Boa noite, pessoal. Eu tenho 33 anos (vou fazer 34 semana que vem, rs) e trabalho na posição de Especialista em Excelência Operacional. Estou fazendo Engenharia de Produção (vou para o segundo período), mas como trabalho muito, fazer faculdade nessa altura da vida está cansativo. Decidi fazer o curso porque eu tenho uma formação nada a ver com nada (sou formada em Geografia, Bibliiteconomia, tenho mestrado em Geografia também e MBA em Ciência de Dados), e fiquei com a impressão que se eu perder meu atual emprego, por conta da minha formação zoada, dificilmente conseguiria me colocar no mercado de novo. Meu MBA foi na Poli-USP e tive aula com o irmão do meu orientador do mestrado, que era professor lá, que insistiu muito que daria certo eu fazer engenharia.
Faço na UNIVESP, que é uma pública EAD, dizem que ela é mais ruinzinha, porém eu não tenho energia de encarar presencialmente, e ainda mais numa turma muito mais jovem que eu.
Fazer o curso de Engenharia na Univesp já seria o suficiente para me recolocar profissionalmente na mesma posição caso eu perca esse emprego? Mesmo sendo uns diplomas inúteis, o fato de só ter feito usp consegue "melhorar" o meu currículo? Será que se eu fizer um curso de Processos Gerenciais ou algo mais rápido já me ajuda? Se eu tiver que procurar algo na minha área de formação minha renda certamente diminuiria muito.

Many decades ago, humanity prospered on the Destroyed Earth. Where there is now Earthbelt, where there is now Santa's Moon, there was once a planet of green lands and liquid blue rivers. A planet where you didn't need an EVA suit to go outside, where skies were blue and water rained down from the white clouds, the planet we called our home, our cradle. In 2032, the Columbia Federation, back when they were called the United States, landed the first men and women on the surface of Mars. From their landing site, a base was estabilished, and that base is now Ares City, the capital of humankind. Soon, we reached Ceres, we reached Jupiter, we reached Saturn. Colonies across the solar system. It was with this that humanity estabilished the Confederation of the United Colonies to ensure peace among the stars. And then, the Purge happened. In 2052, what was once a day of giving became a day of apocalypse. Santa Claus, a man who once brought joy to the people of the Destroyed Earth, decided that humanity was too naughty, and as such, we were not worthy of existance. He brought death to the world, devastated the cities, killed the populace. The Columbia Federation, the Eurasian Socialist Union, the Chinese Socialist Republic, and many others fought valiantly to defeat Santa Claus, but his forces were too powerful. And soon, Santa Claus activated a weapon which destabilized the planet's core. The planet shook itself apart, it became Earthbelt. Those who left just before the Purge faced one last desperate evacuation at Tranquility Base, when Santa's forces took it for themselves. Just before the planet's destruction, one final message was sent to the Colonies, telling them of what happened: Earth, our mother, our womb, was gone. Ten billion humans, all departed for the afterlife. The remaining billions lived their life among the Colonies. Mars became our new homeworld. Ares City became humanity's seat of government. Decades would pass. Generations would be born never knowing what the Destroyed Earth was like to be in. It is now the year 2103 CE, or as many of us call it, the year 51 AP, After Purge. Santa continues his campaign from the Moon of the Destroyed Earth, but with new weapons, Mars holds and the Colonies are safe. We are currently attempting to terraform Mars, to make it more like our former homeworld, but we will not see that happen for centuries. Two billion humans reside among the stars, living out their days on Mars, and on the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. A warp engine development program is in progress, in the hopes of allowing us to leave the solar system, leaving Santa and the Purge behind. When December 25th comes, we no longer expect presents. Instead, we hold Colony-wide prayers and vigils for those lost in the Purge. Most people alive today have never celebrated finding toys beneath the now-extinct pine tree. There are no fireplaces in airtight, pressurized colony structures. When we make cookies and milk, only we eat them. You can't build a snowman out of Martian dust. Who knows what the future holds, where we'll be in 2153. Children alive today witnessed neither the charity, nor the destruction. But one thing is certain: Humanity will endure. Title says it all. I’m on a 3080 now and after seeing the 5080 benchmarks, if I can’t get one I’m just going to switch to amd and call it a day. Moneys not an issue for it. I play in 1440p and just want to max frames as much as I can while occasionally using ray tracing for single player games and as long as I can get 90fps+ I’ll be happy with it. Also, for those of you on Radeon, are older titles like fallout 1-3 able to play just fine? Never had amd cards but heard they need to be messed with to get older games to play.

Hello, I’m in the process of submitting my appeal after being denied on initial application. Unfortunately I recently moved and seem to have misplaced the letter I received notifying me of their decision to deny me and I need the date on that paper for the appeal and I’m not sure what to do.
I have the dates when you log in to your portal but they are different for SSI and SSDI.
I’d call and ask but unfortunately 60 days from the date for SSI is on Monday and I’m worried I won’t get it in soon enough even if it’s online. I would’ve done it sooner but I didn’t initially realize there were two different dates when I logged in (SSDI decision was like a week later) and at first I thought I had to have a lawyer before I appealed.
Is there anywhere online I can find the date for this? I’m freaking out a bit. I’m young so I know it’s going to take awhile and I really don’t want to mess this up and delay it anymore

I’ve arrived at an epiphany almost a year after multiple d-days and multiple trickle truth disclosures and I know, I know how obvious this is going to seem to some of you folks on this sub but hear me out for a minute.
To sum it up - partner admits that because of past trauma and the habit of covering up “the bad thoughts” with dopamine seeking behaviour, he would act out when I went to bed, usually after a couple of drinks. All of his betrayal was phone related. Downloading dating apps, messaging sex workers when in a relationship, paying for cam girls, etc. all of it was after a few drinks and always through his phone.
Fast forward to now - he’s controlled his drinking and claims that he’s clean. I’m working through my trauma with a therapist and trying to parent through this as best as I can and I’m getting good at understanding what my trauma triggers are. So I finally make the link - I get irrationally angry with him every time he pick his phone up in my presence. I just thought I was being overbearing but I’ve come to the realization that the reason why I’m so frustrated about it is because it is the literal mechanism that led to the total erosion of trust and safety in our relationship. His phone habits sent me down a detrimental mental health spiral of which I can’t even say I’ve returned from, or ever will return from. My body can’t tell the difference between engaging in hand to hand combat and witnessing him scroll on marketplace.
Trauma sucks. Even when you understand it, it still sucks.

I’ve been following an Emmrich romance guide but there haven’t been any cutscenes or quests of his triggering for a while.
I completed The Siege on Weisshaupt last night and I’m worried that may have locked me out of potential Emmrich cutscenes and quests.
The guide mentioned I need to complete ‘Bloodbath’ (Lucanis quest) and once back at the lighthouse, Emmrich should have a cutscene in his room interrogating someone, but instead he was just standing outside.
After skipping a few steps and interactions in the guide, it mentions getting the story quest The Cauldron should also trigger a cutscene with Emmrich, though again nothing is triggering and he’s just standing in his room.
Will I need to go back to a save file before Weisshaupt and do Bloodbath first? Or is there a way to get these cutscenes to trigger?
