Hello everyone been in this subreddit for a bit. But I have never started omad so just making this post to officially start my omad and see how much weight I lose. I have been slowly losing weight but I get into a cycle where I have some good days then I binge and repeat. I really want to and need to control myself. I hope omad gives me the discipline to not binge and eat how humans were ment to eat. I am starting my journey Sunday 2nd feb wish me luck!
I will try post every week/regularly recording my weight and keeping myself accountable.

Is there anyone here have the same issue as mine. My RMN13 Pro Plus has updated to Hyper OS 2.0. However, when I tried my downloaded THEME on this phone it didn't changed my Control Center only the Status BAR. Is this a bugs or the themes I have is not compatible to this new update?

So far so good with staying away from refined sugars, andI can tell my body is appreciating the respite from junk food and blood sugar spikes, but I do find myself drinking A LOT of milk tea. I've gone from one or two cups a day to three or four, all with lots of milk. It's not just for the caffiene as I switch to decaf after 2pm or two cups. Clearly this is preferable to being on the colas, but I'm going to have to rein it in.

Hello, I want a new TV and for my price range I found these two TVs around 550€ each.
I will mainly use this TV to connect it to my PC for gaming and also to watch series, movies, and YouTube videos.
I've read in reviews that the 55U7NQ, having a Mini-LED panel, offers better image quality, but the 65E7NQ Pro has the advantage of being 65". I have plenty of space to fit any size and I've never had a 65" TV before, so I don't know if I'll notice a big difference compared to a 55" one and if it's worth sacrificing the Mini-LED.
On the other hand, for gaming, I believe both have a 144Hz refresh rate and perform well in that area. Maybe the 65E7NQ is slighty better?
What do you guys think? Thanks a lot!

So I (18 f) always have gotten treated differently by people in the service industries when I was younger it’d be I’d 80% of the time get given extra food but I thought that was because I was a underweight kid. But even today I seem to get different treatment waiters have asked for my number to stay in touch. A shop keeper gave me a free folder yesterday after we chatted for a while and to add to that I seem to often end up having long conversations with them, I’m an extrovert but try not to bother people working with my personality so it’s not me pushing the convo. I seem to end up befriending most of them in the end, for the record I don’t think I do anything out of the ordinary I try to be friendly but not bother them you know? So like is there any potential reasons to this? I ask since I went on a shop the other day and my friend thought me and the cashier were friends I’ve never met her in my life.

Hello again everyone - I’m back with this month’s educational post about an individual dividend growth stock to demonstrate the long-term wealth that dividend investing can provide. I intend to post on the first Saturday of each month.
While it is obvious that growing companies are highly valued by the market (see NVDA, META, and more), generating profits and returning those profits through dividends to shareholders is also highly valued. Adding to that thought, it’s not necessarily about the size of the dividend paycheck (yield) but rather the fact that it arrives every quarter and grows every year. This month’s stock is a great example of this.
A reminder that I did not develop rules for selecting these stocks and I am not attempting to defeat a benchmark (such as SCHD), but I am tracking performance over time to demonstrate the concept I am trying to explain. The stock of the month portfolio (just one month so far), is down 11.4% in price and has not yet earned any dividends. For those investors willing to take the risk, this might actually indicate a more appealing entry point. Alternatively, it could be a warning sign of more carnage to come.
This month’s stock is Snap-on ($SNA). Disclosure: I own shares and presently intend to hold into the future.
SNA currently pays a quarterly dividend of $2.14 representing an annualized yield of 2.41% at the current price of $355. Over the last 10 years, the average yield of SNA has been 2.25%. Therefore, today’s investor will purchase a cash flow stream only about 7% more valuable than the average day over the past 10 years. While that’s certainly better than buying at a premium to the average dividend yield, in an ideal world investors try to buy at a larger discount. But this company rarely trades at such a discount because of its strong history of profitability and dividends. Read on to see what I’m talking about.
An investor purchasing $10,000 worth of SNA on February 2, 2015 and reinvesting all dividends would have realized total returns of 334% with a total value today of $33,449. Please note that this slightly trails a broad market index (S&P500, for example), as we might expect from most individual stocks.
The 2015 investor originally purchased a stock when it yielded just 1.61% and expected to earn $2.12 in their first year of equity ownership. However, this year, they are scheduled to earn $8.56, which means a yield on cost of 6.50%. Patience has paid off for the 2015 investor with a more valuable asset and higher annual cash flow!
As always, I do not have any idea whether all of this will continue into the future. But investing involves risk, so a person willing to take this risk is hoping to be compensated in several ways. First, with an annual dividend increase, which came in the form of a 15.1% increase announced back in November. SNA has grown its dividend for 10 straight years and reports a payout ratio under 50%, which provides great odds of a growing dividend for several years to come. Second, with the hopes of yield returning to the long-term average of 2.25% through a small price gain. And third, through ongoing improvements in the efficiency and profitability of the company to allow for even higher dividends in the future.
I tend to aim for a 15% Chowder Ratio with new stock purchases. SNA currently sports a Chowder Ratio of 17%! The high dividend growth rate makes it a great candidate for my portfolio.
Now that we’ve talked about the past, let’s project some numbers 5 years into the future. If the company falls to a lower Chowder Ratio of just 10% over the next 5 years, that will represent a dividend growth rate of about 7.5%. This is to demonstrate conservatism in this analysis. Then, if the company returns to its long-term average yield, it would yield 2.25%. Using those calculations, in 5 years today’s investor would have stock worth $546 (54% price return) and earn a yield on cost of 3.46% ($12.29 annually). These are conservative numbers and still indicate over 50% price growth!
The company’s 44% dividend payout ratio allows the company to pay this projected dividend amount with no additional net income growth over the next 5 years, something that would be uncommon for this strong company.
For this reason, SNA is my choice for Stock of the Month and is well-situated to continue its long-term path of shareholder wealth creation.
