2025.01.27 16:46 swingerlover The Tree Of Life #qabalah #kabbalah #hermeticqabalah
In the time when magic had a bad reputation, Israel Regardie viewed it as a definite scientific system and a profoundly spiritual form of life. In his early twenties (24), he took the responsibility of ensuring that it available to an extensive audience of enthusiastic spiritual seekers. He wanted to elaborate on the basic principles universal to all superstition, notwithstanding of any spiritual course or a particular custom. The outcome was what presents a huge amount of different material in the notably unified whole- the tree of life. Since its first publication, the book has maintained a high rate of demand owing to its accomplished blend of classical wisdom and contemporary magical background. The great work has been diligently edited by veterans of the famous Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn– who strived individually with him. The matter has been defined with commentary, annotations, and informative notes. A brand-new introduction, bibliography, glossary, index, and a treasure of fashionable illustrations exist. Not much is widely known about the symbology ascribed to the Tree of Life during the Assyrian civilization, just that it was hugely important. In most of the famous art, the king or other entities were depicted as caring for the tree with special attention, and it had an important spiritual significance. Most experts theorize that it was a symbol of creation. “The Tree of life remains a work that would be hard to celebrate too profoundly; there is no doubt that it is going to be one of the masterpieces of occultism.” Israel Regardie’s career was so successful and famous that he later became recognized as the man who eliminated the extreme secrecy that surrounded modern occultism and rendered the magical works of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn available to all spiritual enthusiasts. Before his death, Israel Regardie was regarded by many people as one of the chief caretakers of the Golden Dawn culture, a drift of magic and spiritual system that drew many notable occultists of late 19th and early 20th centuries, comprising of Samuel L. MacGregor Mathers, Dr. William W. Westcott, Arthur Edward Waite, Aleister Crowley, and William Butler Yeats. The tree of life is acknowledged by many people as one of the very detailed releases on magic ever documented. More so, it remains an excellent foundation to the subject. Although Crowley had earlier attempted to compose magical writings that were considered readable and easily understandable, he never managed to achieve what was achieved by The Tree of life. On the other way, Regardie’s text is usually termed as necessary for learning the more complex writings of Crowley. According to Francis King and Isabel Sutherland in The Rebirth of Magic: As per Isabel Sutherland and Francis King, Crowley wrote with exceptional precision and coherence on yoga yet is completely magical works are considerably difficult to a reader who is not furnished with full concept of Mather’s Qabalistic practice, the customs of the popular Golden Dawn as well as the experiences of Crowley’s personal life. “The learner got it where the master had lost. Regardie, in 1932, wrote two books, A Garden of Pomegranates and The Tree of life. Many people regarded them as minor occult classics. “We are happy to present this recently annotated and adorned version of Regardie’s excellent text, The Tree of life. For the reader’s benefit, we have added chapter titles. Again, the entire endnotes are ours. Although the past releases of The Tree of life had a bit of illustration, some additions have been supplemented to this latest version. Further, we have added a bibliography, a detailed glossary as well as an index. With The Tree of life, the reader will find a far-reaching examination of the customs of the Western mystic cultures in addition to a bird’s eye glimpse into the philosophy behind those works. In the introduction to his second release, Regardie put down that: “This book has unique significance for me that neither of my other writing ever had.” Going as per this evaluation we wholeheartedly agree, for The Tree of Life has exceptional significance for us too. In particular, out of his all books, The Tree of life appears to denote that bizarre quality of writing that we have never failed to be recognized. Among the pillars of this work is his passion to involve the reader with motivation, his appreciation of divine invocations and mystical poetry, and his insight of the pleasure in the spiritual search for connection with the divine and at the top of all, the selfless desire to bestow what he has learned with others. To be precise, The Tree of life is a precious resource that will make whoever reads it more affluent spiritually. Want Izabael To Cast a Spell For You? 2025.01.27 16:46 Drip_Bun What's your favorite thing about this game?
I like how the characters moves were implemented. Zipping around left and right trying not to get hit as Tracer, making sure no one on your team gets left behind as Lucio, Moira players having a choice between causing harm or helping you at any moment, it's just like the characters are in the lore. It's why I don't hate any character in this game. And it's why I still play Overwatch. (That and the aesthetic cause all the characters are either cute, funny, or badass.)

