Having trouble with Biome 2 Boss. Typically, I go into it having bought an Astronaut and a large Silphium vials. Is it possible to have the astronaut and 2 large vials? I only see one that I can buy from fabricators, so not sure how to get two. Thanks!

2025.01.24 17:29 Dramatic-Song-8787 Penis irritation/sensitivity and abnormal pee urges - no growth in culture

30m, 215lbs, white
Went to doctor (convenient care) 2 days ago for some sensation/irritation near the tip of penis for a couple weeks. I’ve felt like I am having the urge to pee more often than normal, and sometimes I’ll get up in the middle of the night to pee, and not much will come out at all. Also just normal discomfort at times will sitting/walking; like I’m way more sensitive to my underwear and clothes than I was a month ago. It’s interfered with exercise and even just relaxing in a chair. At the appointment I gave samples and they examined me to make sure it looked ok. There was “trace” blood in urine, they sent the sample for culture and I just got the notification of no growth, so I’m assuming there’s nothing to be done. They said next step would be scheduling with PCP if they found nothing. I’m about to travel for a week, and was hoping I’d be on a treatment plan (antibiotics or something) so I get some relief in a few days. Now I’m back at square one. Any idea what might be happening to me?

2025.01.24 17:29 KitchenDraw791 Can I ‘paint’ yarn?

So I like to make hair extension out of yarn because it's easier and faster than buying it from other people. I kind of want to make a coontail hair extension (see scene kids from the 2000's hair) but I would need to paint the yarn with black stripes. Is that possible? If so, what should I use to paint it?

2025.01.24 17:29 Drawsmin Warranty Claim Process?

Warranty Claim Process? Context: Bought the NP2a last december in the Philippines. But around December 22, the touch display function start malfunctioning. I messaged nothingph on Lazada on how to claim the warranty process. Take note, they said that it will take 30-45 days for the end to end process. So I returned the phone in digital walker trinoma to be shipped on their main office in manila so they can then shipped it in their repair center in hongkong. I did get updates from time to time but I have to ask in order to get them. Then 5 days ago, I got an email from them that it got stuck in customs and needed additional documentations. Does anyone encountered this type of problem? I still haven't received the phone until now and I'm getting kind of worried. Please advise me on what actions should I do next🥹 this phone was supposed to be a present for myself. Do I report it to DTI?

2025.01.24 17:29 Acrobatic_Feature906 Ideas for my PFE ya jemaaaaa!!!!

Hello everyone, I am currently a Bachelor student in Tunisia (Computer Science). For our final year, we have to accomplish a 4-month project in which we should get some results, like cooperating with a company to complete a real task. Since I am a data science enthusiast, I am willing to do my project at one of the best Computer Science Laboratories in my country (Tunisia). The best thing about this opportunity is that I can choose the whole idea of the project to realize. I want some propositions based on these key factors: I am not an expert, but I consider myself a fast learner and a hard worker + this is a two-person project (me and my college share the same knowledge) + we will have two assistants: one from the university and experts with PhDs in the field from the laboratory. This project should: Enhance my skills and increase my knowledge in the field of data science. Enhance my chances to get a scholarship abroad in the field of Computer Science, especially (USA, UK, China, Europe, Middle East, Australia). Enhance my chances to get a job after this experience (working with up-to-date technologies used in the industry by big companies. Note that I am willing to work with companies that use data science in finance, sockets, business, etc. Any other propositions are welcomed). Allow me to get a good, well-known certification in the field after accomplishing this project. Be a huge plus if, after working on this research, I can publish a scientific paper, knowing that this laboratory has already published hundreds of scientific papers (note that I have no idea about the process and necessities to publish scientific research and where and how it is evaluated to be published). Help me get a good mark at the presentation (something new and realizable in 4 months, WOW effect for the jury). PS: Anyone that wants to work together on this project or propose any procedure that allows a collaboration between two universities or two laboratories is welcomed , Any recommandation , advice or proposition is welcomed , thanks in advance

