2025.02.01 20:31 futuresverse When did everyone get so good at combos?
I took a lil break from the game after reaching S3 and thought I was still decent but I just hopped back on to play some quick matches and I’m getting packed up by B ranks.
These guys combo me for 10 seconds straight, rolling hammer into leg sweep into flying kicks into who knows what else and God forbid I lose the vanish war cuz they just push me to the ground and when I get up I have my back turned to them and they just repeat that combo for another 10 seconds. Obviously I can super counter and I’d say I’m better than average when it comes to super countering in vanish wars, but it feels like pure luck to do it in the middle of a combo. I might just have to start playing characters with Explosive Wave or something.
Anybody else feel like this?

Sure the plot is quite brain dead and they sucked the vibe out of most returning areas, and Oswald's ai sucks balls, but Epic Mickey 2 had some interesting stuff in its own right that'd be cool to revisit, areas like: disney gulch, the floatyard, fort wasteland and autotopia namely were pretty cool, two route projectors, voice acting, co-op, post game, content, etc. I wouldn't mind seeing it again with qol changes maybe like improved Oswald ai, reducing the repetitivness of hints, improved controls and moves. Idk i'd be down with it!

Need to confirm some suspicious behavior of my wife before confronting her.
Short:
I suspect some medication abuse from my wife. She had her prescription filled about a month ago and I noticed the bottle was very full. Out of curiosity, I check the label and see that it's a 90 day script with instructions to take 2x a day AM/PM as needed. So, 180 pills in total.... makes sense. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I find myself reorganizing the medicine cabinet and I notice that once very full bottle is now about half empty and certainly not on pace to last 90 days. From this point, I find myself monitoring the progress of this bottle. 2 more weeks go by (a month in total from date of refill), and the bottle is now empty, which is concerning. This alone had me thinking "I need to confront her and see what's up". But, there's more - after a couple days of the bottle sitting in the cabinet empty, it magically has pills in it again. However, these are not the same pills. So, i check the pill in comparison to the pill description on the bottle, and they do not match. I google the pill and see it's the same medication but it's a different and lighter dosage. Either way, it seems clear that she refilled the original bottle with a different pill.
So - I feel like this is worth confronting her. I'll be honest, I'm not a confrontational guy... any tips for 'gently' bringing this up without it completely blowing up?
A little bit more context...
I won't get into all the details for an attempt to stay discreet. However, she does have history of lying. One sizable lie when we first started dating which she apologized for and I decided to forgive her on the basis that we just started dating and it was something she was embarrassed about. There was also an event in the not so distant past in which she went to rehab for medication abuse (much stronger stuff than the current prescription). She admitted to a lot of lies leading up to that event. Also, a not so great thing - she went to some meetings just after rehab. But that effort has ceased to continue. Not even therapy which was heavily encouraged by the counselor in rehab.
Some of you all might be reading the above and think 'why are you staying in this?' It's possible i have some guilt myself... I definitely spent a lot of years drinking excessively. Never violent or abusive, but likely absent. Sober for a few years now. With that said, I could use some therapy myself.

So long story short, my machine had trouble while I was sewing this seam and I had to stop and restart. I didn’t backstitch like I should’ve and it’s unraveling now. I don’t know how to fix this. Please help!! It’s curtains so it’s a 9 ft long piece of fabric with hems on the bottom and top so I can’t just redo this line of stitches.

This was my first box i built and i think it came out really nice, its bolted to the wall and everything is concealed inside. The box has full bulkheads for all hookups and the amp is mounted on rubber isolators to protect from vibration, also installed 2 be quiet pc fans (one in and one out) to keep the amp cool inside. I have 2 JBL clubs in the front doors, 2 rockford fosgates in the rear (mounted in the box) and a 10 inch scar sub. Inside a 93 hardbody
