Hi, so I'm 19F and my ex is 18M. We broke up last sunday (he broke up with me). The thursday following that, he came over to mine for some closure. Bare in mind, he's quite stubborn and always keeps his word.
He told me that we broke up due to my RSD chipping away at him over time. (Rejection sensitivity disorder). In the last 2-3 months of our relationship, I was really consciouslly and subconsciously making changes with it, (it's super difficult to and painful). He told me it was too late and I understood. I teared up a bit, as one does, he came over and comforted me. I asked if he still loved me and he said yes but it wasnt enough due to the RSD being so powerful. My RSD has been hard to control but i have been managing it but he just couldn't cope anymore.
We laughed, hugged and kissed. I then asked the question of if it's possible that we'd ever get back together, slowly ofc. He said it wasnt unlikely but not likely as he still needs to process the breakup and I totally understand. When we stood up he picked me up and we had a really nice hug, it was then he said 'maybe we JUST need time'. Time to get our personal shit sorted, eg work, uni, red, co-dependence. I agreed and asked if we could talk on his birthday which is one month from now. I'd like to say I've been doing pretty well with managing my co-dependence and valuing myself. He told me that he trust my judgement of when to text him to talk and he was pretty sure this wasn't the final goodbye.
What do you guys think? A month to process and manage our problems to then get back together sounds reasonable right? I'm not going to push him for a relationship if he doesn't want it ofc but a lot can change in 1 month. Anyway feel free to give me your opinion.

for some context i'm an ibdp student in the middle east, im half way into the second semester and am wondering when i should take my ielts and sats test, im planning to study in the country so do i need to take the ielts test? (bc i heard that you dont need the ielts test if youre not planning on studying abroad) someone please explain the difference between these two tests because no matter how much i search i get different results. hope i dont sound dumb i just dont know who to ask. thanks

The fact is that the rabbis had a saying that said that a man who forgave his fellow man three times was a perfect man. As Blessed Theophylact explains, “the word ‘seven times a day’ is put here instead of ‘many times’... And that ‘seven times a day’ is used in that sense is evident from the Gospel of Matthew (18: 21-22). For there, when Peter said: “Lord, shall I forgive him (my brother) up to seven times?”, the Lord said: “Not to seven times, but to seventy times seventy,” signifying by this the innumerable number of times. But is every person to be forgiven? And here the answer is simple - no. Only the one who asks for forgiveness. And what to do if a person does not realize his guilt and therefore, due to circumstances, does not think to come up and ask for forgiveness? And here the Lord wisely exhorts: Speak to him; and if he repents, forgive him (Luke 17:3). The Greek word used in this text is επιτιμεω [epithimo], which means “to reprimand,” “to rebuke,” “to scold,” or “to forbid.” In a certain sense it is used in pastoral practice as a moral and corrective measure - epitimia. Thus, we can conclude that the word “reprimand” means a deep moral conversation aimed at correcting a person's behavior, and not just an emotional statement with shouting and threats. 2025.02.01 18:50 Lxslxs Received two emails: one that I was in processing forbearance and, later, one that my IDR app was received — am I in forbearance??
I'm on SAVE (117/120) and submitted an app to switch to IBR following the wet signature instructions from this sub. Others who had submitted after me mentioned having received confirmation from MOHELA, but about a week passed and I heard nothing, so I submitted again electronically to see if something would happen. Sure enough, within a day I received an email from MOHELA saying my app had been received and I was in a 60 day processing forbearance as of the day I submitted my wet signature app. Small victory!
Then today, three days later, I got another email from MOHELA saying they'd received my IDR app, presumably the electronic one.
Does anyone have any idea if there is any way to tell by looking at my account if I am still in the processing forbearance? I do not have it in me to sit on hold with MOHELA, and so if that is truly the only option I may just give up and live in uncertainty at this point. This is such a nightmare.
