I've noticed when I'm looking at optimal trade routes to use that some of the routes go one tile either side of another of my cities that has a trade outpost in it. My name is Kristi Nielson and I’m a research student at Lancaster University. I am posting here to invite eligible participants to be involved in a study I’m conducting on orthorexia nervosa (ON) or obsessive healthy eating. Orthorexia is defined here as an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating, to the point where it negatively impacted someone's life (e.g., emotionally, physically, socially, etc.). Specifically, I am interested in the lived experience of ON among individuals who identify as men that live in the U.S. The purpose of my research is to explore what men believe led to their experience with orthorexia, as well as what they think currently maintains it.
You’re eligible if:
• You identify with orthorexia nervosa or obsessive healthy eating, in which this phenomenon has negatively impacted your life (e.g., physically, emotionally, socially)
• You identify as a man
• You are > 18 years old
• You reside in the U.S.
• You are able to speak English
What is being asked of you? If you meet the above criteria and want to participate, you will be asked to partake in an online interview with me for approximately 60 minutes.

I had a very emotional weekend. My wife is on the verge of leaving me and wanted to have long discussions. We’re in this weird space where we’ve built up some resentments over the past twenty years. I’ve been in therapy for about three years and work on things very consistently. My anxiety can get really bad when we start talking about what we should do but I’m working hard to keep from panicking and have the discussions.
It basically comes down to a dead bedroom, never being aligned about having kids, losing a shared future vision, and feeling disconnected. I’ve tried working on myself, talking about my needs more, and having real conversations and trying to connect with her. This all sounds silly because there’s just so many walls up. My wife is on eggshells with me and grey rocks me until it comes out in this big wave like this weekend. She’ll say she wants couples therapy and I’m in agreement and that I’m here to work on things and I’m not running away.
She’s a really great person, we’ve gone through a lot in our marriage (parental deaths, big moves, illnesses). The first half of our marriage, she was very dependent on me for all of her needs. She asks me now if I can forgive her and she wishes she was more mature when we got married. I don’t resent her for any of that, we were just two kids doing what we knew how. I was a born over-functioner from a family system that I wasn’t loved unless I behaved that way.
She tends to be really closed off and I used to push to get her to open up to me and I know now that wasn’t my responsibility. But I grew resentful as time went on knowing that it’s very one-sided when I’m the only one willing to share and be vulnerable. When she’s talking to me this weekend, it feels like the first time she’s able to just be open with me and it makes me happy.
But I had a bad dream last night, probably due to all of these stressful conversations this weekend, and I feel totally overwhelmed and keep weeping. She told me I’m the perfect man, that I’m one in a million and she’ll never find someone like me. I’m not that great. I may always try my hardest but I’m a mess and have messy feelings and am very emotional.
It feels like we’re on the precipice of getting a divorce. I can’t get over feeling like I missed out on not having our own family and seeing a very lonely future. She wants to feel more affection and have her partner feel excited to spend time together. It makes me feel like a total failure. I don’t know what else to do. I know through therapy to not catastrophize and that neither of us are bad people. I’m just so sad and so lost. It doesn’t feel like there’s any positive resolutions.
Sorry for the messiness of this post, I don’t know how to really summarize 20 years and how we ended up here.

 | So Saturday I heard her do a single sneeze, first time I’ve ever heard her sneeze since owning her, and I heard her sneeze a few times last night and once this morning, and noticed her nose was runny (no color or thickness, the fur around her nose is just wet). I’m pretty certain the hay holder and the dust from the hay is causing it (you can see the little bits of leftover hay from the pic) so I took it out and laid the litterbox with large pieces of hay and swept out the area. Hi! This is my first league and I have so far followed Zizaran’s EA Champion build. I really enjoy the gameplay and would like to max out the potential of the build considering that the league will continue for at least two more months. I have about 30 divines in liquid currency and play ~ 10 hours per week. Since Zizaran’s EA Champ guide is lacking re really high-end upgrades, I’ve followed the top EA champ build in POE ninja - https://poe.ninja/pob/6e4b1 - and tried to understand what he/she has done that works. Anyway, here is my build in POE ninja - https://poe.ninja/pob/6e4b2 . So far, I’ve compiled a to-do list that I would invite you to criticize and/or supplement:
- Finish the quiver so that I can use Widowhail
- Double corrupt Fourth Vow to at least +2 to duration or projectile
- Double corrupt cheap Dyadian Dawn’s for beneficial implicits
- Better bases for gloves, boots and helmet
- Same cluster jewels as the guy I linked as well as hitting lvl 100
- New glorious vanity I wouldn’t have to go far away from the tree base to use it.
