I've went down an intonation rabbit hole on my new TOD10N and even learned to make my own saddles out of blanks to try to get the action lowest possible with no fret buzz and then started working on the intonation which for 4 of my strings (Ernie Ball Ernesto Palla Clear and Silver Medium Tension) is sharp with enough room to compensate the saddle. The A is perfect and the G is extremely sharp which is what has sent me down this rabbit hole. I have already compensated the saddle for my G string as far back towards the bridge as I can and it is still very noticeably sharp at the 12th fret so I usually tune my G string flat at open which makes it sound just okay across most of the fretboard. I just ordered two new packs of strings, one D'Addario XTC45 normal tension which I'd like to try putting just the G string on to flatten my intonation and I'll make a new saddle if I have to. I also picked up some Hannabach Medium/High tension strings that are made of carbon fiber instead of nylon which I've heard can affect intonation differently so if replacing the single G string doesn't work I'll try to put this whole new pack on of carbon fiber strings to see how it intonates. Opinions seem to differ on whether carbon fiber actually sharpens or flattens intonation so it'll be my last resort it could actually make it worse. Asking for any other opinions or ideas that could help thank you.

2024.11.25 00:20 JallsInYoBaw Is there any cut content involving the Twins?

Like seriously, they're introduced with an unnerving speech about how they'll give you a "headstart" before revealing their plan to torture you. It's then followed up by the second time you see them and making it clear they're going to hunt you now.
...And literally nothing else happens with them. They have one half-hearted chase in the Female Ward and then one of the Twins appears in the theatre, but that's it. The Twins being underutilized is hella disappointing, especially since they're one of my favorite villains.
I was wondering if we have info about any original plans for the Twins.

As a Grappling alternative, DMG2014 has rules in the DMs Tool Kit (Ch9:pg271) for Climbing onto a Bigger Creature that involve treating the aforementioned Bigger Creature as Difficult Terrain for movement purposes then making opposed Acrobatics checks for the attacker to cling to the Bigger Creature's back and gain advantage on attack rolls. I can't seem to find this equivalent in the DMG2024 beyond the part about treating the Bigger Creature as difficult terrain for Movement purposes (PHB2024 Ch1;pg25).
While I'm sure the old optional rule works at a DND2024 table, it'd be reassuring to know if there was any similar DND2024 verbiage that I missed describing this action.

2024.11.25 00:20 Exciting-Many-709 My first was like R, my second was...not. (Plus, the ads!)

My first baby was a lot like R, very advanced for his age, polite, talking very early, etc. Like R, repeated a lot and learned to say things like "please" and "thank you" early on, and had adults fawning all over him because of how sweet he was so young. I thought I was a great mom because clearly I was doing something right - look at my kid! When it was just him, I wanted to have 20 more. I didn't understand why other parents struggled so much with their babies, and I truly thought I was a super-parent.
Then my second came along and...wow was I humbled. He met his milestones at a very different, overall more average pace - he walked a lot earlier, for example, but talking and communicating was much later than my first. He cried a lot more, and also because he couldn't express himself and also didn't really understand us either, and also didn't have much of an interest in learning or repeating words or phrases until he was about 3 - 1.5 years later than my first. He was much more like other kids than my first was. It made me realize I wasn't a great parent inherently, I had a very easy first baby. They're both fantastic kids, they just had very different baby/toddler years. And R and my first are definitely exceptions.
I genuinely think this second baby might be a wake-up call, or at the very least a shock to A + B, because they in fact AREN'T good parents (even based solely on the fact that they exploit tf out of their kid), they just got very lucky. If this second baby *slightly* doesn't live up to the expectations they - or the FANS - have of what it should act like, things could go south for them. I really worry for baby #2, having to live in your brother's shadow while also being responsible for your parents' finances, while also being a BABY, and having millions of insane fans literally fantasizing about kidnapping you - it's literally child abuse. Both of these children are being abused, IMO. I do think this next baby isn't going to be the cash cow they hope it'll be, because I really doubt they'll be able to create another R. Now that R is also getting older, he's losing some of that appeal anyway.
Not to mention how every video is an ad now! I check back once in a while (I used to be a fan until I came to my senses and saw fan account after fan account after fan account for a BABY, and all those crazy comments), and I don't understand how her fans are so cool with it. Literally every video is an ad for something new, and each feels as inorganic as the last. I see comments on her ad videos saying something like "what are we selling today?" and "another day, another ad" and things like that but they get deleted pretty quickly.
I assume most people on this sub are younger, so I thought I'd share from a parent's perspective. I really think their best days are behind them. And I hope these kids can be protected in some way in the future.

Does anyone know or experience pain around the vagina when peeing? Some times it’s better and other times it’s noticeable. It’s when I’m urinating, the burning I get around my vagina entrance stings a little. I’ve no vaginal infections. I’ve checked everything but I’m experiencing this. I’ve been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction and vaginismus.
