner tries to help but at the same time he can’t get the baby fed and changed without him crying and waking me if I do fall asleep.
I am concerned of what’s to come for my mental health if this is going to be life. I knew sleep deprivation was going to happen but I did not realise he would be feeding constantly for hours.

Sto cercando un’auto e vorrei spendere intorno ai 10.000 euro (forse e troppo poco, non so). Dopo aver guardato un po’ di annunci online, ho notato che la maggior parte delle auto che mi interessano costano circa 9.000 euro. Vorrei però farmi un’idea più chiara delle spese totali.
Avete consigli utili su come acquistare un’auto usata con questo budget? In particolare, mi piacerebbe sapere quali altri costi devo considerare. Ad esempio, quanto potrei spendere per l’assicurazione? E ci sono spese nascoste o errori comuni da evitare?
Inoltre, secondo voi ha senso puntare su un’auto più “nuova” a quel prezzo, oppure conviene orientarsi su un buon usato di qualità, tipo un modello più vecchio ma ben tenuto come una BMW, Audi, o simili?

This will be my first time visiting Sri Lanka and I have 18 days in the country. I have made a rough itinerary and was wondering if it was A - realistic, B - missing anywhere and C- need more/less time anywhere. Please keep in mind I have limited time as I have a flight booked home.
1 - Arrive early and stay in Negombo 2-4 - Sigiriya 5 - Kandy 6-8 - Ella 9 & 10 - Yala National Park 11-17 - Hiriketiya, Mirissa and Galle 18 - Colombo for flight home
I was also wondering for advice on booking the Kandy to Ella Train, I plan on being there in a week so is this too late?
Do I need to prebook a safari tour in Yala?
Any other tips on backpacking Sri Lanka?

2025.01.24 08:14 msgidol How much clearance to the wall do you need for a Standing Desk? Can they be safely put flushed to the wall or would that not be recommended when you're adjusting the height? Also, are casters/wheels recommended if you're using it on carpet?
Previously, I have used non-standing desks that were just sit flush a wall/corner. My current config is that I have it set up close to the left and back wall:

I've never used any standing desks before but wanted to get one to replace my current desk. I wanted to know how much clearance I may need between the walls so that the desk can safely be adjusted height wise without hitting the walls. As you can see, I am worried about my desk hitting my left and back walls.
My second question is whether I should get casters/wheels? Or are they not recommended because I have carpet in my rooms?

Not sure if this is the right sub but this just happened and I need to tell someone.
Title says it all the rest is just details.
A few nights ago, late, maybe around 12:30 at night? a car was driving up and down my street honking repeatedly. They would drive by my apartment building, turn around and keep honking. This went on for several minutes. It's in the middle of the night on a weekday, so I was annoyed and a little nervous.
Flash forward to tonight, I hear two girls screaming at eachother outside. My window faces the street and the windows are awful so I am able to hear almost everything they're screaming. (they were loud enough that it wasn't hard to hear). I look out my window and realize that the same car that was honking a few nights ago is now parked across the street, full of people watching this all go down.
The screaming and yelling continues, eventually I hear a door slam and feet going up the stairs. Someone gets into the car and it drives off.
A few minutes go by and then the screaming starts up again. I peak out the window again and now the girls are fighting in the middle of the street. There's maybe seven or so people watching these girls just go at it. I'm calling them girls but they look like they're early twenties? Too old to be acting like that in my opinion.
At this point I call the cops. I feel like maybe I should have minded my business, but I could hear everything they're screaming, it's been going on for way too long at this point and now they are fighting in the street.
Cops never showed up, and the people eventually went inside. It's been quiet for the past thirty minutes so I'm hoping that's the end of it.
I just needed to tell the story, I feel like that was a crazy thing that happened. I feel like calling the authorities when it turned into a psychical altercation was the right thing to do? But I'm not sure if it was out of line. Everyone I know is sleeping or busy so Reddit gets to hear the story

Anyone else been experiencing slower gameplay past few days? I noticed a significant dip in performance after the initial hype of the title update.. to the point that I felt like they reverted the patch.
I tried disabling crossplay, and it seems to have fixed most of the gameplay issues I was having.
If you're struggling with slowness, AI not making runs etc. give it a shot and see if it helps!
