Hey yall!
I overstayed my F1 visa. I’m currently married to a USC and we have our AOS pending PD September 24. My case is at my local FO since November.
How do I know if I have an old deportation order? I’ve been out of status since 2019. It’s driving me nuts honestly I need to know lol.
Is it safe to say i’m good since my I485 hasn’t been rejected yet? Will it be rejected soon after applying? Or could it happen at any moment?
The A number the USCIS gave me shows no records, but my lawyer said I may have a different A number IF i have a deportation order.
Any help is appreciated 💙

- Interested in the concept (Most important which means you don't actually need to have experience in anything to reach out to me)

- experience in circuit design
- experience in programming microcontrollers
- experience in 3D printing or CAD
- experience in product design
- experience in marketing
- experience in PCB design (I don't really know if we will end up at this stage this early into the project)

Been on LTD since March, 2024. I kept extending my return to work (RTW) date as I haven't been making much of a progress in terms of my health. In the 9th month of my LTD, my employer emailed me saying my employment would be terminated if I didn't get back to work asap and they were starting the backfill process for my role. I was in a terrible state and wasn’t ready to get back to work but i was being jobless was the last thing i wanted so i wrote back saying I'd get back to work on my already approved RTW date, which was just 3 weeks away and wouldn't extend it this time. They responded saying they have already started the backfill process and they cannot guarantee my employment if I don’t get back asap. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled with my provider before getting back to work and I thought I'd get back to work after seeing him and getting his advice. I also needed some paperwork from him to get back to work and in order to get that asap i couldn’t reschedule my appointment to an earlier date as this was all during the holiday season.
Just within a week of sending the initial email, my employer sent the employment termination email and just like that I was no longer their employee by that evening. To make it even worse, all of this happened right before Christmas & ruined my entire holiday season, which anyways wasn’t going to be great.
I’m just confused about how did my employer do this when I was already on an LTD which has been approved by the third-party insurance provider, my treatment team, and even my company itself? How could they do this to someone who is already struggling so much in life? Is this even allowed? I feel like I am literally thrown under the bus! Is there anything that I can do here or should I just accept my fate?

Just wondering what everyone sets here. Often drugs say 4 to 8 weeks. If a drug makes you feel miserable, you're meant to ride it out. But might also risk unwanted long-term changes I suppose.

Hello! I’m coming on here for some advice on the Tarva bed. I know I’m not the only person that has struggled with the slats constantly falling down but I am wondering if anybody has some advice on what can replace the slats? I really don’t want to keep them and in my head I’d like to buy a thin sheet of wood but is that even practical/possible? Please let me know thank you!