2025.01.24 17:29 MedicineOverall5076 UK live music finances question

I’m [23M] from London, wanting to do live shows. I’m 100% independent and will be self-funding everything. What on earth does this look like for tax/employment declaration?
Like if I’m making like £50 per show or whatever on one-off occasions for gigs, do I have to declare it on tax/state myself as self-employed? I really know nothing about independent music finances so some help would be greatly appreciated cheers

2025.01.24 17:29 ronaudii222 That thing it´s a Big Partner! HFY Story (Chapter 03)

The atmosphere on the bridge was heavy as Kador slowly walked toward the center, his hands clasped behind his back. He looked at each crew member before speaking, his voice firm but calm: "We will vote. This is an important moment, and I want to hear everyone’s opinion. We’re facing something none of us expected: an unknown species, lost in this sector of the galaxy. We must decide together whether we wake it or not."
Byra was the first to speak, crossing her arms as she stared at the projection of the capsule on the main monitor. "I vote in favor," she said resolutely. "If it’s lost and capable of building that capsule, it may need help. We can’t just leave it like this."
Loran, who had been silent until then, raised his hands in an almost casual gesture, though his voice carried a serious undertone. "I agree. We don’t know what happened to it, but leaving it in this state doesn’t feel right. Maybe we can learn something from it — and it from us."
Everyone turned to Tila, who had remained silent until then, her ears slightly lowered, a sign of her hesitation. She took a deep breath before responding, her voice tinged with concern. "I vote against. We don’t know what we’re bringing aboard the ship. I think it would be better to leave the capsule at a fleet inspection station. They have more resources and can handle this more safely."
Kador watched her carefully, tilting his head slightly. He seemed to weigh her words before replying. "I understand your concern, Tila. And you’re right, we could leave it at a station later. But for now, it may need help. And we don’t know how someone in the Federation would react. As far as we know, it’s an unknown species, lost and alone in this sector."
Tila crossed her arms, her fingers lightly tugging at the fur on her forearm as she thought.
Before she could respond, Nyxis intervened, her voice soft yet assertive. "Based on the readings I’ve collected, the being appears to be harmless despite its unusual stature. Its physiology suggests an omnivorous diet, and statistically, omnivorous species tend to be more peaceful. According to galactic records, no cataloged omnivorous species has exhibited aggressive behavior without direct provocation."
Tila sighed, her shoulders dropping slightly. She knew Kador and Nyxis’s logic made sense, but the worry lingered. "Fine," she finally said, her reluctance evident. "I agree. Let’s wake it. But I still think we need to be extremely cautious."
Kador nodded, satisfied with the resolution. "Caution is always the right approach, Tila. But I believe we’re making the right choice."
Tila looked at the projection of the capsule once more, her mind racing with questions. "But... how are we going to communicate with it? If it’s a completely unknown species, how will we even understand what it says?"
"I’ve already considered that," Nyxis replied, immediately adopting a more technical tone. "I’ve identified a primitive binary sequence stored in the capsule’s onboard computer. It’s a rudimentary pattern, but sufficient to establish an initial communication language. If this being is truly intelligent, it should be able to grasp some basic concepts."
"That sounds... optimistic," Loran said, raising an eyebrow.
"For more complex communication," Nyxis continued, ignoring the comment, "I’ll need to interact directly with the being. Based on anatomical readings, it uses sounds produced by its mouth to communicate, like many other recorded species. Once we have a sample of its language, I can calibrate the universal translator for its species."

