2025.02.01 18:51 Limitlies89 Christian Friend labelled me as a hater for asking for an apology?
I met this christian individual last April (im christian too but thought id emphasize that) at the library and we shared a lot about each others lives over the last close year. Just recently, he asked if I was a liberal or conservative and I said liberal (he's a conservative) then said I was probably a liberal due to my dad to which I responded (not entirely but partly yes that does have an influence).
When he asked how much in terms of percentage I said I don't want to quantify it and he immediately said "im gonna guess a lot LOL" and continued on the convo. I asked him to apologize the next day for him assuming it was solely due to my father and he didn't like that which led to him ending the friendship. We met in person and he further solidified his point of not wanting to apologize. He even went as far as to say I have low self esteem and im trying to bring him down to my level by asking him to apologize.
For context, he came to me about a bunch of personal things regarding his love life and personal advice and ive always gave him the advice id want to hear and it was always in his best interest. Not once did I ever look at him in a bad light or try to "bring him down". Even after this all happened, he's still running on this narrative that im his biggest hater and he now dresses up in dress shirts to school and has told him friends his version of the story which basically portrays me as a loser and his friends sort of believe it.
When I see him I still greet him by giving him a handshake and he has this serious look on his face always and doesn't look me in the eyes. I can tell he wants to portray me as a losehater (he even said it himself. He said im trying to bring him down to his level because I have low self esteem). advice ?

I (32F) have been with my bf (31M) for around 10 years now. But around 2020, things got really bad - he was let go from his job, failed to tell me when we were supposed to move into an apartment together. Then got severe depression and he turned to alcohol to deal. Throughout this period I supported him financially. I moved to another state for my job around 2 years ago and he finally got a job. We are currently doing long distance and he complains about being lonely, I am still really scarred from his depression and brief alcoholism and have reasons to believe that he is turning to booze again to deal with the loneliness. I really feel like breaking up with him, he is a great guy overall but I can't take the emotional stress anymore. What should I do ?

 | Hello! I recently got a new house and plan on doing Reolink only cams around it. This will be my first property, and first time setting up a security system properly. First thing I plan on is getting the doorbell. Other than that, I’m looking for suggestions on what cameras you may suggest to cover my other bases. In front of the main entry way, I have my driveway 2 car lengths deep and across, no actual garage. I have a house on the right, approximately 10 feet in between us. It is about the same on my left as well. I also have a decent sized fenced in back yard. Any suggestions would be great! Okay I’m on day 15 of a starter and for a minute it was smelling like sourdough, however since I started using whole wheat flour to help promote yeast it’s started to have this sweet smell and a little bit of sourdough but it’s fading. Is the sweet smell because of the whole wheat flour? Or is it trying to tell me something?
