¡Hola amigos del sub! Hoy quiero compartirles mi opinión sobre un tema que no he visto mucho por aquí, pero que tal vez les interese: los videojuegos de carreras de mundo abierto. Esta es solo mi opinión personal, pero me interesa saber qué opinan ustedes. Hoy toca hablar de Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (TDU SC), disponible para Xbox Series X y PS5 y PC
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (2024) Después de 13 años de espera, KT Racing finalmente lanzó la tercera entrega de la serie Test Drive Unlimited. Para quienes no los jugaron, los dos primeros juegos fueron revolucionarios en su momento. Tenías islas enormes como Oahu e Ibiza, mas de 1600 km de caminos, podías entrar a agencias diferenciadas por marca, personalizar interiores y rines, y hasta abrir puertas o encender luces. Era algo increíble para su época, y yo pasé horas jugando TDU 1 y TDU 2 en PC.
Despues de 13 años de espera no tenia muy buenas expectativas la verdad, pero lo vi en oferta en diciembre y lo compre, y la cague muchisimo, les escribire porque:
Lo bueno y lo malo Gráficos y diseño del mapa El juego se desarrolla en Hong Kong, un lugar que prometía muchísimo: autopistas, carreteras de montaña y hasta rutas off-road. Pero al jugarlo, me di cuenta de que este título hubiera sido impresionante... en 2010.
- Gráficos:
- A pesar del poder de consolas como PS5 y Xbox Series X, las gráficas parecen de la generación pasada. Incluso el remaster de Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit se ve mejor.
- El modo "Calidad" tiene problemas serios de FPS. El modo "Rendimiento" es más estable, pero la resolución es tan baja que se notan los pixeles en los autos. Esto no pasa en juegos como Forza Horizon 5 o The Crew Motorfest.
- El mapa:
- Hong Kong se siente genérica y repetitiva, con edificios clonados y poca identidad.
- Lo único decente son las carreteras: hay calles urbanas, tramos de montaña interesantes y un clima dinámico que añade algo de vida. Pero no hay mucho que explorar ni puntos icónicos que descubrir, lo que lo hace aburrido muy rápido.
- Hay una diferenciación notable entre los autos, y el comportamiento está bien simulado (especialmente al frenar en curvas).
- Es algo complicado al principio, pero mejora conforme te acostumbras.
- La IA es bipolar. Al principio es súper fácil ganar, pero después se vuelve ridículamente difícil. Y cuando piensas que todo está perdido, la IA empieza a chocar como si no supiera manejar. Es súper inconsistente.
- El grindeo es ridículo. Cambiar la pintura de tu auto cuesta 30,000 créditos, pero las carreras te dan solo 8,000. Esto significa que tienes que repetir carreras durante 20-25 minutos para algo tan básico como personalizar tu carro.
- Solo hay 100 autos, muchos reciclados de entregas anteriores. Esto es decepcionante cuando su competencia ofrece más de 800 vehículos.
- Los precios de los autos son absurdos, especialmente los modelos modernos.
- Aunque hay detalles como abrir ventanas o usar direccionales, los sonidos de los autos son mediocres.
Conclusión Es una lástima que un juego con tanto potencial termine siendo un desastre. Aunque se podrían perdonar las gráficas mediocres, la falta de identidad en el mapa y la eliminación de características clásicas, el problema principal es que no es divertido.
Si estás buscando un buen juego de carreras de mundo abierto, Forza Horizon 5 o The Crew Motorfest son opciones mucho mejores. Ambos ofrecen más contenido, mejores gráficos y una experiencia de juego muchísimo más satisfactoria.
Calificación: 4/10.
