Curious as I think Letterboxd taste tends to have a bit more overlap with Reddit than say IMDB/RT/Metacritic, so hoping to get more truly outside the usual groupthink answers and discussions. Plus only a very small handful of 4.0's and above each year also weeds out some of the answers I usually see on these posts (CODA, Crash, incoming EP for the next 100 years, etc.)

2025.01.30 23:12 ATShields934 Fanless/ventless Snapdragon Laptops
Has anybody noticed a particular lack in the fanless laptop department? When Snapdragon first announced the X series chipset, I was really excited to see laptop OEMs begin to focus more on laptops that you can actually use on your lap. Much to my disappointment, other than the Microsoft Surface laptop, it still seems like every Windows computer that comes out has some sort of fan or air intake pulling from the underside of the laptop. Hoping that it wouldn't be an issue, I ended up buying the HP OmniBook X to replace my MacBook, because generally I really do prefer Windows to MacOS, but the second I went to use the laptop on anything other than my desk or lap desk, which I find uncomfortable, the fans ramped up all the way, and the laptop sounded like it was going to take off in flight.
Is anybody else frustrated like me, and hoping for more fanless options in the future?

2025.01.30 23:12 ScalePlenty9663 Possibly 3rd loss/2nd EP. Feeling so lonely/anxious
I had a missed miscarriage in Sept 2023, and an ectopic pregnancy in Jan 2024 & lost 1 fallopian tube. Now, I'm currently pregnant with a suspected ectopic pregnancy again.
I went to the ER because of severe pelvic pain in my remaining fallopian tube and spotting. The initial ultrasound only determined a mass with free liquid. They couldn't tell if it was a cyst or a placenta. The Dr said I could take the medicine to terminate the pregnancy now but that she only brought it up as an option because of my history, not because this is something she would recommend to a regular patient. If I take the medicine now and it turns out that the baby is in the uterus, we would have to terminate later on because of birth defects. If this is an ectopic pregnancy and we don't catch it in time, I will lose my availability to ever have children naturally. I'm not interested in IVF.
So, currently, I'm waiting 48hrs to test HCG levels again & continue waiting until a 2nd ultrasound can tell us more. The wait is excruciating!!! The pelvic pain went away and the spotting decreased so idk if to get my hopes up or jst expect another loss & no living children after 10yrs of marriage.

- Introduce "ATOM Aligned Apps (AAA)" and Burn a Portion of the Community Pool Burning part of the Community Pool will directly increase the value of $ATOM. 90% of the remaining are moved to the "ATOM Aligned Apps (AAA)" fund for supporting high-quality projects. The AAA is not a venture fund, meaning it doesn't focus on profits; its objective is the strategic development of Cosmos Hub with value-adding projects. Why is this important? It prevents unproductive expenses on weak projects. Increases the value of $ATOM through burning and more productive use. Ensures that only effective projects receive funding after passing the stringent selection processes. Sets transparency and accountability for better financial governance. ConclusionThis is a key step further, introducing some real oversight in the way funds are allocated and reserving financial support for only high-impact projects. If passed, this significantly strengthens the future of Cosmos Hub and drives its long-term growth.

I’ve been on wellbutrin XL since July 2022 starting at 150. October 2022 made my why to 300 Feb 2024 upped my dosage to 450 and holy crap the difference in my hair from Jan 2024 to Jan 2025 is actually concerning and depressing 😭. My hair has constant breakage I brush my hair and a lot comes out. It’s thin and people ask if have cut my hair 💀(which I don’t). My diet is the same no new medications I don’t dye/bleach my hair just heat but I’ve always used heat my whole life. Went to the doctors and she just told me to take prenatal vitamins and lower my dosage back to 300. I was just wondering if anyone else has add this problem and if they have advice like should I just stop taking it period?
TL;DR
Upped dosage to 450 started losing hair. Anyone else have this problem or advice?
