Tengo 17 años y el 27 de diciembre de este año cumplo la mayoría de edad.
En abril tengo que ir a un juzgado por el resultado del ADN de mi papá. Él no quería pasarme la manutención, y una jueza ordenó hacer una prueba de ADN para que, si el resultado era positivo, pueda darme su apellido y así, legalmente, estar obligado a pasarme plata. La prueba la hicimos a principios del año pasado y el resultado llegó bastante rápido. Sí, soy su hija.
El problema, y la razón por la que pregunto si puedo tener responsabilidad sobre mi dinero, es mi vieja. La verdad, no es que no confíe al 100% en ella, pero es una persona que puede llegar a negarme 1000 pesos que le pido para cargar la sube (que uso en su mayoria exclusivamente para tomar cuatro colectivos al día: dos de ida y dos de vuelta al colegio).
La verdad es que llegamos a discutir al punto de que me amenazaba diciendo que cada una tenía que comprarse sus propias cosas para comer (tanto la comida como su propia garrafa). Me lo dijo cuando llevaba 2/3 semanas teniendo 16 años. No tenía acceso ni siquiera a un peso, porque la tarjeta donde va la plata de mi papá está a SU nombre. Solo ELLA puede sacar esa plata (lo cual tampoco sé si tenga que ser así).
Cuando digo que no confío al 100% en ella, es porque sé que no gastaría esa plata en algo como algún vicio suyo. No fuma, no toma, y no tiene pareja a la que "mantenga" con mi plata. Probablemente lo usaria para ayudar a mis hermanos, uno es adicto y el otro esta formando una familia y una casa (los dos sin trabajo, los dos mayores de edad +22 años. Y no, no viven con nosotras). Pero, al final del día, no creo que use toda la plata para eso. Aunque sé que no lo gasta en nada malo, la mayor parte de esa plata no se destina a las cosas que yo necesito. YO: persona a la que esa plata tiene que ir en SU cuidado.
yo me encargo de la casa. Yo limpio, ordeno, mantengo todo, y al mismo tiempo estudiaba en mi 5° año de secundaria mientras hago un curso de informática. Quiero mi plata para poder mantener mi espacio limpio (al final del dia vivo mas sola en mi casa que con mi mamá), comprar detergente para la ropa y los platos, para comprarme una puta remera y no vivir de ropa regalada, para comprarme útiles y no tener que pedir todo prestado en la secu, para no tener que rebuscar billetes de 200 pesos por toda mi ropa para poder sacar una fotocopia para la escuela. Me da miedo pensar que, si así fue casi en mi último año de secundaria, ¿cómo va a ser ahora que voy a empezar el último año y, además, el CVC de la UBA?
No sé si se pueda, y aca está la pregunta que más me importa. Sé que, en la mayoría de los casos de manutención, los menores no pueden tener el manejo directo de la plata. Pero, ¿hay alguna manera de que, al terminar la audiencia por la prueba de ADN, pueda acercarme a la jueza y hablarle de este tema? Quisiera preguntarle si, como una excepción, puedo manejar mi propia plata, con una tarjeta a mi nombre, o que el dinero me sea transferido directamente a mí sin pasar por mi mamá.
Me gustaría intentarlo de una manera que no genere problemas ni dé pie a que intenten quitarle mi tenencia (otra vez).

Cymbalta was the latest in my history of preventative meds that work until they lose efficacy and I can’t stand the side effects of increasing the dose any further (propranolol, amitriptiline, nortryptiline, duloxetine).
I have NEVER had to taper a drug so slowly! I had to decrease dosage in tiny increments, and wait at least two weeks between each taper stage to deal with the paresthesias, dizziness, nausea, etc. I’m more than a week at zero and I still feel like my whole body keeps licking a 9 volt battery. And my brain zaps make noise, which is super annoying.
I wish I had known about the withdrawal symptoms before starting. I do seem to be prone to get every crappy side effect, but this is the first time having crazypants withdrawal. Has anyone else had this tough a time? Did things eventually calm tf down?

So my husband 28 male and I 29 female have been together for three years married for two. We recently had a conflict over his use of alcohol and smoking. It’s like if we went to a strip club and someone talked to either of us there. I personally don’t think he would brush off me talking to a male creator the way these females say stuff to him. I don’t know how to approach it without sounding controlling but to me it’s almost like cheating because you are actually having a conversation with someone and not just watching a video or looking at a picture.

I'm from a very small town in Georgia and I just recently got a job in the Brentwood area. I was very excited about "moving to the city" until I looked at the apartments there. Ho-ly SHIET. Pretty much every apartment complex I've researched is either 5x beyond my budget, OR it'll be within my budget but built in the '60s and infested with roaches, has constant shootings, murders, and daily carjackings. I tried visiting a few apartments within my budget and boy they were super scary. During one of my tours, I saw a drug deal happening right there in the parking lot and I got outta there real quick.
Look, I get it. It's the city and I'm from out of town so things are gonna seem super different for me. I'm just looking for some help picking an apartment that hopefully isn't too expensive but also one that I hopefully won't die in. I'll only be making $18 an hour, so please don't laugh but I'm looking for an apartment for around $1,200-ish. Yes, I know, this number is quite low for the area and I'm fully aware of that. This is why I need your help.
I am a simple beggar just asking for your kind assistance in helping me choose an apartment that hopefully won't be my last. Commuting is fine, as long as it doesn't take me 2 hours to get to work. Please help.
