2025.01.24 18:33 Mysterious_Sky_5285 What should my parents do in this situation?
My parents were GC holders, my mother moved with me (USC) to India in 2002 and her GC expired in 2006, my father moved to India in 2011 and his gc expired in 2014, both their GC were issued in 1994.
My parents want to visit me in the US and stay max 2-3 months in a year. So they have 2 options: apply for b2 visa or I sponsor their I-130.
I have a couple questions: 1. Considering that their purpose of visit is to visit their USC child and both of them being retired in their 70s with no pension, what’s the probability of the b2 visa getting rejected/approved? 2. Since they have zero interest in moving permanently to the US, will it be possible to maintain LPR status if they lived max 3 months in a year in the USA? 3. Since they never officially renounced their LPR status, is it possible to renew their expired green cards? 4. Can I sponsor their green cards without them having officially renounced their prior LPR status? 5. Since B2 wait times in India are approximately the same as the I-130 processing time, does it make more sense to directly apply for their green cards?

I know there’s so many paths and options for our Rook and their relationship to Solas. So I’m curious as to everyone’s “canon” Rook and how they feel about solas.
My Rook is still the first one I had, Elandor Mercar, ShadowDragon Rogue, whose relationship with Solas is strained because he wants to trust him but knows he can’t. Rook is a sweetheart, always believing in the best in others, even when they don’t make the best decisions, making him a bit naive yet forgiving. That is also why he “redeemed” Solas, sending him to the fade with Lavellan. (In my first play through anyway)
I am curious about all you guy’s “canon” Rooks and what they chose, and why they felt the way they did about solas.

2025.01.24 18:33 chorkmu Pedal with DC jack - only works with 9v battery adapter and not with any power supply?
This is super weird...so I have a bumble buzz wired up which only has a DC jack, no direct battery hookup. When testing, plugging in a 9v with a DC jack adapter, everything works. When I plug it in to a power supply....nothing! And even weirder....the true bypass stops working too? If there's nothing plugged into the DC jack, true bypass still works. what the hell??

I'll be going to final yr mbbs (21 batch). I don't have marrow because I'm financially weak but from tg I got marwah's sir, thameem sir and bhatia sir's videos. I tried seeing all of them, but all of them seems boring. I can't make medicine boring because it's going to be my future. I liked Rakesh Nair sir's lectures and I loved them but unfortunately I don't have marrow and no one is willing to share marrow.
Now my only hope is Books. Please suggest good books to study and understand medicine thoroughly.
Any tips / suggestions are highly appreciated 💯

2025.01.24 18:33 Chemical-Lie7715 $700+ for a long stopover; what can I do?
I was due to fly from Italy to Brazil in December and then from Italy to the south of the U.S. in late January. In the end, I decided to merge the two trips into one, cancelled my booking with ITA and took a substantial loss, and booked a flight from Italy to Brazil via the US. The idea was to avoid 2 spare transatlantic flights and save money overall.
When you book flights with delta to Brazil from Europe via the U.S., delta will allow you to put a a few days between the flight to and from the U.S. at no extra charge. But now, when I’m trying to change the dates of the flight, instead of the €200 flight change fee, they’re asking for $750 to extend the stopover in the U.S. beyond 12 hours.
This obviously is not what I expected. beyond asking a supervisor why this is and what can be done, I have no idea what to do.
Would anyone have any advice what I can do here? Am I missing some magic words?
