The DHMC portal website has been down since yesterday, and the Epic Chart app also won't allow you to login. I haven't seen anything on DHMC's website about this. Curious if anyone else is seeing the same issues, or if anyone has heard anything about it?

Hey everyone, new to this community and thinking about building or buying my first van, mainly for multiday trips around the west coast, transport to hiking trails, and also as a vehicular go-bag, zombie apocalypse vehicle in case I ever need to quickly leave town for any multitude of reasons. My main criteria - it needs to be 4wd, sleep 2 people and a dog semi-comforably, and have storage enough for at least 1 week out of town.
I am not particularly crafty or handy, and I live in a small 1 bed and I doubt my landlord would be happy with me renovating a van in the parking lot, so I am thinking about buying a prebuilt one. Still open to the idea of building but I feel that it might end up being more trouble than its worth.
I am mainly posting to ask if there are any good resources for someone like me. I need to know the different aspects of vandwelling, what to consider, what I might need / not need in a vehicle, and what kind of features are availble these days. If that's too open-ended maybe some build guides would be of use.

I was possibly thinking a RTX 4080 (4090 is hard to find/way to expensive) or 5080 if I can get one when it comes out. The rest looks good I think.

Since you can’t drive in to Golden Ears anymore, my favourite hikes have become pretty much impossible within the timeframes I have free… the hike to Mike Lake as a junction takes way too long. I started feeding them about 4 days ago, which is about a week or so after I put them in soil.
