 | Bought a 2016 Hyundai Elantra sport from a Hyundai dealer over the summer with 87,000kms (54,000 miles) for 11k, and I’ve since put on about 4,000kms. Car was completely fine for a while until I started hearing a noise that would happen when I started the car & would not go away. I took it to Hyundai and they charged me for an inspection and told me it was my ac compressor seizing (2500 out of pocket, yes I know I should’ve went elsewhere but we live and learn). noise didn’t go away. emailed the service manager and they suggested I go back for them to take another look and so I did. And they told me my car has normal head top noise? I wasn’t buying it because the car did not sound like this when I first bought it. Took it to a private mechanic who diagnosed the issue in 5mins. Emailed Hyundai and they looked at it again and said they disagree with the mechanic that told me that but will take a look into it again as there was a recall for this engine and low and behold I had the issue. Free engine got installed didn’t pay a dime. Terrible experience with dealer and I had my partner ask them if the ac compressor was actually seizing and they said it was. (Not sure if I believe it my ac was working heat was working nothing was stopping from what I saw) but I trusted them. And to this day im not sure if it was actually seizing. With the new engine installed, is the likelihood of this issue happening again high if anyone’s experienced this? I’m not too educated on engines. But im not sure if I should trade this car in and take my losses (I’ve put in 3500 in new wheels and ac compressor) and get something with a different engine like a venue. submitted by RoundDig5750 to Hyundai [link] [comments] |

Let me give you a rundown
I’m a sophomore in college and i am fundamentally lazily. am i ambitious? yes. i worked my way into a top 25 university. though as soon as i heard that the sat was optional, i stopped the idea all together. i dont like extremely hard work.
i know im “smart” but in the intuitive way. i can put themes and concepts together to give you a general picture, an overview. but when it comes to systematic logic, minute details, it’s as if my brain is underdeveloped in that way due to my habits of constantly cutting corners to get by. when i read passages i dont fully understand what was said. i don’t pick up on the details. it’s like my brain generates a very vague sense of understanding and i know this is the exact opposite of what i need for this test.
knowing all of this about myself, i’ve decided to start studying for the lsat now. yes now. a year and a half early. i know it sounds crazy and probably stupid, but i know myself and i know my goals. i want a 175+ and, based on what i’ve seen in this subreddit, studying even 6-9 months in advance will not be enough for me to achieve this score. i believe the only way i will succeed is if i commit the entire test to memory. i want my brain to be a filing cabinet from which i can pull out any and every piece of information about the lsat at any given time. i want to dedicate at least 1 hour a day till next summer to this.
what should my study plan be? how should i structure it? anyone who was in a similar boat pls lmk.

I realize this is true for most things in life, but when I watch I can’t help but think that the contestants who have more free time and money to practice their recipes outside of the weekly competition must have a pretty clear advantage to the contestants who have less money to spend on practice ingredients and less time to spend on practice due to family, work, caretaking, or other obligations.
Does GBBO normalize for this in any way?

I was in Europe and moved to Korean last year. It has been 5/6 month and I have met so many Cheaters in game. Usually they play hanzo widow or bastion. I'm not talking about xaim(or however this is spelled) I'm talking about hard head/body lock and walls. I been playing since OW2 release and I have never met a significant recognisable cheater in Europe. And now I had 2 game in a row with cheater against me today. And they are not even bothered to pretend. None of my report has any feedback, Does anyone know why? Is blizzard just letting this happen?
