I have worked for a company for 5 years now and love the company and people, I am 27 now and have applied multiple times to higher positions in the company only to be told someone else was better. I see no future with the company and the pay is around 30k, I have found another job which pays much more. Should I speak to my manager before I hand my notice in or just email them ? They have treated me well but I just see no future here anymore as the company is going through a merger and we all might need to re apply for our jobs.

2025.01.27 05:18 ConsistentCoat9867 Bolt action - hard to extract. Normal?
I just bought a Ruger American on 22lr. Excited to take it to the range but haven't yet.
At home I loaded the mag and tried to cycle a few rounds through the action. When the bolt is moving backwards, the rounds are stuck on the extractor (don't fly out)
After watching a few videos I honestly a technique that if I pull the bolt back quickly enough the round will eject like 70% of the time. But if I don't do it forcefully or sometimes.even if I do, it sticks to the ejector and I have to pry it off with my fingers.
I found some videos of different bolt action a that suggest that even a slow notion of the bolt rearward should enable you to unload the gun. So seems like I have a problem with mine. Or is this how it's supposed to be.

 | I‘m a relative beginner and am a bit confused from todays tsumego on Tsumego Pro. You‘re supposed to be black. First picture is the starting puzzle. Second shows the solution according to the app. White just took the corner capturing the stone so I can‘t recapture there. Connecting my stones would be a suicide move removing all my liberties. As far as I see the best thing black can do is tenuki or extend from it‘s wall onto the sides but that corner is done and white can create eyes no problem. This doesn‘t lead to seki either unless I‘m mistaken. Could someone explain the advantage black gets by playing this?
