I have been on nexplanon for almost 3 years (expiry soon) and I want to explore a different form of birth control. Husband and I are not planning for children at the moment. Nexplanon was great at prevention however, the side effects were rough and it felt like I had one issue after another while on it. I also think it weakened my immune system bc I'm constantly feeling sickly. My gyno prescribed some estradiol patches to use for a month to help stabilize my uterine lining due to prolonged periods (4 weeks of bleeding) and I liked how they worked. I just put a patch on and it didn't move or fall off. I want to know if this is a stable form of birth control and see what some of your experiences are. I've noticed women in the nexplanon subreddit are mostly sick of it as well as I am. Thoughts?

I’ve noticed every winter my husky gets really itchy, and her skin becomes more pinkish. I finally took her to the vet to see if there’s any solutions, and he gave her a cortisone shot and recommended flea preventative. I knew she didn’t have fleas, but the cortisone worked amazingly! It kept her itch free for 3 weeks (which the vet said it would last that long) Well, now that’s worn off and she’s itching again. Any one else’s husky do this? Any suggestions?
Btw, she definitely didn’t have fleas 😒, but she’s still on the flea preventative

Hello everyone,
I am interested in joining the reserves and need some help/clarification. I am a recent graduate of a "military-themed" college obtaining my B.S. in cybersecurity operations. I never tried for a ROTC contract for a number of reasons, mostly because I never thought I would be considering the Air Force.
The biggest reason I want to join the Air Force Reserves is because I want to start a career in cybeintel.
I've done some research and need some clarification on what kind of "reserve roles" the Air Force offers. What I really mean is, can I be in the reserves, work full-time, and have AD pay/benefits (because I want to choose my base location)?
1. Do the reserves offer full-time work (M-F)?
2. Is cybeintel work big in the reserves?
3. Are AD/reserve airmen who are in cyber roles deployed often? Where to?
I understand the OTS stuff and that I would have to do that. Sorry if this is confusing, but I am trying to figure out the differences.
Also for clarification, I would like to be at Joint Base Charleston, SC.
I really appreciate the help!

I have an interesting issue with dpkg when trying to install a certain package. I run sudo dpkg install package.deb, which yields dpkg: dependency problems prevent.... Next, I run sudo apt-get -f install, but this just uninstalls the partial version of the package from the file instead of grabbing the dependencies.

I am so nervous and feel like it’s all a dream. To start out we have a very very blessed home buying situation. We started looking on New Year’s Eve, found the one and put in an offer New Year’s Day, accepted the day after for 7k under asking and seller covers closing costs. We close on the 31st!! It has been such an anxiety inducing thing to get all of our stuff together. I really thought we’d be looking for a good couple of months before finding something but here we are with a week left to go! Our appraisal come back 12k over what we asked and I am incredibly thrilled with that as well. But with all the commotion I have completely drawn a blank on what I need to do the first couple of days in the house. Do people do a deep clean before moving stuff in? What are the things you needed but didn’t have when you first moved in? This will be the first time me and my husband have lived with just each other and not other people in the house. It’s hard to fathom that we will be able to eat at a kitchen table instead of in bed. Or have a couch to cuddle on 🫠 is it normal to be this wired about everything? I’ve found myself in tears over nothing just trying to pack the little things we have 🤦🏻♀️

Anyone from Canada that purchased a Hyundai after the federal $5000 rebate program was over?
Hyundai is willing to subsidize for that rebate and will give the $5000 to all sales before end of January.
I just purchased an Ioniq, the dealership is giving me the rebate, but they require me to sign the federal form that was used to request for the rebate. If the rebate program is over, why am I still signing the form? They said it's for their record. Is this normal process? Is there any downside or risk to signing it?
Sorry, this is my first time purchasing a vehicle and I have been burned before, for signing some paper that turned out to be something it wasn't. Thanks for your time.
