Hi. My dad's long-term girlfriend has been diagnosed with a leaking heart valve, amongst other serious issues. After a year of meetings with surgeons they have concluded that it's too risky to operate as they don't believe that she will survive the surgery. It looks like she'll just get progressively worse until she passes away. To add to her problems, she's in a bit of trouble with the bank regarding her mortgage, which expired when she was 65 but somehow managed to pay just the interest until now (75) and the bank have finally threatened her with repossession. She intends to sell some of the houses she rents out to fund the arrears, but is in need of some immediate cash to keep the sheriff at bay until the houses are sold. I've got some money I can spare (~50k) and am happy to lend it to her while she sorts her finances out. However, I suspect that when she repays the money and if she dies within 7 years (almost certainly) that this repayment would be subject to inheritance tax? Would drawing up contract allow me to legally prove that this was a loan repayment and not an inheritance to avoid it? Also, I'm worried that if she dies before the repayment, her biological children won't honour the debt from their inheritance from her, as they're quite greedy people. They have been urging her to write a will, but she is refusing as she considered that as her "giving up" on surviving the condition. Therefore, I guess her estate will just be split amongst them. Any advice on how to approach this would be appreciated, as I'd like to help her out but this is a significant portion of my life savings. Thank you.

We are the host, we SHOULD be the most dominating team. The bar is high cuz it'll be good if we won the CT but cuz everyone is just expecting us to win it, it would be a whole different level of embarrassment if we lost it after being the most dominating ODI team for the past 4 months.
Batting is probably my worst fear rn. No saim is a HIGE blow. In all the ODIs, he was the one giving us a headstart. I've been excited for that saim and fakhar opening pair for so long but then saim got injured 😔.
What if it's just those garbage ass flat pitches again and our bowling goes for 90 in the first 10 overs???
I'm actually more excited to be playing in Dubai against India cuz our performances there have been pretty good.
Idk man, maybe I'm being a little pessimistic but like, we don't even know what the pitches will be like. Will it spin? Or is it gonna be a nice grassy/bouncy pitch cuz the weather rn is gonna be supporting it.
We do have the tri series tho. I'm a big believer that confidence is really important in sports. I fear they have lost confidence in the batting cuz saim is now gone.
Saim was a great aggressive batsman, we only have fakhar now. Players like KG will take the tullar route in hopes of filling that hole that saim left and just do a rishab pant and get out 20(15).
Chalo, the ODI form of our players is good except naseem. Imma hope for the best. insha'Allah we will defend the title 🫡

Montei ontem meu primeiro pc e deu imagem de primeira. No entanto notei que assim que ligou/entrou na BIOS uma luzinha branca piscava e dps ficou acesa mesmo. O que isso poderia significar? Sei que o cabo hdmi deve ir na placa de vídeo, mas eu utilizo apenas do processador com vídeo integrado no momento, por isso coloquei o hdmi na placa-mãe. Preciso mudar algo?
Também vi algumas pessoas falando que essa luz aparece quando não se liga o monitor primeiro, e mesmo o ligando antes, essa luz da placa mãe ainda aparece.
