Thanks jwpat7, the fact is I'd vote up your answer. One word appearing in two different questions don't make it duplicates. While one question could be about what does bi- stand for, my question is what better one word is there for 6 months like daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly. My guess it there might be one that I don't know of. I suppose it was just that people started using them both ways until each method developed its own purchase. But the OED does comment: bi-weekly adj. (b) Occurring or appearing twice in a ——; as in (The ambiguous usage is confusing, and might be avoided by the use of semi-; e.g. semi-monthly, semi-weekly; cf. half-yearly adj.) – Stack Exchange Network. 9-yr old Amber Hagerman & her little brother were simply doing what kids do on a warm TX.January Morning in 1996-Riding their favorite bikes, just blocks from the safety of their grandparents loving home. The delivery ramp at the vacant grocery store lot was inviting to the siblings, & they rode up & down until the youngest Hagerman left for home. Amber innocently stayed behind,not ready for the fun to end. Moments later, an olive-skinned male in a dark pickup truck pulled up & in a flash, grabbed Amber, tossed her into the front cab, & devastated the lives of many, forever. Four days later, the 9 yr olds lifeless body floated up in a creekbed, just a few miles away. APD believe that someone saw something, esp from the adjoining laundromat that sat within ear & eyeshot of the abduction site. Hey Ex,
I know I’m blocked and you likely won’t see this, but I’m sending this as a way to close this chapter of my life. It’s pretty crazy how we met five years ago at a party, so young and not really knowing what we wanted in life. This song reminded me a lot about us for some reason, so I had to share it before I delete all our messages.
It really hurt how things ended between us. We could’ve ended it more maturely, and I hope you know that what happened at the end was never my intention. If you still see me as a villain, that’s okay there’s nothing I can do to change that. But what I’ve learned after this breakup is that, in order to let go and move on, you have to forgive yourself and the person who hurt you.
I’ve forgiven myself and taken time to reflect on this relationship. I’ve learned so much from it how to love deeply, how to make someone feel like a true princess, and how to be myself while loving someone. I’m happy I get to carry those lessons forward and share that same love with someone new who will truly value and respect me. I also learned the importance of self-respect and setting boundaries, something I’m now holding myself to.
I forgive you for everything: for trying to ruin my name, for spreading misinformation about what happened, and for the hurt and disrespect you showed me over the past year. Maybe you didn’t even realize how much you hurt me, but I forgive you and let it go. I need to release it so I can heal and truly move on.
I hope one day you can look back and see that I was nothing but good to you. Towards the end, I know emotions were heightened and mistakes were made, but my actions were never out of bad intentions. I tried to take accountability for what happened, and I made sure you saw that. I hope, in time, you understand that.
I’m not writing this to reach you, but for my own closure. If we ever cross paths in real life, I will smile and walk away, and I hope you can do the same. If you still hold anger or hate towards me, I can’t control that, but I truly hope you let it go. Holding onto all that pain will only stop you from healing.
I know I set the standard high for you when it comes to how a man should treat you, because despite everything, the love we shared was real. You can leave, but neither of us can erase the memories we had. I guess this is my way of fully closing this chapter and letting go. I’ve deleted everything our pictures, messages, and all of it. I’m no longer angry or mad at you. I honestly wish nothing but the best for you.
Deep down, I’ll always be rooting for you and your future. I hope you win the battles you go through when nobody is around. I want you to succeed in life and get everything you want.
I guess I’m typing so much because this is the last time I’ll ever express this. Hopefully, you never even see this because I’m not writing it for a reaction it’s for me to move forward. Thank you for being my first long term girlfriend, for teaching me about love, life, and myself. You’ve made me realize what I deserve out of life and relationships, and for that, I’m grateful.

Found on an old timer placer gold mine in Yuba County, CA ⛏️🏹⚒️ Anyone have any ID or possible info? I know it’s jasper for sure and that the Maidu tribe was native to the region, but it looks different than other examples of Maidu arrowheads. It looks more primitive/older to me than what they were crafting (and of course I’m aware just because something is more primitive doesn’t mean it’s always older). I’m located in the mountains in the northwestern part of Yuba County, CA

not sure if this is my game or same for everyone but when i buy from a shop my guys always ignore the counter, walk around and stand right next to shop guy, which always bothered me a little, why have a counter if they ignore it? is there a mod that fixes this?
also on this recent game (i thought i remember it different last time i played) the animation for auto ore mine (the machine drill) is same as if you were mining from iron node (swinging a pick) is there a mod that makes the animation same as if they were operating a machine?

I’ve (25m) been seeing this girl for about a month now. We’ve been on 5 dates, and each one has been awesome, and lasted well into the night just talking (nothing more than making out has happened yet).
Last date we talked about exclusivity and how we’ve both stopped seeing other people. Now it feels like this weird ‘what are we’ stage.
Should I just ask her if she wants to make it official next time I see her? I don’t want to be cheesy about it but I’m pretty certain that at this point I want to be with her.. I just don’t want to bring it up if it’s too soon
Been a while since I’ve done this so don’t know the etiquette, when do you usually have that official bf/gf talk and how does it go?

my dog got his nails trimmed yesterday and he came home with blood between his back toes. obviously worried, we went home to check it out and there is this large brown thing in between them. it doesn’t seem to bother him too much, other than he has been trying to lick it. i have been trying to find any kind of information online about what it could be and if he needs to go to the vet but have found nothing that looks similar. if anyone has any thoughts pls let me know!! i am a broke college student so i am quite worried that it could be something bad and i won’t have the money to help him.
