I've been thinking about what the eldritch force is that has appeared on the Dreadnaught and after seeing the key art today i think it may be an Ammonite.
The exotic SMG we get is literally an Ammonite Fossil adapted to be a gun. The whole thing of it is taken blights and seekers. Why would an Ammonite powered gun have taken power?
We can see in the key art for Heresy that the Dreadnaught is wrapped in tentacles which have a Taken aesthetic and the area is dotted with what look to be Shrieker Eyes. Could these eyes be the eyes of this Ammonite Tentacled Taken Beast?
The whole vibe of the key art gives off a pirate ship that has been sunken by a great Kraken. The Eyes, the Tentacles, The Chains. It just seems to fit.

My local area has just set this up. It seems like such an amazing idea. You pay a small annual fee to join and you can 'borrow/ rent' all sorts of things. Diy tools, electric equipment, bicycles, small household appliances like air fryer, vacuums, steam cleaners. Trade tools/ machines. Gardening equipment, sewing machines. And more. They add stuff all the time that people donate/ they get funding/ money donations to buy things / members fees to buy new stuff to add to the 'library'.
It's good for the environment, people on limited income that otherwise couldn't afford to buy items, items we buy that we don't regularly need to use.
I had never heard of anything like this before now. I wanted to know if it's a thing that's common in other places/ countries. I'm in a small city in the UK and the local council has set it up.

I am semi-retired (over 70) and no longer do much reimbursable flying. However, I have over 400,000 miles saved. I am about 40,000 miles short of getting my lifetime million miles (permanent gold status). Given limited business flying plus my personal award mile flights, does it make any sense do a mileage run to get my lifetime gold status (to upgrade to better seating). I could do a couple round trips from Wash. DC to Singapore and likely get very close to qualifying, but does such a mileage run make sense to get lifetime gold status that will largely be limited to using my current award miles?

For every. single. one.
It makes no sense? Why am I getting met with this completely out of nowhere when my games the previous few times have captured just fine? I've changed no settings; It's the same exact presets as I had last time I had Medal open and had it WORK. I've tried troubleshooting and doing everything I can to mitigate the problem, but every time I feel like I've successfully mended the issue, it comes back from left field on the clips I yearn to see the most as early as the next hour.
It doesn't help that Medal doesn't even have a feature built into the software or even an option in the settings that works as an "Emergency Clip Fallback" or something that whenever you press your clip hotkey, if your game is still 'Out of Focus' it'll force a capture of your monitor(s) so you can still get the clip you tried getting AT LEAST. ^ There's a little improv suggestion while writing this.
It's just so heart crushing when you finally get that one awe-inspiring clip, just for you to ram full speed into a titanium wall.

Hey , I'm a compositing artist currently at DNEG. 23M [ DNEG is a Post Production house where they have worked on Movies like Dune , Venom , LoTR - S2 , Interstellar and what not its a big 4 in visual effects]
So i wok on Hollywood projects and all , the exposure im getting from this company is good but company treats Indians as labours.
10 - 14 hrs avg we do , Im a junior so i get 13k stipend ( should have been more than that but company / industry situation was bad so they didnt raise )
Even after the raise i will get max 45k which is significantly less than what i work and how accurately work.
But in todays date company is buying freedom of people everyone works for 15hrs.
I do understand lil bit of coding graphics ui ux etc.
My family is asking me fo fly to Australia for Masters. Do any masters but dont stay in India ( cause of work life balance)
But question is - 1) im not sure masters move is good or no and will i even get a job over there or no. Since world so fluctuating. 2 ) if masters then apart from MBA in design and UI UX related masters what else i can do ？ 3 ) Where i can go if not compositing in India？
I feel since im 23 i quickly graps the software's and complications of it. I dont even have a fear of coding ( fear of math tho if its extremely complex such as calculas )
I feel management is something i can do with the personality i have but at same time im lil into tech too. As a comper i always keep on learning about software pipeline and all.
I have only 4 months to take decisions , in this process or to get this dneg i lost all of my frnds and connections worked sooo hard to nail it and i did but didn't know it's this fucked.