First Human Republic -
The darkness gave way to a diffused glow inside the capsule as internal systems began shutting down one by one. The human slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurred, and his body as heavy as lead. He could barely make out the blinking lights on the control panel in front of him. A low mechanical hum echoed inside, followed by a long, deep hiss—the capsule was opening.
Cold mist escaped from the sides as the seal broke, and he inhaled the air as though it were his first breath, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he struggled to catch it. His entire body trembled, every muscle stiff after years of cryosleep. He couldn’t think clearly, only gasping for air and fighting against the suffocating sensation of such an abrupt awakening.
With effort, he sat up, the simple movement feeling like a monumental challenge. His eyes scanned the narrow interior of the capsule as he tried to make sense of where he was. Everything seemed unfamiliar. The surroundings were metallic, with a cold, impersonal glow, unlike any place he had known. There were no windows, just smooth walls and a sealed door. The capsule had done its job of keeping him alive, but the world outside it was a complete mystery.
His still-sluggish mind latched onto a rational thought: his mission tablet. He opened a side compartment in the capsule, his trembling fingers fumbling among the stored items. When he finally found it, he exhaled in relief. The small screen lit up as he powered it on, displaying a simple interface. Thankfully, the nuclear battery was still charged—a small positive in the midst of chaos.
He stared at the tablet, a grim thought crossing his mind. “Was I captured by the rebels?” The thought was logical. Nothing else made sense. But at the same time, the idea didn’t hold up. If that were the case, he’d already be dead. The rebels weren’t known for keeping prisoners alive.
The tablet finally loaded the capsule’s basic data, and when he saw the status screen, his eyes widened. The date was there, as clear as day: ten years. An entire decade had passed. He shook his head, trying to process it, but the confusion was overwhelming.
“Shit,” he muttered, rubbing his face with his hands. He didn’t feel ten years older, but numbers didn’t lie. Taking a deep breath, he murmured to himself, “I need to get out of here.”
With effort, he swung his legs out of the capsule and stood up, but his body didn’t cooperate. He stumbled, his knees buckling almost immediately. He managed to brace himself against the capsule before collapsing, breathing heavily as he struggled to regain balance.
“I’m weak,” he muttered through gritted teeth. His throat felt as dry as paper, and he swallowed hard, only to feel more discomfort. “I need food... and water.”
Before he could do anything else, something caught his attention. A section of the metallic wall suddenly lit up, as if it were an embedded screen. The glow was soft but bright enough to highlight the surrounding space. He didn’t feel fear, only a disquieting discomfort mixed with curiosity.
“What the hell is that?” he asked in a low voice, furrowing his brow as he leaned slightly closer, still unsteady. He was familiar with technology, but this was unlike anything he’d ever seen.
Suddenly, binary codes began appearing on the screen, scrolling rapidly from top to bottom. Sequences of 1s and 0s filled the space, moving in a pattern that felt intentional. He blinked, confused, trying to make sense of it.
“I don’t understand...” he murmured to himself, but his eyes remained fixed on the screen, beginning to sense that it wasn’t just a random jumble of numbers. There was rhythm and logic, as if it were an attempt at communication.
At that moment, the tablet in his hands began blinking with a notification. He jumped slightly, startled, and glanced at the screen: “Unknown access detected. Operating system being accessed remotely.”
“What the hell...?” He tried to shut off the tablet immediately, pressing the power button repeatedly, but nothing happened. The interface remained frozen, the notification flashing in red. He growled in frustration, glaring back at the wall screen as if it were to blame.
Suddenly, the screen went dark, the light disappearing as if it had never been there. The tablet vibrated in his hands one last time before rebooting entirely. The screen went black for a few seconds, and then the system logo reappeared, as if it were starting from scratch.
The silence in the room was broken by a clear and serene voice, cutting through the emptiness with precision: “Hello. My name is Nyxis, and I am the artificial intelligence of the ship you are currently on.”
The human flinched slightly, his eyes scanning the room for the source of the voice. There were no visible speakers, nothing to indicate where it was coming from. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. “Nyxis…” he murmured, then raised his voice. “Where am I? Are you part of the Republic Marines Corps?”
