Last March, I was searching for a job in the EU as a software engineer. I thought it wouldn't be too difficult, but after navigating countless websites and sending out 1000 of applications, I became frustrated with the entire process. I was thinking a long time about Al and how it can improve the process of finding the job and came to idea of creating a product where users can upload their CVs, and the system would find only relevant job opportunities while providing a detailed match analysis.
As I was working in Estonia, I just launched it here, but I want to expend it in other countries. But before it I want to get some feedback about the idea and which countries should be next on my list.
I'd love to hear your honest thoughts - whether it's about the platform, the idea, or your own job-hunting experiences.

 | Applied, interviewed, got the offer for 40k base plus uncapped commissions, passed the drug test and everything on my background check except MVR which I had one too many speeding tickets. Funny thing is I got the speeding ticket that pushed me over the points limit three weeks ago while door dashing to make ends meet. Historically it does not go well for LGBT+ people in these scenarios. I have hope for us, but I'm also not dumb enough to not prepare. I dont know enough about history to know when the smoking gun moment is for lgbt+ people to leave, but I would like someone to point out signs.
Also, please leave resources for those that have no other option but to seek protection or asylum. We need not just links, organizations, contacts, etc, but also, real, tangible, locations, meeting points, safe houses, and other protective elements for those that are most likely to be targeted first. City by city, county by county.

2025.01.24 17:40 AltWeddAcct Are rectal aspirin suppositories an option for Preeclampsia prevention?
14w pregnant after 3 prior miscarriages, unexplained infertility & not tolerating baby aspirin due to my reflux/gerd/Gastroparesis/gastritis issues.
I don't take any pain relief regularly, last time I took ibuprofen 10 yrs ago my endoscopy after showed gastritis + intestinal metaplasia so I never took it again after being advised to avoid.
After taking 2 enteric coated baby aspirin a day for only 1 week with mounting "normal" reflux & being sure to take it w/a full meal & not lie down for 6-7 hrs after, I woke up in the worst pain of my life today. Stomach fully distended, reflux sour & awful, sharp stabbing & burning pains through my stomach from belly button up to sternum when sitting standing or laying.
I know it's likely gastritis vs an ulcer and will be scheduling my GI if adding pepcid and brat diet over the weekend doesn't offer relief.
I reached my OB to see if there were any alternatives but they said they're not aware of any & we'll discuss in 3 weeks at my next appt. I'm terrified of preeclampsia given my medical history/age & wanted to ask if this is possibly a thing I can ask them about?
I worked so hard with my GI & dietician the last 3 years getting my stomach to a good place that I was really hoping to tolerate this better.
- Stats are 37/F 5'5" weigh 200 lbs
- Medications are prenatal, Nexium 2x/day, levothyroxine, extra B12, folate and vitamin d due to tested deficiencies, miralax twice a day for Gastroparesis mgmt (had to stop linzess with pregnancy).
- Issues are hypothyroid, Gastroparesis, GERD, prior Gastritis not active at 2023 endoscopy (prior intestinal metaplasia on biopsy, get endoscopies every 2 years bc of it), constipation, and iron deficiency (starting IV iron infusions again next week).

So on my Yankees team, I have a vintage Ruth 1921 who has the best total offense (C+P+E) on my team. I also have a normal Judge 2017, who’s total offense is about 20 less than Ruths. Both these players have the exact same skills (BBH 6, Spotlight 8 & SI 4). But my Judge outperforms Ruth by about 200 OPS in league mode. Can someone explain why my Ruth is underperforming and Does anyone else have the same problem with Ruth 1921?

Hey everyone,
I recently noticed a noticably loud noise coming from my printer when I start the auto leveling process. It doesn´t impede the calibration and gets quieter to normal levels near the start of the bed leveling process and then stops.
Sounds like a fan or motor struggling (see attached video).
I am glad for any recommendations what to do about this.

She still is NOT touching #4 while nursing, even if her OTHER hand is free and can touch him. On another note, #3 actually has pants on and can hold his own drink.