2025.01.27 16:46 arielmeme Would Survivor be better as one season a year with a bigger budget?
There's been a lot of debate recently about Survivor's current format and whether it’s time for a change. One question that stands out is: Would you prefer one season a year with double the budget, or what we have now?
Looking at shows like Deal or No Deal Island, Claim to Fame, The Traitors, and even Big Brother or Australian Survivor, there’s something undeniably exciting about their once-a-year model. These shows feel like events. We know when they’re coming, and we look forward to them. The anticipation builds up, and when they finally arrive, it's all anyone can talk about. The rare, event-like nature of these shows gives each season a sense of significance.
Now compare that to Survivor and similar shows like The Voice and The Masked Singer, which seem to be always on. When a show feels like it’s constantly airing, it can lose some of the magic. We start to feel oversaturated. The seasons start to blend together, and before we know it, the excitement fades. Sure, Survivor is still a massive fan favorite, but its constant presence on TV might be diluting that energy. The shortened game format, fewer rewards, and budget cuts in the new era are making it harder for the show to maintain its shine.
Imagine if Survivor went to a one season per year model, similar to the others mentioned. Instead of multiple seasons every year, there would be one season, with 39 days, full rewards, and a much higher budget. The hype around each season would be immense. Fans would have more time to process each season, and the show could invest in its production values and gameplay. The excitement would return, and each season would feel like an event—something to look forward to, rather than just another season to get through.
Would this work for Survivor? I think so. Fewer seasons with higher stakes could bring back that old-school magic we miss, while making the show feel more like a big deal again. It could give contestants the chance to play a longer game without the rushed feeling that’s starting to set in with the new 26-day format. Plus, a bigger budget could mean more extravagant twists, better challenges, and possibly a more immersive Survivor experience.
So, what do you think? Would you prefer what we have now, with multiple seasons, fewer days, and budget cuts—or do you think Survivor could benefit from going to just one season a year, giving it the time and resources it deserves? Would this make the show feel more like an event again? Let’s discuss!

Can anyone stationed here give me some insight about the housing on base? Are any of the areas more likely to have more kids for my kids to play with? Areas with bigger back yards for dogs?

2025.01.27 16:46 Queasy_Photograph280 Wich SNES jrpg should i start with
Hi guys, i recently bought a wii u and was looking for some old school rpgs, specifically snes ones like ff, chrono trigger or secrets of mana.
I am unable to decide between starting a playtrough of either chrono trigger or secrets of mana, and i just wanted to hear your opinion since they are pretty long games.
Also, do you even reccomend playing one of these games? I've only played a bit of pokemon and havent ever played any jrpg except for octopat traveler's demo, maybe these games are too old for me to enjoy nowadays (I wasnt even around when they were created so im not even used to playing these tipes of games)
Thanks!

2025.01.27 16:46 coffeewalnut05 Anyone else concerned about WW3?
I don’t really know how we got here, but it makes it real hard to see into the future when leaders all around us seem committed to war.
Why is this relevant/important?
Because we’re pretty much in a Cold War situation with our adversaries. We haven’t escalated to dangerous levels, but the risk has elevated. On top of that, if I voice my worries about the potential for nuclear war, I generally get met with indifference or false accusations regarding my political affiliation.
Does anyone else feel this way? As a young person, I see I have a whole life ahead of me. Getting that life derailed by some delusional politicians’ opinions that they think they can successfully handle or even win WW3, is frankly terrifying.
We already have climate change to worry about; nuclear brinkmanship and dangerous geopolitical pissing contests are the last thing this planet needs.
I’ve emailed my elected official about these concerns but the responses are pretty scripted or even echo my concerns, despite them being in a position of power and able to do something about it…

2025.01.27 16:46 RoyalCounter3 Sneak Peek Test & Changed Due Date
Hey all! I took the Sneak Peek test at 6w4d (based on LMP) and it came back as girl. However today I had my first ultrasound and they changed my due date by a week, so going off the new due date, I guess I would have taken the Sneak Peek test at 5w4d… I know it’s not accurate before 6 weeks, so does that mean my test results could potentially be incorrect? The changing of my due date is what’s confusing me!