“I do not know what that organization is,” Nyxis replied in a polite tone. “I apologize for accessing the device you removed from the capsule. I attempted to communicate my intentions through the binary codes displayed earlier. The technology of your capsule is advanced in isolation, and I could only access the device once it was disconnected from the capsule. Through that access, I learned your language.”
He chuckled softly, though his exhaustion was evident in his voice. “And now you want to know what I am?”
“Indeed,” Nyxis responded without hesitation, her tone inquisitive.
The human leaned more firmly against the capsule, still breathing heavily. A faint smile crossed his face as he replied, “I think I should be the one asking that question.”
“Understood,” the voice responded unfazed. “I am Nyxis, an artificial intelligence programmed to monitor and operate a merchant ship that is part of the Federation. I can assure you I am not here to cause harm.”
The human raised his head, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Were you created by the rebels? Is this some kind of psychological torture of theirs?”
“I do not know who these rebels are,” Nyxis replied in a calm, yet informative tone. “As I explained, I am part of a merchant ship. My ship and crew belong to the Federation, an intergalactic coalition of civilizations.”
“Federation?” the human repeated, furrowing his brow. “So… you were made by aliens? Is that what you’re saying?”
“Correct,” said Nyxis. “My origin is not human, and I believe this may be considered a ‘first contact’ for you. But I remain curious: what exactly are you?”
He laughed again, more softly this time but no less tired. “Didn’t you figure that out by snooping on my tablet?”
“I have all the data on your physiology,” Nyxis replied. “But that does not answer who you are.”
The human shook his head, realizing the conversation wouldn’t progress without answers. “I’m a human.”
“Interesting,” said Nyxis. “Your species is not cataloged in the Federation’s databases or in any known part of the galaxy.”
Still weak, the human mustered the strength to stand. He forced himself upright, though with difficulty, swaying slightly before straightening up. With a posture that demonstrated effort and discipline, he performed a military salute, his right hand to his forehead—a gesture unfamiliar to Nyxis. “Clone Marine 42785/B,” he said formally.
“You are a clone?” Nyxis questioned almost instantly. “Such practices are prohibited by the Federation.”
“I’m a human clone, modified to serve in the Republic’s Marine Corps,” he explained with a tone that mixed pride and exhaustion. “That was the purpose of my creation.”
After holding the position for a few seconds, he relented, leaning back on the capsule. The weight of his fatigue seemed to grow heavier by the moment. “And this Federation… what exactly is it?”
“According to the records of my species, the Federation has existed for approximately 200,000 years,” Nyxis responded with precision. “It comprises around 60,000 species and their respective civilizations, cooperating in a system of intergalactic peace and trade.”
The human blinked a few times, trying to process the sheer amount of information. He took a deep breath before murmuring, “Well… that’s a lot…”
“I must inform you,” Nyxis continued, “that your blood pressure levels are dropping.”
He chuckled softly, almost humorlessly, as he ran a hand across his sweaty forehead. “That’s what happens when you go ten years without eating or drinking, and then someone decides to wake you up.”
“Based on preliminary data, I can provide something for you to eat and drink,” Nyxis said in a practical tone. “Do you agree?”
The human looked up, letting out a tired sigh but with a faint smile of resignation. “What choice do I have?” he murmured rhetorically, before resting his head against the capsule.

2025.01.24 17:29 ChrisIsEditing I'm exhausted. Can someone please just help me with DuckDns Reverse Proxy?

Hello, I've spent the entire day (yes the entire day) trying to get https on my duckdns domain and have it public facing for my immich server.
I've followed so many yt videos and Reddit threads and forum posts and etc. I've tried many different things to the point where I can't even remember what I put where anymore.
I just wanted a publicly facing https connection with my home server so I could access immich from outside my network. Can someone please just tell me what to do. I don't care how basic or whatever, I feel lost at this point and everywhere I look are no options or ones that lead me to dead ends. It doesn't even have to be duckdns, just something secure (it can use Https) which I don't need to pay for or doesn't make it a huge hassle to use.
Running the server on Debian 12. Tried docker nginx and the apt one, but nothing. Tried certbot on apt Nginx and the built in SSL on the docker Nginx. Nothing works.
Thank you for any info, it means a lot.
