I realize this is true for most things in life, but when I watch I can’t help but think that the contestants who have more free time and money to practice their recipes outside of the weekly competition must have a pretty clear advantage to the contestants who have less money to spend on practice ingredients and less time to spend on practice due to family, work, caretaking, or other obligations.
Does GBBO normalize for this in any way?
Anyone else consider this while watching?

I was in Europe and moved to Korean last year. It has been 5/6 month and I have met so many Cheaters in game. Usually they play hanzo widow or bastion. I'm not talking about xaim(or however this is spelled) I'm talking about hard head/body lock and walls. I been playing since OW2 release and I have never met a significant recognisable cheater in Europe. And now I had 2 game in a row with cheater against me today. And they are not even bothered to pretend. None of my report has any feedback, Does anyone know why? Is blizzard just letting this happen?

You might be wondering how I found myself in this predicament. Well it all started while on a job to recover some data for a woman named Helena who represents Reliant Medical. Long story short, the mission was successful and I applied justice where applicable. Upon me leaving Gargarin I happened up the Security offices. I have the Crew takes Contraband mod by Korodic(it's great please download it) so I thought this would be my opportunity to gain more XP. As I liberated said illicit goods my inner told me that I would have to fight for my bounty.(I have a mod that gives me an inner self) rather then get arrested I ran for my ship as security chased me laughing to myself all the way because security was not even close to me so I don't know how he knew I took anything but I digress. As I entered my ship believing I was free and clear I noticed my crew mates had health bars in red. Odd but they didn't move so I ignores it. I sat down to take off and as I was setting off to go to my next adventure I was betrayed. Finn Drexler and Kai Robert's shot me out of my seat seemingly agents of the UC security. The so called "New Crew" did what Andreja and Sara could not do: Make me pay for my actions. I saved their lousy misbegotten lives from that rock on Bondi and this is how they do me? I didn't save before they did me in but when I redo the mission they will pay a heavy price for their perfidious actions and no amount of shameless flirting(seriously its embarrassing) will save her brother. And though I am reluctant to punish the only black crew mate save Hadrian, Finn has shown no Brotherhood to me so his life is forfeit. And the worst part is the game rules you dead even though you have half your health. You are in a state of mostly dead and they keep shooting your half corpse.🤬

2025.01.29 05:51 Neat_Maintenance_632 ESP32 with Embedded Screen Not Connecting

I’ve got an ESP32 with an embedded screen (no separate pins, just the display). I’ve been trying to get it working with the Arduino IDE, but I’m stuck. Here’s what’s happening:

The ESP32 isn't showing up in the Arduino IDE when I try to upload a sketch. It's connected via USB, and I’ve tried different cables and ports but nothing works.
I’ve followed the process to enter bootloader mode, pressing and holding the BOOT button, plugging in the USB, and then releasing the BOOT button after a couple of seconds.
However, the screen stays blank, and I don’t see anything in the Arduino IDE or Device Manager saying the board is recognized.
In Device Manager, I see COM1 (idk if thats it or not), but when I try to upload, I keep getting the "Failed to connect to ESP32" error in the IDE.
even tried running esptool to erase the flash, but no luck.

I feel like I’m going in circles. Does anyone have a fix?

I saw stardust cookie on my sister’s account while she was playing and I was so mesmerized by his character design. A month later and he’s the only one I havent gotten yet. I grinded so much star jellies so I could finally get him on the anniversary wish banner but I only got duplicates of almost every cookie. I hoped I would get him as my guaranteed on that banner but I got a copy of the stormbringer guy instead. I just want stardust :<

After a wild weekend, I turned my attention to $ANF. The stock recently dropped almost 20%, and while I’m not entirely sure why—maybe it’s just profit-taking as the new year kicks off combined with possible fears of inflation—I see a potential buying opportunity here. Company guidance appears strong heading into 2025, with management reporting solid holiday demand and positive sales trends. They’ve also got a tailwind from the NFL playoffs and upcoming Super Bowl, thanks to their NFL license for unique apparel offerings, which should help pad their stats this quarter. Along with 5 analysts revising their earnings upwards for the upcoming period.
On the fundamentals side, this is exactly the kind of company I like: since ’23, they’ve shown consistent revenue growth, profit growth, and free cash flow growth, all underpinned by an impressive gross margin, and cash flows sufficiently cover interest on debt. If the economic backdrop and consumer spending remain resilient, 2025 could deliver more of the same. Right now, the stock trades at a P/E of around 11 and boasts a free cash flow yield of about 8–9%—roughly double what you’d get from a U.S. Treasury.
Of course, the biggest risk is a slowdown in consumer spending or a broader economic downturn. I suspect valuation got a bit stretched, and jitters over inflation and rising bond yields may have scared some investors away. But with shares finding support around the 120 level, the risk/reward is starting to look enticing. It’s definitely something I’m keeping on my watchlist. As always, do your own research—but this one looks interesting to me.
